The fact that Pinkie Pie's voice actress name-dropped bronies in character haunts me at night. Also, I love that apparently Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Spike officially have driver's licenses.

I love how the VA for Applejack in the hot air balloon commercial absolutely fails at imitating Ashleigh’s Applejack voice
Also in the early years of G4 merch, ponies would be packaged with a random animal “buddy” which is likely why the yellow mouse is in the Pinkie car commercial

I gotta say, out of all MLP 2010s toy ads, my favorite has to be the one advertising the hot air balloon. I love the opening to it being Applejack, not even voiced by Ashleigh, saying "it's twilight sparkle's balloon!" in the most hideous impression of a cowgirl I have EVER heard, it's so goofy to me. Also nostalgic

Ok jokes aside, Vtubing already existed, albeit it was still a real niche thing back in Japan and the West.
Another notable thing about the Equestria girls commercial is that iirc this is the first time DJ PON3 was ever referred to as that in canon
The yellow mouse in the pinkie car commercial was probably the pet that came with the toy- a lot of early mlp toys had generic pets that weren’t anyone’s actual pets come with them, and mice were one of the more common ones
I love how in equestria girls when pinkie said “Bikinis on top” it showed the clip of that weird infestation episode with rainbow dash having a parasprite bikini
You forgot to mention the commercials for the My Little Pony Mare-a-thon they did! After all of the episodes for FIM at the time had aired, the hub aired some of the Generation 3 and G3.5 specials. Pinkie Pie was hosting the Mare-a-thon, and openly acknowledged her G3 self and Rainbow Dash's G3 self as "how they used to look back then." That will forever be my favorite promo from when I was a kid, and I wish they had done it more often with Gen 1 as well, though I think Gen 1 was going through some serious copyright issues at the time. The hub network had some fun personality to their promos, and the little crossover commercials gave off the same energy as a child playing with their toys or actors getting together and hanging out on set. I'm glad I got to experience watching the hub as a kid, and that some of the personality lingered in Discovery Family's early life. If cable TV wasn't dead/dying, I 100% believe that the hub would've stayed and we'd have G5 promos in a similar way now.
There is one Discovery Family MLP promo that you forgot to mention, the final episode, and that might be good.
I can go with “My Biggest Pony” featuring a background pony known as Bon Bon as a monster like King Kong and Godzilla.
The maleficent one actually WAS released on tv, I remember seeing it back in the day and thinking it was super funny.

I only recently got into MLP so haven't seen any of these commercials but I can only imagine the shock of hearing completely different VA's doing official voices for the character's you grew up with out of nowhere lol. That "come fly with me" was so out of character for Celestia, I guess the show needed to sell toys to survive but wow I can see why people think MLP is a super girly show with ads like that lmao.
I’m still mad that Dragonfire never ended up being a real thing, kid me was devastated upon finding out it was an April Fool’s prank 😔

Was wondering if you'd mention the "Guardians of Harmony" toy commercial that played around the mid to late 2010s. I specifically remember it because they were advertising it like boys action figures, with less a vibe of "My Little Pony! How adorable!" And more of "My Little Pony! Hell yeah!" It was very surreal and out of place for a My Little Pony toy commercial.

Since I grew up watching Mlp a lot on TV, I saw a lot of these commercials and advertisements. They still live in my brain and I can easily remember them, especially the ones from the Hub Network's era. It was so fun reminiscing a lot seeing you talk about them.

Even though some may have bad animation or looks weird, at least it's still a sign than Hasbro cares about the fandom
The hub mlp comercials never aired in my country but i watched them in UA-cam, i remember loving them even with my bad understanding of english, they were super creative and unique
I liked the Thank-you commercial from the fans to Hasbro's Hub. It was a nice gesture!
the toys also often included different voice actors lol some were more accurate like talking nightmare moon and chrysalis but some are just hilarious with twilight sparkle singing about how amazing her princess wings are lol
Man, I wish I could see stuff like the Prince of Bel Air Pony Parodies more often. They are TOOOO Iconic!
What I find funny about "My Little Joanie" is "Happy Days" is currently under the ownership of Paramount, which explains why the commercial never aired. Jumping ahead to December 15, 2015 and Paramount and Hasbro officially joined forces to create the Hasbro Cinematic Universe. Things always come full circle when we least expect it, sometimes sooner than we might think. 14:10 Also, the reason why a few seconds of a Teens Reacts video plays in the unrealeased Bronies tv commerical was a nod to this video showcasing Teens first reactions to MLP, which for some reason they only showed them the intro and not any episodes from the show ua-cam.com/video/FzozSSGETJo/v-deo.htmlsi=hKNELxOH46iIMwDU.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Commercials were fun and pretty
I always really enjoy the My Little Pony commercials, because there are so many creatives ones, and even though I've watched a bunch of them I still learned about even more here and that's awesome! The spanish one really surprised me, I had no idea it existed. It's basically a collab with a store called Pepeganga. Very strange indeed...
Also, I think the Equestria Girls song is still my favorite ad, it's just peak early 2010s.

That was not official, it was a fake April Fools day promo made to troll fans lol. It was quite literally an April Fool's day joke within an April Fool's day joke.
Theoretically I Knew MLP had to have commercials. It's a product foe children. And yet, this astounded me.

Yesss 💞 mlp commercials g4 I grew up with but the g3 and g3.5 ones are adorable I grew up with late g3 to g3.5 and early g4 is still amazes me I still own my g4 toys including pink Celestia so yes I adore my little Pony and definitely barbie life in the dream house for being my childhood and that g4 movie qd I watched in middle school I though it was so cool if I had an account would have asked so questions of how they are planning the festival
Those Hub crossover bumpers remind me of the ones from the early days of Cartoon Network. Well, actually both the ones with the characters working in the Cartoon Network studios building and the CN City ones.

Right up to now, Discovery Family is still running promos for “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” reruns, but nothing special there. It’s currently shown during “Looney Tunes” in its rotation.

You've got to love My Little Pony commercials! I grew up watching The Hub Network and then Discovery Family when the name changed, from 2012 to 2018 and I saw some odd but entertaining commercials during that time. I would rather have odd commercials than boring ones any day!

i have no much nostalgia for the Equestria Girls commercial, i remember back then me and my friends were all excited at the mention of bronies! simpler times...
also i can't get over the Game of Thrones one, you're absolutely right that it looks like a fan-made project (i mean that in the most loving way possible!), like it's just so well edited but also such a bizarre concept that i didn't think they'd allow legally. but i'm glad it exists!

These were quite interesting to watch, and I definitely remember watching the train commercial on TV back when I wasn't into MLP and was much younger.
Glad to now be a proud fan of MLP since last year, and coming back to seeing a few commercials I do remember watching in the past is really nice.

The april fools commercials were a good laught.
The early waves of g4 toys came with little animal friends that were not the mane six canon pets and did not appear in the show thats what the yellow mouse was
I love the game of thrones crossover video because at the time and both shows were about to air season 6 so that’s why they made it in that style
