I'm using DaVinci Resolve and I was looking to buy the oneplus for content creation. Thank you!
I would not buy the OnePlus 13 for content creation unless you use a third-party app to capture video. The frame rate is variable, which means you won't get a guaranteed number of frames per second, making the footage jumpy occasionally.
I just found out that ultrawide on oneplus 8 pro might be better than all of the newer offerings. UW on this phone is like half inch sensor while all of the phones after this one have like half inch smaller sensor
Thanks for your great review mate. Imagine the OnePlus 13 in Europe when it will be released with the OxygenOS which is lighter than ColorOS. Its camera also looks very promising.
Oxygenos IS coloros i miss Time when that oxygenos was something. And The bloatware nah no More. I want genuine Android so have to think Pixel series next.
@Techmo , the charger and silicon case for the OnePlus 13 is not for all regions. China yes, North America/Global I think as well (not 100% sure), Europe it's not there anymore due to recent EU regulations changes. This new EU regulation change impacts ALL brands launching a device since mid-2024. Also, it's ColorOS on China models, OxygenOS on all other models (IN, GLO/NA, EU). For the rest, very impressive comparison. Might be interesting to do early 2025 when Samsung launches the Galaxy S25 Ultra to compare with the same SnapDragon chipset?
Its stupid comparison. OP photo just oversaturated and more AI processed. 5:31 - look at OP whole pjoto just blurred by AI, and it doesnt mean more details, photo feels like made by AI. Zero natural
Yeah but the noise is too much on the samsung so something in between would be preferred but oneplus was too extreme on the denonising made it too smooth and ai fake
Also S24 ultra is an old device with SD 8 Gen 3. OP 13 is new with SD 8 Elite, better to wait for S25 Ultra for fair comparison, but then the price of S25 Ultra will double than the OP 13. 😅
4:10 BTW, it's unique to showcase the video quality on the phones themselves, maybe other viewers will like the uniqueness too, or a blend of both somehow, but I like that
I don't know if you will read my reply to your comment but even the OnePlus 11R outperforms the S24 Ultra in camera performance. I own the S24 Ultra, and my coworker has the OnePlus 11r and believe me Its camera delivers better results across the board-low light, indoor, outdoor, colors, and portraits.
@Techmo Hi buddy , hope all is well , quick question for you , if i buy op13 from giztop , is it gonna get all updates and security updates ? I live in canada and not sure about it because it would be a chinese version of the phone
The only downside of OnePlus phones has been the long history of Wi-Fi driver issues, which seems to be more a challenge of lasting development support for their phone software updates post-launch. A big contributing factor is dependence on native drivers in Andriod vs an ability to create custom drivers similar to LG, Samsung, and several others are able to do. This means native radio driver challenges tend to linger for years on OnePlus devices. So, you get flagship hardware with little backend development support for continuous improvement when Andriod native issues surface. Motorola has a history of the same driver challenges. These challenges are missed on many reviews but are heavily discussed of Wi-Fi Engineering forums.
Wonderful review. Can you please tell if the high 2160 HZ PWM display of one plus 13 has made any difference to your eye comfort for long time viewing. I am finding it very uneasy to read on my s23 ultra as my eyes start hurting, maybe due to low 240hz PWM.

@razor-b2d The camera quality isn't bad at all, they're using the same sensors as they did in the s23 series, not changing sensors for a year doesn't make them bad. Now do google take better photos than the s24u? Absolutely, but when you just make up dumb shit it looks silly

are you Persian ? I was genuinely surprised when I connected the pieces and thought you might be Persian. great unbiased content keep up the good work.
For my needs OnePlus not having anything similar to Samsung Dex mode (or standard MHL for that matter) nor Dual Bluetooth Audio makes these phones not even comparable.
Main issue with the s24 ultra cameras is not hardware but software processing. It's to extreme. It could be dialed down with medium processing, but AGC Gcam provides far better images than stock camera app. Doubt that s25 ultra will be significantly better. It's just Samsung's way of understanding image processing.
Men of culture know the Pixel is king of smartphones anyways. Because nowadays speed is no longer the measure - it is camera and software. Google excels at both
Hi, I believe that comparing of even not yet officially introduced OnePlus 13 to Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is already on market for quite a time (shares the same gen of Snapdragon CPU as OnePlus 12 released about a year ago) is not fair. It would be much more fair to compare OnePlus 12 to that Samsung, what do you think about it? Don't get me wrong, I like your in-depth comparison. I am even long-time OnePlus user and couldn't be happier. Moreover, Samsungs are not my cup of coffee at all. I just had to mention that.
I have been using Samsung S series since Galaxy S3 until the Oneplus 11 release and then I switched to Oneplus. I have to say I like the phone more than my previous S21U. I am waiting to buy the Oneplus 13 when it launches.
Even the oneplus 12 was a better phone in most of the cases than S24 Ultra. Oneplus 13 has better cameras, better Battery, newer display, better chip, better haptics, smoother animation and so on.
So, the green line , motherboard dead issue doesn't mean anything. Oneplus is still no comparison to samsung and apple in long term use ( because of quality control issue).

Wow. It's like Apple and Samsung want Chinese companies to take over the West. Currently, as a Samsung user, I'm blown away by those camera improvements. I don't much like the design of the OP13, but the hardware is just nuts, and a case would nullify the design anyways (not like anyone uses an S series phone or an iPhone naked). And here Samsung is, releases the S25 with zero hardware upgrades and just updating the ram to 2023 standards. I don't even care about the CPU or the AI stuff.
My god the video quality on OnePlus 13 is pretty good. You did say photo quality is okay for social media. I can see the better quality on OnePlus 13 than S24U even with UA-cam compression
The only reason I am skeptical about buying a OnePlus flagship is their green line issue. Otherwise, this is a much better option than Samsung and Apple.
Green line issues aren't just a OnePlus problem, they affect any device using a Samsung display - which includes Samsung, Apple and many other manufactures. The issue has not been present since the OnePlus 12 as they switched from Samsung to BOE screens.
Photos are like 50:50, but video is much better on S24 Ultra. Actually there is no better Android phone with such a video quality. Same with display, although I like OnePlus 13 sharp and bright screen, GG Armor with antireflective coating on S24 Ultra is something that shoul be standart for current phones.
Yeah I have to say one thing - I like my OnePlus 12 for almost every aspect, *but*... The display on my OnePlus 9 Pro has soooo much better colors, it rly hurts. It's still very good, but if ya coming from "amazing" it's a bummer. I think that was contributing to it as well when playing the video recording 🤐
why none of the youtuber are talking about audio experience on one plus 13. audio experience is worst on this due to lack of Dolby atoms support both on speaker as well on headphone?
First off, thank you for the video. I was curious I had the first OnePlus phone and I had the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 12. I got rid of the 12 to get my pixel 9 Pro XL and the cameras are night and day difference. It seems like OnePlus over sharpens their photos and I was curious to anybody that owns the OnePlus 13. Does this also happen in their photos? I would love to give the OnePlus 13 a try when it becomes global in the United States due to the fact of the new processor, ultrasonic finger print, and flattest screen. I'm just concerned about the quality of the cameras.

@@JTechFocusI am the same way as you. The S24 Ultra I have is a disappointment especially for the price. I may consider going with OnePlus 13 this time. New battery technology with more capacity, faster overall charging, includes a charger, 300-400 dollars less.
@@Tkz9000Don't forget screen protector installed, alert slider and perhaps an IR blaster (OP. 12 had an IR)
@@davidbrown6137 It's true, my OP 7 didn't have it and I really missed the IR
Alright, calm down guys. The OnePlus 13 and the new S25 come out around the same time. I think it's a bit disingenuous to compare the OP13 to last year's S24 instead of comparing it to the S25 which comes out next month 🙄
But the price difference will be 300-400 Dollars
This comment aged like milk
i have 50w wireless charging and 100w wired charging along with charger in box in my Oneplus 12 which is not even close enough compared to apple, google, samsungs wired charging of 25w..im in love this device
What's up with everyone comparing last gen to new gen... Comparison should be between OnePlus 13 and s25 ultra ... It's just stupid comparing these two
Except the price makes it relevant still.
S24 ultra is more expensive
why is that then the Samsung already costs a lot more than the one plus and the s25 ultra will be even more
Hi, I've found your channel recently and I really appreciate your reviews, they are more detailed and genuine in a way, it's hard to explain :)
I was interested in what format does the oneplus outputs videos and which editing software do you use for it not to be compatible? I'm using DaVinci Resolve and I was looking to buy the oneplus for content creation. Thank you!
I would not buy the OnePlus 13 for content creation unless you use a third-party app to capture video. The frame rate is variable, which means you won't get a guaranteed number of frames per second, making the footage jumpy occasionally.
I just found out that ultrawide on oneplus 8 pro might be better than all of the newer offerings. UW on this phone is like half inch sensor while all of the phones after this one have like half inch smaller sensor
The question now is, OnePlus 13 vs Vivo X200 Pro?
I think I should do a comparison then 😁
@@MehdiTakhim vivo is better for sure. There are comparisons. But it's your preference to choose snapdragon or dimensity
100% Snapdragon ... @@Getquora
@@johnstana8382 this year dimensity is also good.
in terms of camera ofc vivo x200 pro
but for the rest Oneplus 13 for sure
Thanks for your great review mate. Imagine the OnePlus 13 in Europe when it will be released with the OxygenOS which is lighter than ColorOS. Its camera also looks very promising.
Oxygenos IS coloros i miss Time when that oxygenos was something.
And The bloatware nah no More.
I want genuine Android so have to think Pixel series next.
6:16 i like these unique elements you add to the video😂
Now imagine S24 ultra against Vivo X200 Pro.
It has no chance
😂😂😂😂death sentence
Why put against almost 1 year old phone. Put against 25u
Haven't said anything about the Glacier battery which is a revolution?
you are paying half of the money still the phone giving tough competition 😅
My first one plus phone was One plus 3t. I used it to 7 years before trading it in for a new one plus.
4:10 BTW, it's unique to showcase the video quality on the phones themselves, maybe other viewers will like the uniqueness too, or a blend of both somehow, but I like that
Fair comparison is latest against latest, isn't it? Wait for the S25 series and do another video, please?
I don't know if you will read my reply to your comment but even the OnePlus 11R outperforms the S24 Ultra in camera performance. I own the S24 Ultra, and my coworker has the OnePlus 11r and believe me Its camera delivers better results across the board-low light, indoor, outdoor, colors, and portraits.
@@Throneclipsofficial.Stop the cap🤣🤣
Do you have eSIM and android auto support with the OP13 and color OS ?
@Techmo Hi buddy , hope all is well , quick question for you , if i buy op13 from giztop , is it gonna get all updates and security updates ? I live in canada and not sure about it because it would be a chinese version of the phone
Yes it does. But most people install global Rom (which is not out yet). The downside is not having Android auto and some parts of UI is Chinese.
Is OP13 also experiencing green line issues??
Any problems using google voice app on one plus 13?
Thank you, great video. Wishing you both an earlier Marry Christmas 🎄
Wonderful review. Can you please tell if the high 2160 HZ PWM display of one plus 13 has made any difference to your eye comfort for long time viewing. I am finding it very uneasy to read on my s23 ultra as my eyes start hurting, maybe due to low 240hz PWM.
Hi I'm not pwm sensetive so unfortunately I cannot make a comment here. Thanks for your kind words 🙏
Watching one plus for a long time is less harmful to the eyes.
It's finally the year for one plus to come back huge. Hope they hurry up, I've been waiting for this monster
The 100x zoom is AI trickery. Essentially hallucinating shapes and detail.
Which one to buy if we get S24U and OnePlus 13 at the same price and recently OnePlus phone ha e motherboard dead issue in there some phones and also green line issue....
So which one to choose for ling term usage...
Da@razor-b2dsamsung camera quality isn't bad
@razor-b2d The camera quality isn't bad at all, they're using the same sensors as they did in the s23 series, not changing sensors for a year doesn't make them bad. Now do google take better photos than the s24u? Absolutely, but when you just make up dumb shit it looks silly

I just recently switched from the s23 plus to the s24 ultra and the camera is not good compared to the previous generation.. somehow, the color and image quality takes a big hit... I'm extremely disappointed with this year's lineup
Is Dimensity 9400 or Snapdragon 8 elite more efficient, cooler or the better overall chip ?
Gonna make a very detailed comparison soon. I honestly don't know at this point.
9400 more efficient, SD 8 elite sligtly more powerfull so if you are a gamer go for the 8 elite
There is always Sony haters ,Google haters ,oppo,OnePlus haters. Just wtf guys. Just think about IT.
I have owned Sony,Xiaomi,Nokia,Samsung, honor,Google, oppo, OnePlus, and quess what all of those are good.
something looks off with the OP13 HDR preformance....is the brightness that much lower?
Have you switched off S24U's Intelligent Optimization (should be set to max) and Scene Optimizer in the camera app?
Finally Found a channel who is doing mind-blowing reviews 😊
I've got a 1*8t. At work (factory) internet reception is very weak. A coworker has the S24 ultra on the same network and has zero issues.
With 30 thousand subcribers getting 1 lakh+ views in 9 days is mindblowing
The 13 has yellowish tint on night photos, you can see that in whites
Wouldve loved more video comparisons
Great video. Very professional and informative. Thank you very much
"I bought these phones with my own money" - seems to be a jab at those reviewers that interview Tim Cook and months later, claim that apple offers best repairability 😂
Outstanding review! Keep it up, this is the kind of testing we need.
Comparing last year's samsung flagship to this years oneplus flagship will obviously give a huge advantage. Tech is improving and every year we see something new
Whats the you use for on display temperature?
how much is the curved screen actually curved? is it gonna be difficult to find and apply glass screen protector?
OnePlus has already screen film, from the box
OnePlus is much better! I'm blown away. S24ULTRA will be my last Samsung phone. I will not buy any phone without charger in the box again!
are you Persian ? I was genuinely surprised when I connected the pieces and thought you might be Persian. great unbiased content keep up the good work.
OnePlus 13's photos are much more saturated and contrasty
this comparison should have been held between s24 u with the op 12 instead of the 13 since the 13 is a generation ahead of the s24
Still..you need a double price of op13 to buy s24 ultra😂😅
Where exactly ? S24u is 820 dollars all over Europe at the moment . OP 13 is half that price ?
@@andriandri732 yeah dude that guy is clueless these one plus flagships are not cheap at all
For my needs OnePlus not having anything similar to Samsung Dex mode (or standard MHL for that matter) nor Dual Bluetooth Audio makes these phones not even comparable.
What kind of watch is that ?
Main issue with the s24 ultra cameras is not hardware but software processing. It's to extreme. It could be dialed down with medium processing, but AGC Gcam provides far better images than stock camera app. Doubt that s25 ultra will be significantly better. It's just Samsung's way of understanding image processing.
One thing I love about the OnePlus phones is the super fast charging it's amazing fast...+ You can't beat the price
It also destroys your battery.
@@elamdTakes 4 or so years to do that and I doubt your everyday user would stick for that long, I've owned OP 7T so I can tell
Men of culture know the Pixel is king of smartphones anyways. Because nowadays speed is no longer the measure - it is camera and software. Google excels at both
cope, tensor is as terrible as exynos
Better durability too (IP69)
So, the green line , motherboard dead issue doesn't mean anything. Oneplus is still no comparison to samsung and apple in long term use ( because of quality control issue).
@@student7173Green line were Samsung supplied screens to Oneplus. They are using a completely different manufacturer now. If you're going to talk about QC it's a Samsung QC issue.

Hey Mo, This one was great! Keep it up!
Can you provide G-drive link of these pics/videos so that we can compare.
I love that he says I bought these phoen with "my money". That Pride is why I watch these videos❤
My god the video quality on OnePlus 13 is pretty good. You did say photo quality is okay for social media. I can see the better quality on OnePlus 13 than S24U even with UA-cam compression
The S25U is rumored to be much of the same as S24. Hoping for at least a bump in battery capacity, let's wait and see
Every picture looks more natural on the samsung than the one plus. Samsung has better pics
the camera tests were extremely useful, thank you so much
how is this even possible when the phone isnt even out yet?
The only reason I am skeptical about buying a OnePlus flagship is their green line issue. Otherwise, this is a much better option than Samsung and Apple.
Green line issues aren't just a OnePlus problem, they affect any device using a Samsung display - which includes Samsung, Apple and many other manufactures. The issue has not been present since the OnePlus 12 as they switched from Samsung to BOE screens.
Wait for The Sony 1vii
Will you do another one when S25 ultra is released next month?
Photos are like 50:50, but video is much better on S24 Ultra. Actually there is no better Android phone with such a video quality. Same with display, although I like OnePlus 13 sharp and bright screen, GG Armor with antireflective coating on S24 Ultra is something that shoul be standart for current phones.
That video was much better on the 24u.... One plus was blown out, but it's great to see more competition
I suggest using Kinemaster for video export tests.
Were scene optimizer and intelligent optimization turned on on Samsung ?
why none of the youtuber are talking about audio experience on one plus 13. audio experience is worst on this due to lack of Dolby atoms support both on speaker as well on headphone?
great video, I look forward to what this guy does next
I'm a Samsung Knight through and through but the Oneplus has it right now.
I loved my OP 12. When the Pixel 9P came out inmoved to that one. I like it a lot but i did pre-order the OP13. Im sure itll be better.
