Awesome videos! Question, does an effluent pump in last tank suppose to disturb the water violently while running or should the water in tank barely move while pumping to field? Thanks

Hi, on my well tank it lists a max working pressure (higher psi) and max relief pressure (lower psi). Can you explain the difference?

I have an off-grid desert well that can only pump for 30 minutes every 3 hours. I also have above ground water storage and need a pump controller that will pump for 30 minutes every 3 hours, but only if the tank isn't full. Suggestions?

A irrigation company replaced a little giant 1.5HP 2 wire 35 GPM pump in a pond with a Franklin 25SV15S4-3W230 with a 35 GPM 3 wire pump. The wires going to the pump are approx 275 feet. The wire is 2wires + a ground. The wire has 2 wires that are about 10 gauge plus a solid copper ground that appears to be 12 gauge The pump works great but pulls 16 amps initially then drops to 14amps. The head is approx. 25 feet from the surface of the lake. The old pump had a contractor, not a control box. Not sure how this pump is even running without a control box. No start or run capacitor unless there is one in the pump. I measured the pressure (60psi)with the pump running and the sprinklers operating.
    Questions:
Do I need to install a control box? Would it help the amp draw? I know that a capacitor in a AC unit effects the power factor which effects the efficiency. as well as helping the motor to start.
Could you demo what effect a 3wire pump without a control box vs one with a control box with a start and run capacitor.
The pump is in a PVC stand. The pump is in the bottom of the stand and draws water from a PVC just below the surface of the water.
Can’t find any specs on the pump. I think the new pump came with a 25GPM pump but the installer changed that part to a 35GPM.
I have learned a lot from your UA-cam videos. I never had a irrigation system before I moved to this home. Any information would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

my well is less than a year old , about six months ago my well would lose prime , i would go out add water and turn it back on it would run fine for a month or so , all of a sudden it would do it again , happened today i added less than a gallon of water to fill it , but the pressure gauge back on and it runs fine , what keeps causing this.

i know this isn’t relevant to this video but i have a question on why my pool pump turns on then turns off. It was working perfectly fine but it was turned on and off too fast then it stopped working any thoughts?

Can anyone answer this question. Every spring I have to raise my submersible pump about 5 feet because of silt and dirt build up in the bottom of the well. Right now the pump is still in about 100 feet of water. How much more can I keep bringing the pump up 5 feet every spring before I don't have enough water.
