I first discovered Daft Punk in year 7, age 11, 2005 on Limewire and since then, I've use youtube to mp3 for *all* of their songs into neat albums on iTunes.
Man it's sad to hear the news of Daft Punk's split, so I'm gonna go on a Daft Punk discography run so celebrate one of the greatest discographies out there man. I wish them well for their creative endeavours in the future. I know Thomas is big into film stuff now, and Guy will probably do some artist collaborations down the line, it'll be interesting what the future holds for them
Ojalá que hagan las canciones que no llegaron a publicarse de forma oficial, pero merecen reconocimiento por que la verdad la rompieron en el año 1994 en adelante... =)
Fun Fact: This Was Their First EP After Singing To Slam's Soma Quality Recordings Before They Started Working On Their Debut Studio Album "Homework" With Virgin Records
@@Brendan-Black I have. And when those records came out, no one was calling it IDM. It was techno. IDM was a term coined by music store morons in 1998 to help categorize a sub-genre and makeit sellable
When people say Daft Punk is too commercial, I show them this
This is when they were starting out, they definitely became commercial.
@@Brendan-Black yes they did, but it's funny to show those people that Daft Punk started with raves

Their discography is truly phenomenal. The best I've ever seen!
lol that's exactly what i'm doing, daft punk will live on. French House will never die!!!
Are you going to get the Roulè and crydamoure?
Ok who attached the beat pattern directly to electricity?
this song is so different to literally everything else they ever made. even the other early techno inspired stuff didnt really sound like this at all.
2:12 you could say that's a grime beat right there

Days Before Homework
what i’ve been listening to them for 10 years and this EP is the only thing I never heard of, very surprising
They should have made a new version for Homework just like they did with Alive, Funk Ad is really lazy (yet it somehow is catchy).
#ThankYouDaftPunk.
Parts of Assault remind me of Friendly Faith Plate from Portal 2
