Hello and thank you for day 26, Thursday, October 26, 2023.
I need to go back and make a definitive note of the chapter that uses the Ant byway of being a worker, and preparer of things to come.
As far as, the dog, I share your sentiments, I like dogs, but not in the house, and in my bed, kissing me on the mouth, absolutely out of the question.
I have heard this scriptural text a many of times, however I don’t think I knew that it was part of the Old Testament or that it resided in the Book of Proverbs.
I have to say it’s an awesome and unforgettable illustration of how disgusting and foolish it is to repeat the same mistake, by making the same foolish choices, over and over, again and sabotaging your own life, by causing undue distress!
What we don’t defeat, we will repeat! Get the lesson, acknowledge the disappointment. Hold yourself accountable. Repent. Ask for forgiveness, and move on!
Peace and blessings UA-cam family ❣️

31 Days of Wisdom a journey through Proverbs. Day 26, on Day 27, I fell off yesterday, but I’m back today, Saturday, January, 27. Today’s text had a lot of analogies and lessons using animals, like in the verse Mr Brown highlighted. Additionally, there were more analogies used between the wise and the foolish. However, I really resonated with the verses that warned us against gossiping and gossipers. In verse 20, we are told, without gossip a quarrel dies down. Verse 22 continues with, the words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to a man’s inmost parts.

Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction."
Proverbs 26:11 "As a dog returns to his own vomit,
So a fool repeats his folly."
This verse combined with the verse you were talking about makes me think that if we are going to return to are old ways, at least try to learn something new about it so we go in with fresh eyes and a renewed mind. Hopefully then we can turn from our sin or live a better life.

Proclaim Ministries I want to know what it means when someone says I don't know God so how would you even know what God wants or even is trying to tell you. Mr.Brown I have tried to get on this path before. I didn't have a religion before but I believe in God. So to get a better understanding I started going to church a few years ago and I stopped but now I am back again and I am actually learning on my own but what I don't understand when I try to teach someone or remind someone of God's teaching someone told me I don't know God so how would you even know. This person knows the journey I am on today and they have told me this multiple times. Can you please explain this to me? I am trying to do right by God and I feel it in my heart that I am learning and I'm ready for what is to come out of this. I just have a lot to learn.

Is it because I haven't been baptized a Christian? Is that why I don't know God and God isn't reaching out to me? Am I not hearing him when I pray?

It’s actually a defense mechanism because other animals will pick up the scent to let them know another animal is near by ... seems nasty but it is for defense

Dogs eat their regurgitation (sort if like we swallow those weird refluxes), but definitely if they're vomiting, it's usually as a result of nausea which in that case, they do not eat their vomit...incase it makes you feel slightly better about it.
Still definitely appreciate the proverbs' clear illustration there though

Admit, believe, what is C in your leading someone to Christ? Ty for your message.

    • @ProclaimMinistries
      @ProclaimMinistries  4 роки тому +3

C is Choose. Some use C for call upon Him. The idea is that we must trust, believe, place our faith, rely on what he did on the cross to pay for our sins. It not about what we have done or even fail to do. It’s about what he has done. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,” There are no human works required for salvation. He did the work, we receive by faith what He’s already done. Does that help?

Who are you doing with the vegetable eating? It maybe to the texture. Try eating very amount at a time. Followed by water? Ask them if you can eat small amounts until you get used to them.

Enough with the dog bashing. The Proverbs writes just as disparagingly about humans. Good message other than the personal opinions.
