Canon's RF-S 18-45 has 2 issues. Firstly it's not very sharp (not much improvement from the EF kit lenses). Second, losing 2mm on the wide end is big deal, because canon's crop factor is 1.6x but nikon and Sony are 1.5x. So, with nikon's 16mm wide end 1.5x crop gives you 24mm equivalent, on canon 18mm with a 1.6x crop you get 29.2mm. You lose out a lot of range on the wide end. If you go the canon route my suggestion is to spend more on a better lens. Maybe take the 18-150mm super zoom kit lens which is actually quite a bit better than the 18-45, or even better, go for Sigma's 18-50mm f2.8. Yes it's still 18mm on the wide end but you get F2.8 throughout the zoom range, not to mention that's a way sharper lens.
Great content

Compared to Canon R10 kit lens which is better? More sharper ? And quicker autofocus
