- Pacific Drive is a first-person driving survival game where your
car is your only companion. Navigate a surreal reimagining of
the Pacific Northwest and face supernatural dangers as you
venture into the Olympic Exclusion Zone.
In the abandoned garage that is your home base, you'll restore
and upgrade your car between expeditions. Each trip into the
wilderness offers surprising and odd challenges as you drive.

So, 5 months ago, I started the 500 day challenge with you. I finished part 1 and in mid August, I had a freak accident and ended up breaking my foot and I couldn't go back home because my condo is on the second floor so I had to live with my grandmother and I'm still technically living with her because I'm still not 100% but I managed to bring my game console over set it up about a month ago and got it updated. For whatever reason, I can't update to the cooking recipes and whatnot. Not sure why. But, I started playing the Long Dark again and I finally got caught up with you last week. It pained me for months that I couldn't follow along with you. Thank you for everything you do in the gaming world.

I never read book 7 because I didn’t want it to end. It was so long ago I forgot a lot of the little details, so I’m currently reading them all over again. Right now I’m on the Wolves of Calla. TDT is a such an amazing series!

No streaming here due to me living in the country. Fiber has been laid finally out here and should be available this spring, but until then, my Starlink….while absolutely awesome…just can’t consistently keep the speeds fast enough for it.
Well that's fine and all however it's QUITE jarring when the content creator starts talking to those who participate in the side chat box instead of focusing on the game currently being played. I've seen ppl turn what was supposed to be a 1 1/2 hrs video of playtime turned into a mere 20mins and the rest is having full conversations with side chat. Quality of said video turns to instant dog water JUST because of this...

Good point! It’s still weird to have different inputs for interact. But it’s a minor issue for an otherwise interesting game so far.

After you arrived and got the arc fuel, I think the game was telling you to loot,scrap all the resources you can before teleporting back to base.
I was wondering could you have scrapped the fence that you drove through driving to the antenna station.

The transitions between zones and the 'painted' style graphics remind me of The Long Dark in many ways...
Add in an 80’s vibe and driving…it’s pretty sweet!
I really love that art style. It was one of the many draws I had to The Long Dark way back when it first came out.
Plus the looting is very TLD. It has that hording feel with a similar limitation mechanic of space as opposed to weight
If you have the ability to comment to these guys about the controls stuff, I would send them an email and see what they can do but it sounds like an interesting game. I’m gonna wait and see how you play through and see if I wanna buy it.

It very well might. There is a streamer safe setting for the audio to make sure it doesn’t play copyrighted music though…and I had that turned on obviously. So I’m saying, there is a chance! 😂
