Nah bro, there's an FD1 that comes with a K20 motor. Considered it's an fd1 but it still has the heart of an fd2. Here in the Philippines, you can only get a 2007 FD1. That's the only year that Honda released a 5-speed k20 motor.
Yes the 8th gen can come with k20a from Fd2. Fa5/fd5 come with k20z3. Which are the 6 speed full vtec engines. There is also k20z2 which is 5speed intake only vtec. That came in fd5 non type s. and fd1 overseas I believe but there is also r18,hybrid motors
I might have some parts if you are interested. Like my diff and final gear ratio. Have to look in my storage. It’ll be coming from Japan but have an APO box
