here's a quick diamond painting tip: there pen like hobby knives especially for cutting that foil on top, that way you can cut it to strips or a grid, so you don't have to expose such large pieces of the adhesive at once...
a regular hobby knife also works, but you'd have to be careful not to cut in to the canvas underneath

I have been trying to live a really beautiful life and live by example but recently our country (Aotearoa NZ) has been going through a lot of negativity so I've had to speak out, in this world I think we can all live a beautiful, calm life but I have found true joy in activism. I think is so important that enlightened souls engage in civil disobedience in the face of the rise of negativity in our world.
it can be hard to live life with the sight of silver linings when there is so much negativity, but my hope is that the more we can focus on the positive it helps to shift perspective for those that don't 🤷🏾♀️

In a world of haste, we often find,
A tranquil haven for heart and mind,
A timeless art, a gentle pace,
Embracing life with a slow, sweet grace.
The art of slow living, we've come to find,
A refuge for the soul, so kind,
In moments cherished, we're truly alive,
Savoring the beauty life does derive.
So let us linger, and let us savor,
Each priceless moment, we'll not waiver,
For in the art of slow living, we see,
A richer life, and hearts set free.
FLYING A KITE
Outside, the skies are painted bright,
A kite takes flight, with sheer delight,
Its tail a trail of dreams set free,
Floating aloft in harmony.
In parks, the family laughter weaves,
Beneath the shade of towering trees,
Their love a tapestry of joy,
Bound by the threads that none can destroy.
LEARNING TO SWIM
In waters blue, my daughter sails,
Her spirit bright, her laughter trails.
With every stroke, she learns to glide,
A mermaid born, in waves, she'll bide.
From cautious steps to daring dives,
Her confidence blooms, it truly thrives.
With beaming pride, my heart's aglow,
As she conquers fears and starts to grow.
She floats and kicks, a joyful dance,
In water's arms, she's found romance.
Her tiny hands, so full of grace,
She's learning how to swim, embrace.
With each new skill, her spirit gleams,
A water nymph in childhood dreams.
Oh, how I cherish every day,
My little swimmer, come what may.
In rivers deep or oceans wide,
She'll brave the tides, with fearless stride.
My daughter's journey, bright and trim,
A splendid tale of learning to swim.
BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS SPENT WITH FAMILY
As sunsets paint the sky aglow,
We gather 'round, a family show.
With hues of orange, pink, and gold,
Love's warmth and laughter gently unfold.
Around the table, faces beam,
A cherished time, a cherished dream.
The setting sun, a backdrop grand,
A family dinner, hand in hand.
In grateful hearts, we all partake,
A bond that time will never break.
With every smile and story shared,
The sunset's magic is declared.
As day gives way to twilight's hue,
Our love grows strong, forever true.
In sunsets' grace, we find our place,
A family blessed, an embrace.
ROAD TO THE BEACH
Wheels rolling on the open road,
A journey grand, an adventure untold.
Through winding paths and landscapes vast,
We leave the worries of the past.
With windows down, the breeze invites,
As endless horizons fill our sights.
Through miles of memories, we roam,
Creating stories we'll carry home.
CALMING BEACH
Upon the tranquil, calming beach,
Where gentle waves softly reach,
A peaceful haven, serene and still,
Where worries fade, and hearts refill.
The whispering breeze, a soothing touch,
Caresses skin, it means so much.
With every breath, the salted air,
Relaxation spreads, without a care.
The sands embrace bare, weary feet,
As worries drift away, they fleet.
The ebb and flow, a lullaby,
Under the vast and endless sky.
Seagulls glide in graceful flight,
Their calls, a symphony of light.
In harmony with ocean's sway,
Time slows down, throughout the day.
The sun descends with golden hues,
A breathtaking sight to amuse.
As twilight paints the canvas blue,
Tranquility embraces you.
The beach's calm, a gentle balm,
Restoring spirits, like a psalm.
In this oasis, worries cease,
The calming beach, a place of peace.
A STROLL THROUGH A CAVE
Through winding streets, we aimlessly roam,
Hand in hand, together we roam,
Discovering places, both near and far,
Embracing life, just as we are.
Beneath Bermuda's realm, a crystal cave,
Where magic gleams, enchantments crave.
Turquoise stones and twinkling light,
Nature's wonder, pure and bright.
In Bermuda's heart, a treasure found,
A gem of beauty, underground.
Whispers of tales, echoes of grace,
In this crystal cave, I find my place.
THE ART MUSEUM
Within an art museum's hallowed hall,
Where whispers echo on every wall,
The brushstrokes dance, emotions rise,
Each canvas a glimpse into painter's eyes.
Amidst the colors, tales unfurl,
The artist's soul, a vivid swirl,
With patience, we explore each hue,
Letting inspiration seep through.
MY MORNING YOGA FLOW
In the hush of dawn's embrace,
A slow living morning takes its place.
With gentle breaths and minds at ease,
We welcome calmness, like a breeze.
In tranquil moments, we unfold,
In the presence of morning gold.
Yoga's flow, a graceful dance,
As bodies move with mindful trance.
Stretching limbs and steady gaze,
The world outside starts to haze.
Connecting with the inner core,
A journey inward, we explore.
Through each pose, a peaceful glow,
In slow living morning's flow.
Time slows down, we find release,
In this sacred moment of inner peace.

We are still together and not taking a break or divorced or anything at all like that. more to do with the financials and work as why he wasn't able to join.
