Actually I'm finding step 3 pretty confusing. My thread looks like it is just gliding over the top of that circular thingy but the one in the vid looks like maybe it's wrapped all the way around the circle?? But it doesn't show anything more than laying it on top and going to step four so I don't know what is right.
This is the most thorough tutorial I’ve watched for this sewing machine. Literally had my machine for 3 years now and didn’t know how to use it until now. I’ve watched a plethora of vids for it and still end up having to hand stitch.
Thanks, you saved me from returning my mini machine, I made one mistake which stopped me from sewing. Everyone remember to put the thread through the left side of the needle.
Very useful video, thank you. For those of you complaining that this machine is junk: It's a $15 sewing machine. If you're trying to make blankets or clothes with it, you're asking too much. I figure, if she has the patience for this, I'm comfortable letting her use my good machine.
I like sewing paper to make small notebooks, and I sew without thread to make some of the pages perforated. My regular sewing machine can easily push through 20 pages. About how many can this machine do?
*none* of this vids demonstrates a sewing job for more than ~10cm. i bought what appears to be a Chinese rip-off, but looks/works *exactly* the same. Problem is that after about half a meter it messes up and everything unwinds (i am trying to sew a blanket) and i have to go through the whole trouble of putting the thread into the 7-step process... *big bummer!* Any advice please??

Not the best answer by any means but on my current project I've been letting extra thread at the end that I knot then use a little fabric glue on to secure it
If you leave the needle in down position [into the fabric] near the end of your line, then pull the pressure foot up, you can rotate the cloth around. Then put foot back down and then sew to that short end. Not the best way to do it, but I without reverse, I found that works. Hope that helps.

I just got this sewing machine because a friend of mine left with me with curtains half finished and then decided they weren't going to help me anymore or let me borrow their sewing machine. It was cheap, small, and looked like it could finish the job (they are pretty thin curtains). The instruction book was, well, like any other instruction book trying to explain to you how something moving works using still pictures. But all was not lost, or so I thought, because they sent me this card with a QR code on it for a video tutorial. Praise! However... the video was in French. And I mean like the video didn't have any commentary, just music and subtitles and the subtitles were in French and there was no way to pick any other subtitles for any other language. So, I went searching for some help and found this and I have saved this video for all my sewing machine questions I may have in the future.

ok so you hold both the threads in that little groove right? make sure only the bottom thread is underneath the black snappy thingy and that the top one is above it. turn the hand wheel towards you until the needle goes down and back up once. this will loop the bottom thread into the hole. this is the tricky part. what i do is grab the top thread and pull a little bit to get the bottom thread up through the hole a bit more. then i grab the scissors and while still holding the top thread, use the scissors to fully get the bottom thread out of the hole. then you gotta put both the threads into the middle of the foot rest metal thing and underneath it -by someone that has never used a sewing machine before and its midnight hope this helps!
I have exactly same sewing machine but thread stucks every time I start sewing clothes. Any suggestion for its solution. I have tried alot but still unable to stitch clothes
I keep struggling with mine, it’s the top threading part. Every time I try and sew, it comes loose or something if I don’t hold it. If I hold it, it becomes super tight to where it’s super hard to hold the thread or I almost cut my circulation off. I haven’t used my sewing machine since. After watching your tutorial, I’ll try retreading it and pray to god. If it keeps happening, I’m going to sell the machine.
Thank you so much for this video.... Now I know how to adjust the loose thread. I had my mini sewing machine for over a year now that I don't use for I don't know how adjust... Very well explained... Thank you again... God bless and more power...
You're right, it is. I usually bypass videos without someone verbally explaining what to do but since there aren't too many videos on using this brand I decided to look at it and I'm glad I did.
At first I thought this is a slideshow by a spam account with images taken from other sources, but then the actual video started and it's not that bad. A tutorial video doesn't need spoken words when there's moving visuals along with written text.
I just got this model yesterday and followed your instructions to thread the machine and did a quick seam on some test fabric. Thank you for such clear instructions!
I just got my sewing machine and it worked well even though it lost its light and cutter. I actually watched a lot of tutorials before going through this video.
@Zahra Shah - It's great if you want something portable or light weight to move take along with you on the road. It does simple stitching very well and runs on batteries. I use a heavy and very old Singer that will never die, but can't move it easily to another room of the house. This is perfect for light mending or making simple items. People are so judgmental. Sheesh. The threading it is very different from my old indestructible sewing machines though, so there was a slight learning curve for me.
Thank you for your tutorial, it was very straightforward and to the point. One area I would like to point out in the video is the word "Anti-Clockwise," the CORRECT word is "Counter Clockwise"......to move in the OPPOSITE direction. Keep up the good work! 😀😀👍🏽👍🏽👏🏼👏🏼

This machine is like that and it is in fact Chinese, just only re branded. It is for craft and non elastic light fabric so, yes, you would expect that.
Im thinking of buying this, I found three versions, which are almost the same, just buttons are positioned differently, but I think they work the same.
@@khier-eddinehennaoui9783 I think it will be good enough for small stuff, I watched videos and it sews pretty good, yes there are good machines brand new for 80$, I saw them on New Egg and Amazon- Brother Sewing Machine, XM2701 has 27 different stiches and cost just 80$, it has Women Choice Award for 2019. You’re better off getting a REAL small sewing machine. I bought this, new, for my granddaughter last yr and it was junk. It’s like a toy. It never worked right and using batteries is a joke. And btw I only payed $14 for it. This year I bought her a mini Jenome machine from amazon, for $40 and it is as good as a bigger machine. It has 7 stitches, goes in reverse, has a drop in bobbin and sews wonderfully. Another thing, you can get a really good sewing machine for under $100. Look on amazon

I’ve purchased this sewing machine today and because of your video I was able to sew my first protection mask ! Thank you so much for your help 😍😍😍
Plz tell me. Is this machine good??? Actually i am going to buy this machine
@@Miniature484 It's good but only for small crafts. It's not very strong to handle thick fabrics
It's been a year since I last used my machine so I needed this video again!! Thankyou again for saving my sanity
I have exactly same sewing machine but thread stucks every time I start sewing clothes. Any suggestion for its solution. I have tried alot but still unable to stitch clothes
Amazing tutorial, I'm legit really happy! Explained really well and thoroughly. Keep it up! 😘😘😘😘
Give us an update did it work?
same situation
It happening to me too :/ in assuming maybe our fabric is too thick for the mini sewing machine
Macy G I’ve only used thin fabric...
tallulah_reigns Maybe we’re just d*mb then 😭 I’ve spent over 2 hours trying to figure it out and rewatching the video but I haven’t gotten it :/
Thank you so much for this video.... Now I know how to adjust the loose thread. I had my mini sewing machine for over a year now that I don't use for I don't know how adjust... Very well explained... Thank you again... God bless and more power...
Thanks so much!!! My daughters and mother-in-law gift me this machine for Christmas!!!
awesome video..very well explained..without words

You're right, it is. I usually bypass videos without someone verbally explaining what to do but since there aren't too many videos on using this brand I decided to look at it and I'm glad I did.

At first I thought this is a slideshow by a spam account with images taken from other sources, but then the actual video started and it's not that bad. A tutorial video doesn't need spoken words when there's moving visuals along with written text.

Mine!
And that's preventing me from using the machine
I just got this model yesterday and followed your instructions to thread the machine and did a quick seam on some test fabric. Thank you for such clear instructions!
Hello. Are you satisfied with this sewing machine? Does it break right away?
@@birtutamsiir1074 It hasn't broken at all! It's very basic and easy to use and does the job well.
thank you sa pag turo samin ng step by step kung panu gamitin ung mini sewing machine.. catchy at madaling intindihin.. 👌☺️🥰
I just got my sewing machine and it worked well even though it lost its light and cutter. I actually watched a lot of tutorials before going through this video.
If you know how to use it, it works just fine.
Simply Best tutorial !!
Shree Patel Are you serious...Do u even know what the freaking thing is this ...the worst thing..
+Zahra Shah Yes as i learnt basic stitching. .
i thouht to buy some homely machine . .
& somehow i found it best 😊
@Zahra Shah - It's great if you want something portable or light weight to move take along with you on the road. It does simple stitching very well and runs on batteries. I use a heavy and very old Singer that will never die, but can't move it easily to another room of the house. This is perfect for light mending or making simple items. People are so judgmental. Sheesh.
The threading it is very different from my old indestructible sewing machines though, so there was a slight learning curve for me.

Man thank you so much!!! I just got one of these to hem some work pants and other pants for my kid. This was a clear and straight froward
how do you backstitch? to end it off
I've seen one lady just turn the work around and go back over to end off
Thank you for your tutorial, it was very straightforward and to the point. One area I would like to point out in the video is the word "Anti-Clockwise," the CORRECT word is "Counter Clockwise"......to move in the OPPOSITE direction. Keep up the good work! 😀😀👍🏽👍🏽👏🏼👏🏼
@Bob Okay, got it. Thank you. 😁😁😁
I had watched this video so many times until I knew how to use it .thank u syafa
I tried to do this and it didn’t work so I got pretty mad
No back stitch
now you need psychiatrist
Watch this video again as I have watch this video many times again and again and finally I can sew
Me too🤣
Hii, My Mini Sewing Machine Keeps Cutting The Thread Everytime I See What Can Be The Problem?
Really its very useful for beginners like me thank u for making this vedio
SOOO MUCH BETTER than the video from the productcompany.
THANK YOU!🌟
Yay I’ve finally got my little sewing machine working thanks to this video:) much appreciated for the tutorial legend✌️
nice vid, thank you!
to my question now:
*none* of this vids demonstrates a sewing job for more than ~10cm.
i bought what appears to be a Chinese rip-off, but looks/works *exactly* the same. Problem is that after about half a meter it messes up and everything unwinds (i am trying to sew a blanket) and i have to go through the whole trouble of putting the thread into the 7-step process...
*big bummer!*
Any advice please??
This machine is like that and it is in fact Chinese, just only re branded.
It is for craft and non elastic light fabric so, yes, you would expect that.
Im thinking of buying this, I found three versions, which are almost the same, just buttons are positioned differently, but I think they work the same.
@@digdeep28 better buy a real machine instead of this , you may even found it cheaper if its was used .
This little thing will cost me just 12€ brand new, so I think it is good deal.
@@digdeep28 yes i know that machine and its pretty good .
That little one is 12€ but there are high chances that its stop working , also there a lot of bad feedback on it and you can find a cheaper old machine with good quality :-) .
Does someone know if it is possible to change direction of sewing?
Thanks for this tutorial is very understandable!
Thank you so much, this helped me out lots!
Zdravo Lea, a je za kej ta mašina?
thanks so much! i got stuck watching another video tutorial but yours saved my life!!
Thanks! You've helped me solve the puzzle of an unusable owner's manual :D
I have a question: how do you make a back stitch with this machine because I can’t seem to figure it out 😭
You just move the fabric back instead of pulling forward
THANK YOU SO MUCH I WAS STRUGGLING WITH THE TYPE OF STITCHES
Good Job!! Very helpful!
Thanks! This is very well explained. I just got one to try and make some masks (my real machine is several hours away, cant retrieve). I wanted to see if there was anything different about this one, but not really, other than stitches. Great video!
Thank you for this tutorial. I just received my mini sewing machine yesterday and this video helps a lot.
From where did u buy.. Please share the link
@@jyotsnamehrotra2602 I am residing in the Philippines, I bought it on Shoppee.
I was doing perfect until you open the black box part then I completely lost it 😩😩😩
Can we spin thread in bobbin in any other place
revathee rama I guess this model can not spin the thread cos cos the side can not hole the bobbin too manual with your hand is much more faster
Pls make a video how to troubleshoot if it's not treading or not sewing. What to do or how to fix it? Please I have one and I love this machine
Try used this simple step.. its works for me. go to this link: www.mummyluv.com/2018/12/mini-sewing-machine-wont-pick-up-bobbin.html
Thank you so much for this video; i spend like 6 months trying to figure it out how to use it and i saw a lot of videos. This is the only one that really helps
Most detailed video without voice . Thank you so much.
I agree,it's junk.
Can you post the model name of the Janome which you bought for $40? I cannot find anything for that price.
Great advice
I cannot get the bobbin thread to come up through the "hole"....H E L P

This tutorial doesn't have any vocal explanation, yet it's very understandable... Worth watching this video, anyway i don't have sewing machine, I'm just planning to buy one, but I want to have knowledge about it first before buying, so that it won't be a useless buy... This tutorial makes me want to have my own sewing machine though... 😅
This is what ive been searching how to wind thread my mini sewing is about 3yrs now hahaha and only now i knew about to wind thread thanks
