A journey through the Book of Proverbs. Chapter 30. Praying is talking to God. Meditating is listening to God. We are instructed to pray without ceasing. We are told that the prayers of the righteous avail, much. I pray for wisdom, I pray for discipline to perform my daily duties which will ultimately make me a better person. I pray for others, especially parishioners, pastors counselors, psychologist, and such like that I pray that my sins will be forgiven, known and unknown I pray for world, peace. I pray to not be given over to a reprobate mind. Lastly, I always pray for God‘s provision and his protection, and that I would have a mind to seek him daily through prayer through Thanksgiving through gratitude 🙏🏾
I just found myself slipping away into falsehood and lies (that money will make me happy). Part of this proverb says that we should pray and ask God to keep us away from these things, because it is a Good thing.
