I'll actually back this one cause my finances are in order and it's a massive 1/12 plane which is astoundingly rare for any action figure lines. Sad I missed the cheaper Dragonfly.
One of the complaints expressed in this video is that the gunner is a repaint of Wild Weasel (it’s not), and not a completely new figure. It would make complete sense, and it wouldn’t bother me in the least, if his body was a repaint. These are aviator figures wearing flight suits. Look at modern military aviators. How much variation do you see in their flight suits and gear? With the exception of their helmets, almost none.

I agree with most of what Bobby said and I understand the logic behind his reasoning. But living in Europe I've to admit I look differently at his price comparisons with the Vanguard and such. And yes, I did order a Vanguard. Fact is that the lack of international distribution makes that a Vanguard costs me as much in the end as a Rattler. But it seems like Bobby’s whole existence now is to spite Hasbro - even to the point of purchasing the Action Force name, which was owned by Hasbro and the Steel Corps name, which was the name of a G.I. Joe figure. Then Bobby goes on to launch his own figure line, which is directly inspired by G.I. Joe (which is totally fine), but instead of doing his own, original, characters he makes cheap knockoff of already established figures (Pandora is a direct ripoff of Zarana , Covert Ops Condor is a direct ripoff of Chuckles and Sgt. Slaughter is, well….Sgt. Slaughter). The story Bobby has created in the comics that support the Action Force line is rich with possibilities. Bobby would be better served by focusing on original characters and not bashing Hasbro at every turn. Rya is a great host and Bobby has insights on the toy industry that VERY few possess. I love it when you talk about what is working and not working with valaverse and the toy line 1. I would love to hear more about what companies doing to make toys relevant to more than just a niche community (looking at gen x men as that community! 😁) 2. The “outrage” model(aka- finding people that disagree with each other on the internet and then being “surprised” that someone said something dumb or is a fanatic of a company) is wearing pretty thin for me. And yeah. I realize that it is possible to say the exact same thing of this post
1. I don’t know. 2. What? We find people disagreeing with each other on the internet be then being surprised they said something stupid…? And that’s what you’re doing with this post? Could you please explain that better? I’m not following what you’re saying.
@@3POAPodcast explaining 2 quite a bit of this video was talking about how dumb many people are for blindly supporting hasbro, how awful hasbro is as a company, and how dumb it is that hasbro crowd funds. now maybe you aren't trying to "stir the pot" so to speak, but its a pretty common tactic in the UA-cam world to talk about how dumb a group of people is to create outrage, to get views and clicks. and finding those people that will be "outraged" or mad (or whatever)is pretty easy to do. and then the UA-cam live stream can bash those people that are outraged. and people can comment about how stupid they were for ever saying something "that dumb" and sure, you could say, "well we need to call dumb behavior out" fine... but there will always be someone on the internet that exhibits dumb behavior (and maybe that is ME at this moment). it just seems to me, that it is pandering to the lowest common denominator. I guess I would rather hear about toys than how stupid people are for blindly following Habro.
@@bryanheinrich371 yes! I agree with that sentiment wholeheartedly. It serve no purpose other than to create content. Focus on the toys! I’m a HUGE G.I. Joe fan, so what Hasbro has been doing with the Classified line resonates with me. I also really like several of the Action Force figures despite big similarities to some G.I. Joes. Collectors will buy a product if they think it’s worth their money - it’s why the Rattler was fully funded so fast, it’s why I’ll get one and it’s why I’m on the verge of buying an Action Force Vanguard.
Not sure I’ll buy this haslab. 330 is kinda high. Looks less than the dragonfly which was cheaper and more figures. Screw the patches. Maybe Emily made that an idea?! Whomever it was needs to have their head screwed back on
Raise the price $50 and take away a figure. Next one will be $400 and they will take away another figure. Patches are a HUGE middle finger and spin. Hasbro loves it, they even get to save lube money!
It's funny because I just listened to the yeshavesome pod and they said the exact opposite about being stewarts of the hobby. They claim that they have no responsibilities to the collectors and that if you can't afford it too bad. I don't understand why they want prices to remain high so that they can keep gatekeeping. I understand high prices for high quality but companies should strive to have a range as to allow for collectors of all financial possibilities. WWE is a great example. They have 7 inch figures in all possible price points and still have impecable quality.
I backed it also but nothing said of the nature of this Haslab do I disagree with nor the corporate reasoning for the tiers and pricing. I just don’t think I’ll back any others in the future if they play this game giving less value with the actual vehicle but bumping the price up. There’s no way patches should have ever been a tier it should have been an upsell for people who just want to have that fixture but it does nothing to add value to the vehicle nor the figs included.
I have to applaud Bobby for going in so hard on what companies like Ramen toys are doing. I think Ace is a great guy too and I would never say a negative word about him personally but I think his business model is rotten to the core. Bobby's right he shouldn't be raping other people's IPS just because he can.
They made it sound like missles are accessories. Really?! That’s part of the plane and already mostly reuse for blast effects. This plane should be 289$
I backed the Hiss Tank delayed. I backed the Dragonfly delayed. I bet this will be delayed. No way will I fall for the bullshit again! Hasbro is just enjoying the interest of our money. The patches is just a smack in the face to the people who back this. Im not that stupid to let them get me a 3rd time.
Look I love both of your channels. Bobby I got most of your figures. But you wouldn’t be anywhere without Gi joe am I wrong? Patches definitely a rip off for sure. Price definitely a rip off for sure. But here is also obviously facts….you are jealous. You would literally not have a business if Gi Joe did not exist. Love yall but come on
Bobby is a huge GI Joe fan. His GI Joe collection is massive, and he’s been collecting since he was a kid. Criticizing and making fun of Classified series isn’t “being jealous”. But it doesn’t really matter what I say, you’re going to think what you want and run with that.
1. You may be late to the game but I developed the first iteration of 6” GI Joe in 2016. 2. My Kickstarter funded before classified was announced so it was proved before classified. So, your comment is incorrect.
If it weren’t for Nostalgia, I wouldn’t buy Classifieds. If this were a new IP introduced today, I wouldn’t have any interest, especially with all the QC and distribution issues.
The reason is not at retail is because the retailers won't buy it. Like you saw in your previous hunt video 70% of Wal-Marts do not even carry Classifieds, by this time next year your video will be harping on the fact that classified is not even sold at Wal-Marts at all. Once Wal-Mart completely discontinues carrying Classifieds how long is it till Target quits buying Classified? I hate having to crowdfund but with evil corporate executives making decisions and diversifying their revenue to where ALL TOYS not just action figures is only 20% or so of their current revenue stream, what else do we expect from corporations? I hate having to buy from corporations but unfortunately the licenses I grew up loving are now swallowed by corporations, so no choice. I hope I am wrong but I really feel that Classified will not be running past 2025, that the line will end then.
You nailed it with what you said. I've seen Walmarts with the same figures rotting on pegs. No gijoe either. Those got put on clearance and nothing new on pegs since. Star wars, marvel...the same. Maybe one or two new figures...rest rotting on pegs.
McFarlane and their new big Batmobile, gigantic Mattel dinosaurs, Captain Carters shield, Spin Master playsets and vehicles. All of these examples prove you wrong. Retail will take it. Hasbro likes Haslab because it cuts out the middle man, allows them to inflate the price, and take more profit.
@@Blastcanon kids buy Jurassic park with new movies and Netflix cartoons, batman has new cartoon on Amazon, and that batmobile is not at Walmart only at a small percentage of targets. When was the last anything gi joe anything? Walmart has stopped carrying classifieds at 70% of their stores why do you think their MEGACORPORATE buyers are going to buy any large gi joe items. Target clearances out every price point why would they buy a higher price point?
I only want that Baroness lol. Its a good looking plane i just dont have room for vehicles, and even if i did anything over 250$ for this Haslab aint worth it.

This podcast is incredibly entertaining. No, the rattler isn’t perfect. We talked about that. Bobby literally said Hasbro is a company whose goal is to make a profit. There was no whining or crying, there was laughing and joking. The whining and crying came from your end, in your comment. The reason? Because you’re too immature to handle hearing someone criticize a toy you like. You’re a child. Grow up. We’re going to continue to have fun and poke fun and not take this shit too seriously. Even with customs & shipping that would get me 3 Swarm Locust's. I would really love Bobby to do something like the Rattler maybe a Action Force Black Hawk helicopter , yes it would be big but so what?. Bobby doing a 'Hasl;ab scale' vehicle priced around 250-300 & seeing how much better he can do it then Hasbro. P.S can't wait for my Vanguard's to arrive.
I’d love a black hawk!
Rya is a great host and Bobby has insights on the toy industry that VERY few possess. I love it when you talk about what is working and not working with valaverse and the toy line
1. I would love to hear more about what companies doing to make toys relevant to more than just a niche community (looking at gen x men as that community! 😁)
@@3POAPodcast explaining 2
quite a bit of this video was talking about how dumb many people are for blindly supporting hasbro, how awful hasbro is as a company, and how dumb it is that hasbro crowd funds.
now maybe you aren't trying to "stir the pot" so to speak, but its a pretty common tactic in the UA-cam world to talk about how dumb a group of people is to create outrage, to get views and clicks. and finding those people that will be "outraged" or mad (or whatever)is pretty easy to do. and then the UA-cam live stream can bash those people that are outraged. and people can comment about how stupid they were for ever saying something "that dumb"
and sure, you could say, "well we need to call dumb behavior out" fine... but there will always be someone on the internet that exhibits dumb behavior (and maybe that is ME at this moment). it just seems to me, that it is pandering to the lowest common denominator. I guess I would rather hear about toys than how stupid people are for blindly following Habro.
And you believe this is by design..? Or this is our “big plan”?
@@3POAPodcast I don't know, I just know I would rather hear about toys than how stupid people are that blindly follow hasbro
I just want a Wild Weasel figure, not a 3 ft. plastic airplane to go with him. 😂
Not sure I’ll buy this haslab. 330 is kinda high. Looks less than the dragonfly which was cheaper and more figures. Screw the patches. Maybe Emily made that an idea?! Whomever it was needs to have their head screwed back on
If u subtract 25 per fig off the past haslab. U get the gist
I want a patch
Shark plane was kool back in the day.
Raise the price $50 and take away a figure. Next one will be $400 and they will take away another figure. Patches are a HUGE middle finger and spin. Hasbro loves it, they even get to save lube money!
If anything the rattler should have been 259 with these tiers. It’s an army build vehicle. 329& with 3 figures and patches is absurd
I think the only vehicles that aren't army builders would be thunder machine and triple t. HISS is absolutely an Army builder and it was PRICEY.
I’ll save my money for the new figures coming out
Hiss was the pilot and was great and love the product.
So many people are only out for #1.
@@3POAPodcast I agree. They let the most minor amount of luck and privilege corrupt them.
@@3POAPodcast And you’re not? When you guys start sharing any money you make from this channel with your viewers, then you can ride that high horse.
@@durant100 LOL, the adults are talking, durant. Go back to your Nintendo.
@@LaserPantsAh, insults. Always the mark of an adult.
Hasbro got greedy on this one ….well greedier then usually
I could see pandora on a Buell or Ducati. Some sort of sport vtwin or street fighter. Not Japanese though.
Caught the replay
No babies in the house….Honcho’s getting down 😂
I have to applaud Bobby for going in so hard on what companies like Ramen toys are doing. I think Ace is a great guy too and I would never say a negative word about him personally but I think his business model is rotten to the core. Bobby's right he shouldn't be raping other people's IPS just because he can.
I’ll pay 379 for a whale with 5 figures and an extra pod vehicle.
Replay Squad here!!!
They made it sound like missles are accessories. Really?! That’s part of the plane and already mostly reuse for blast effects. This plane should be 289$
They can get away with it because the Hiss tank did it.
@@ralphvaderguy6860 missiles, rockets, etc. have called accessories ever since the original 80’s toy line.
It was most kind of Bobby to have free shipping on the Vanguard. Looking forward to seeing Mafex's Doomsday. Great duo livestream Ryan. 🙂
Why not give us a mechanic?
I backed the Hiss Tank delayed.
I backed the Dragonfly delayed.
I bet this will be delayed.
No way will I fall for the bullshit again! Hasbro is just enjoying the interest of our money. The patches is just a smack in the face to the people who back this. Im not that stupid to let them get me a 3rd time.
It’s annoying when they are having a new Haslab, when you haven’t even got the previous in hand yet.
They knocked up the price 30 bucks to make up some cash flow. And the Sdcc was bland
I buy the shit and WE ARE GETTING RIPPED OFF. Nostalgia is the strongest drug.
If it weren’t for Nostalgia, I wouldn’t buy Classifieds. If this were a new IP introduced today, I wouldn’t have any interest, especially with all the QC and distribution issues.
The gunner is bland
Also it's a handful of stores that will stock those big box toys like McFarlane Batmobile large boxes because shelf space cost money
Target in KY and Ohio have already stopped carrying Classified sadly.
I only want that Baroness lol.
Its a good looking plane i just dont have room for vehicles, and even if i did anything over 250$ for this Haslab aint worth it.
Nostalgia bait at its finest-new low for hasblo…haslab should have all new sculpts and tooling for everything offered in a haslab but it’s not…NO FOMO, but those who backed it, enjoy….
Sorry I missed this. I was actually at the movies watching Deadpool and Wolverine. Loved hearing Bobby talked about how crap the unlock tears for this Rattler are. Wish I could have been here to Super Chat you guys, because I would have loved to have heard Bobby's take on 40 for the Deadpool movie Colossus figure. 40 bucks for a 7 in figure with only two sets of hands two heads and a book.
👍🏼#309...🤝🏼🤝🏼🤝🏼😁
The gunners goggles should have been for barones that goes with the cartoon
Ripofflab
I swear this show is the lowest form of podcasting.. is the rattler perfect..by no means is it perfect..but Bobby continues to cry and wine about hasbro acting like the bitter x girlfriend who was dumped...the act is old ..be better..act better...and complaining and talking crap about how much profit is being made...they are a toy COMPANY..their goal is to MAKE MONEY..same as your goal...it makes you sound bitter...stop acting like clowns and use your platforms responsibly
We’ll leave that to Hasbro worshipping fan boys like you.
@3POAPodcast sounds like I struck a cord.. criticism is ok.. I have most of the same.issues with the Rattler as most people do.. but this just sounds like sour grapes..which has been all too typical for this podcast...but hey I get it ..negative videos and trashing things gets the subscribers..the super chats...the membership fees and the views....
…and the engagement from smooth brains such as yourself. Keep coming back. We both know you will. 😉
And yet you listened. Thanks for the views! 🙌🏻

The best way of displaying is to keep in box
Can’t say I agree but to each their own.
@@timberry4250 Display them how you like. You spent the money on them, so enjoy them however you like. For me, it’s pointless to keep toys in the box. Toys are meant to be played with. I open every toy I buy.
