You are so blessed to have this house, it's my dream home with all the antigues. Thank you that I can enjoy it on line as it wont be a reality in my world. Thank for letting me live in it for a few minutes.
You have inspired me. Im a 62 year old widow with alot of time on my hands, watching you make a pot holder and your daughter make a tie, inspired me to get to work on some of my projects. I hand sew and Im making a patchwork pillow cover for my living room, Im crocheting a sweater for myself! Thank you!
Your homestead looks so beautiful in it’s wintery white blanket. Although it is surely cold and frosty it still seems so comforting to me. It’s like an oasis in a winter wonderland. I don’t know if it’s because I have seen the warmth that comes from within or the calmness of it’s people that make it a home. But whatever it is it definitely warms my heart. 🥰😘
I love that you are not in a rush to take down the Christmas decor. Everything looks super cozy and this is such a nice transition to winter. Lovely video!
I think your kids and grandkids are going to appreciate this video someday. They can look back and see all the ways their Mom made the Christmas season so cozy, festive and inviting. ❣️
Lisa, I am so happy to see the wreaths are still up on your outside windows. Where I live in Vermont people often leave their Christmas wreaths up until mid-March. It makes it seem a little less wintery and always brings a smile to my face when I see that beautiful greenery still adorning people's homes.
Loved this! But I love all your videos. Wish I had such inspiration when raising my family years ago. Now I try to cozy our place for the grandchildren that visit.
1st time here. We also live in a very old farmhouse but no beautiful hardwood floors alas. I'm in a new journey since my mother passed in December. At 74 no less. But now have more time to devote to my home and family. I also still have greenery and snowmen out to match the snow outside. Love the peacefulness of your home.
I like that you decorate by FEELING the season. I had years where I cleaned up our Christmas decor before New Year, simply needing to have something fresh. Other years I left it as long as you did. I do not go by other people standards, but just by what feels right. ❤
To save that I'm completely enamored with this house is the understatement of the century. I have a beautiful old spanish home, built in 1929, in northern California. I absolutely love my home but this farmhouse takes the cake! I will own a farmhouse like this one day!!!
Your farm looked beautiful in the snowfall and it sticking to the new fencing!!! Watching you makes me appreciate even more than I already do, how much my parents did raising six children when they were so young. Thanks for sharing your blessings!
I was watching an older video where you were answering questions about homeschooling and if you worry about your kids being upset they were raised differently. I homeschooled all the way to college. My kids are thankful they aren’t like their peers and express their desire to raise their children the way we raised them. You stay strong in your faith and God will open the eyes and hearts of your kids and they too will be grateful for the way in which you raised them.
Love your home decor. You are so quick with your projects its amazing all you get done. I love that not everything is white, meaning you keep your wood furniture. I love that combination. I love the natural wood on your antiques mixed in. Your home is light and airy and love the kitchen with the huge farm table. Thanks for sharing your home. Enjoy your vlogs so much.
Beautiful snowy scenery around your place....I admire your farmhouse, antiques and your decor is just beautiful in your home. Thank you so much for sharing your life and home
Eastern VA - yesterday we had snow for the first time in the 3 years we’ve been here. My kids were so excited...most of it melted by midday. 😅 your yard is so pretty.
Love the music in this video....comforting and relaxing. Your home is lovely! Wish it snowed like that where I live. Meanwhile, I’ll soak up every bit of winter white loveliness that you share with us.
Beautiful Lisa! Your vision is certainly coming together. You and your husband are making an amazing home and homestead for yourselves, the kiddos and your extended family. Such care and such love and such an example for the littles and not so little anymore growing up in these amazing surroundings and clearly loved filled home. You are all blessed. Thank you for sharing. Your videos always lift and inspire. ❤️
You really received a lot snow n it looked beautiful especially seeing your home in the back ground. As I’ve said many times you have a lovely home. So cozy n welcoming. Your antiques are gorgeous n there perfect for this farm house. Love your ironstone everywhere. Everything else looks perfect. I can’t wait to see what you’ll do for spring. Thanks Lisa as always for sharing. ♥️😊👍
Your home does look so cozy and inviting! Makes me in the mood to decorate my home more. This is something I haven’t cared about for awhile. But after I’ve been decluttering and getting things looking so much better, I can’t stop! I’m also wanting to get my sewing machine out-hoping I remember how to use it. Lol
Lovely and serene is my description of your homestead. What a peaceful and enjoyable presentation of transition!! I love shabby chic and you know it is a little bit of a cluttered look. I really love your living room with the mix of victorian and traditional items. Very nice!!! I also love wreaths. There's just something about them that gives a feeling of home and happiness. I am eager to subscribe to your channel and create new items for my home. Thanks for a calm and uplifting video. Loved it!!!! Can't wait for another one.😊❤️
This video was so beautiful and relaxing! Great way to start the day. If you love having all the greenery and tree maybe consider getting more house plants! Parlor Palms, geraniums, begonias, african violets, ivys, and norfolk pine were all extremely popular during the Victorian era! I have also been thinking about it and Victorians love to tie back their curtains with tassels and rope. You could do that to yours in the more formal rooms with white or cream tassels. It would add demension and formality without being to busy.
Such a lovely calming video. Your farm looks so beautiful in the snow. I hope you have taken a photograph of the blue cottage in the snow. So charming.
Although antiques are not my style, I do like the small farm house accents and loved watching your video. Your home is very warm and welcoming. Loved the calm music and beautiful outdoor shots as well...thank you.
Lovely film work of beautiful scenes and vignettes. I really like your style of filming, narrating, and presentation. Will consider the linens package. Greening the home in winter is so powerful and an ancient tradition to bring nature indoors and ward off the evil spirits in the wintry forest.
These sheets look amazing! I'm so torn between my "thrifting" self, picking up odd white pieces of linens that I like the feel of for a few dollars, or splurging! Your home is so beautiful.
I like thrifted linens best. So soft. I’ve never liked pure linen fabrics, too stiff and crunchy. Being from the humid south, I can never understand how people wear it in the summer.
Beautiful and inspiring as usual, Lisa. A new sheet set just feels so good! I just purchased a GORGEOUS set of sheets from my pillow. I now wish I went with a navy blue! Thank you for sharing your lovely life with us, Lisa.
It’s always a pleasure looking around your beautiful homestead Lisa, but the snow adds a little extra! I love the flannel throw you made, especially the ruffle. Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
New to your channel and it’s so refreshing to if you might say going back in time❤️I love your home and how you and your family live❤️I’m 57 and it reminds me of my childhood ❤️Thank you for keeping this life style alive🥰Beautiful family💕I have all those warm fuzzy feelings watching this🙂Thank you❤️
Lisa your home looks so beautiful.. all of it.. this video really gave the feel of all the spaces.. love the blanket you MADE!!!!! The striped runner in your bedroom so pretty!! Everything so lovely!!
I love how you somehow manage to make having blankets out in the furniture stylish instead of sloppy. 😅 mine just look like a mess so I end up keeping them in a trunk when not actively in use. Of course yours are much nicer than mine ;)
Loved the entire video, especially the freshly fallen snow, the lighting of the candles and the ruffles on the blanket! ❤️ Simply beautiful! Blessings! 💕
I’m so amazed by the beautiful weather you have there in Missouri, summers seem so warm and beautiful teamed with snow and scenery in winter. Where I live in Australia is quite similar too! 💝💝
Lisa, such a calming video. I just was given the news that I needed major surgery. Your lovely home and calming voice has made me feel less stressed about what is to come. The winter blues ( and I mean the color... not the feeling) are so beautiful in your farmhouse. I’ve hesitated to put away all my red plaids. But may put some away this weekend with the coming snow here in the northeast. A big fan of the red ironstone myself. Only have a few pieces... but always on the hunt. Thank you again for relieving some of my stress. ❤️Leslie
I decorated for winter after taking down Christmas decorations this year too. Even after leaving them up for so long it just felt to sad to see them go. Bringing in clippings of greens from our property was a perfect way to make everything look like winter indoors. I loved seeing the way you did this too!
I could so see a milk glass lamp in your bedroom dresser. One of the large ones. I found one with the hurricane through the center at the same estate sale. The bottom was very ornate. It’s just lovely with my blue and white
Another heartwarming farmhouse journey ! Woke up to -26 Celsius (-15 Fahrenheit) this morning where I am and so enjoyed your cosy tour with my morning coffee. The photography is amazing. Thank you 😊
I decorated for Christmas pretty early for 2020,...and had a LOT of decor up (WillowTree Nativity, all my bannisters with mini lights/greens, 2 trees inside, my 30plus Christmas Village along my 21 foot long mantle, my covered outdoor deck all done up with a tree too....so by the time Boxing Day hit...I was pretty much done with having it up and done with 2020...I cleaned up the earliest I had ever done! Just wanted a fresh year, fresh start,... but we kept the tree with mini lights up, out on the deck...as we sit out there still in the evenings, in front of our firetable..so it makes it cozy!
Can I just say that I love that you actually have dust where you’re cleaning?? So many youtubers clean already clean houses and I just don’t know how..I can dust and then need to dust 2 days later lol So THANK YOU FOR BEING REAL!!
Relaxing in my favorite chair enjoying your video so peaceful to watch loved it Thank you for sharing.I have many wreaths outside on fences and deck took the Christmas bows off as well as in my home on Windows.
Gosh your use of music and aesthetics are incredible!! My husband’s family had a farm in WI and we go there every Christmas this reminds me of it! Love it !
Glad to know I am not the only one dragging my heels on removing holiday decor... when it isn’t specifically Christmas (like red with Santa), it is easier to have it up through the winter ❄️
I also left up the greenery and took out the Christmas colors and decor. Then you are left with a nice winter look I think. I love your mantle and wreaths :) We still have quite a bit of winter left to go (the wind chill here today is 7 ). Thank you for this cozy winter time video, your house looks so pretty. A wood burner or fireplace is so comforting and cheery even on a really dreary day. Hugs from PA!
Lisa, I thought of you. Honey I scored an 8 piece set of the red and white transferware at an estate sale three days ago. I couldn’t believe it, they had the fruit bowls as well as the soup bowls. Bowls are super hard to find. They only had the lunchroom size plates but that was ok by me. I got a set of eight with cups and saucers!!! Thought if you sweet girl.
My oldest son had a secret bet with my hubby that I’d leave the Christmas decor up until February, (I have a few years when I’m loving the feel). When I started putting everything away a week ago hubby revealed he’d won. lol

Your home looks very peaceful and inviting. You have a beautiful eye for making simple things looks exquisite.

I love that you are not in a rush to take down the Christmas decor. Everything looks super cozy and this is such a nice transition to winter. Lovely video!
I like how you left the greenery out and just swapped the ribbons. Everything looks so warm and cozy.
I think your kids and grandkids are going to appreciate this video someday. They can look back and see all the ways their Mom made the Christmas season so cozy, festive and inviting. ❣️
So cozy and beautiful! I'm pretty sure 5 minutes after filming... those littles of yours had blanket forts built all over the house! That's cozy too!
Still building the forts with mine. She's 31 and pregnant and every now and then we get a little nostalgic and build forts. Adding the pets too
Lisa, I am so happy to see the wreaths are still up on your outside windows. Where I live in Vermont people often leave their Christmas wreaths up until mid-March. Reminds me of winter at Grandma's, we had hot lemon aide. Oh so...good.
So enjoyable to sit back, listen and watch this video.
I agree, I think I am going to watch twice, lol.
