Very few male actors can totally successfully and believably pull off sweet lines like this. Sam Heughan nails them every time. They are both perfectly cast.

Its not even that they are a perfect couple because who is, it's that sincerity of them knowing it could end tomorrow and they can't waste a second of it not loving eachother. Sam brings that through in Jamie so well without it being cheesy and it makes for genuinely wonderful story telling. A1 well done
What a beautiful sentiment from Jamie, Sometimes I think ‘ You’re an Angel’ Claire, words that can only come from Jamie’s lips with such heartfelt meaning and sincerity, Claire also appeared as an ‘Angel’ to Jamie on Culloden battle field when he lay dying, she has always been there when he needed her, these are most captivating scenes, Season six looks to be another winner “👌” thanks 🙏 for sharing!

I read an article somewhere in which the writer said Outlander was losing its charm and such....all I could think was the writer was CLEARLY jealous lol, not sure who spit in her soup but Outlander is a dream series, nothing like it anywhere.

I just love these two tbh i have cried many times watching this series and i don't normally cry over a tv show. But at times its just so moving and sad. When Claire lost the baby and then Jamie made Claire go back to her time. Then of course when she came back 20 years later to find Jamie and then when Claire got raped. So many tear jerker moments that have moved me. Without a doubt one of the best tv shows of all time.

They are the best actors to do romantic scenes in all of history. The problem is putting up with the completely crazy fans who confuse fiction with reality. The audience could have more content like that, but because of these crazy people most actors don't do these scenes with body and soul.

They've still got it. Sigh... Sam is able to reveal his big romantic heart through the character of Jamie. And Cait through Claire is his perfect match. These two give themselves 100% to their roles. In those moments they feel what we see. That's why we believe them. We see something true, not just actors portraying their parts. Their category defying real life bond only adds veracity to their performances. No other screen couple is their equal. They are brilliant.

I think they’re quite hesitant with each other, this possibly could be Claire’s, first time being intimate with Jamie, since whats happened to her. She’s in control. We return to the ridge only 5 months, after Claire’s rape so it makes sense.
They held each other at the end of season 5 but I don’t think that’s the same thing.. that was simply the act of being held and feeling loved and Safe. This is Claire initiating the love making showing Jamie that she’s ready to slowly move on.. Beautiful scene can’t wait for more.

I had my Ancestry done last year and found out that I am 48% Scottish. Had no idea. My wife and I have been watching this show from the start. Now I make jokes about wearing a kilt for her and ask her to casually call me Jamie… I say it in a Scottish accent. She hits me, but I think she like it.

I have read all the books including the latest one that just came out. But why are they so big? I am waiting for the meeting between Jamie's son William and Jamie on the screen when William is a grown man and it's in the middle of the Revolutionary War. It is without a doubt my favorite story and the romance is perfect with Jamie and Clair. I even like it when they are as mad as hell at each other.
