You may have seen a trailer or review, but this playthrough will feature my impressions, reactions, and commentary throughout 100% of the full game including the ending! GOLF WITH A MUSHROOM KINGDOM TWIST
Hit the green with up to four players locally or online and golf with friends from the Super Mario series like Mario, Peach, Yoshi, and more! Modes range from Standard Golf to the energetic Speed Golf and an exciting Golf Adventure. Simple motion or button controls make it easy for both new players and seasoned pros to drive and putt.
Pick up the pace in Speed Golf and Battle Golf! Tee off at the same time with up to three other players and race through the course to get your ball in first. Mayhem is par for the course as you hinder your opponents with dashes and Special Shots. Yoshi can dash atop a giant egg and King Bob-omb can pelt the green with explosions! In Battle Golf, watch out for obstacles like Thwomps, Chain Chomps, and banana peels as you navigate the neon-themed Super Golf Stadium.
Rise through the ranks in Golf Adventure! Enroll your Mii character in golf training at the famous Bonny Greens country club and go from beginner to pro! The stakes are high-you must also watch out for Wario and Waluigi’s tricks and even battle fearsome bosses. You’ll face off against your Mushroom Kingdom classmates and level up your character. You can bring your character (and their customized stats) into other modes, too.
Choose from one of 16 characters from the Super Mario series and hit the green in several modes! Take it slow in Standard Golf and choose from 3-18 holes across 6 different courses that range from lush scenery to windy wilds. Intuitive controls and a shot gauge that adapts to the curve of the course make it easy for both new players and seasoned pros to drive and putt. Characters include Mario Golf veterans like Mario, Luigi, and Peach. Characters like Pauline and Chargin’ Chuck are also here to make their debut on the green.
In addition to the frenetic Speed Golf, you can also enjoy simultaneously swinging in Battle Golf. The neon-soaked Super Golf Stadium has 9 open holes-first player to get 3 flags wins! Use obstacles, including Thwomps, Chain Chomps, Bob-ombs, and banana peels to your advantage. Up to four players can join the fast and flashy fun.
Start your Golf Adventure as a rookie in Bonny Greens, birthplace of the sport in the Mushroom Kingdom. After learning the game at this classic country club, you’ll compete for the next badge, allowing you to journey across the land playing a variety of courses and their clever variants of the sport. You’ll meet new coaches, master new skills, and hunt for buried treasure on your quest to turn pro. Things get weird when Wario shows up, but what else is new? It’s not called Golf Adventure for no reason. Save par, save the world. All in a day's golf!

They should've just remade the N64 Mario Golf instead of this garbage.
Taking out the 3 button press, check. Small amount of characters and modes, check. No online rankings of any kind not even a stat tracker, check. Best part no real golf mode to play some basic exhibition mode etc. Feels more like a really cheap Mario spin off then a new Mario golf game worth playing. My hopes are sky high.

To help with putting: the grid lines on the ground follow the contours of the green. So when you see the lines”moving” that is the direction the green is flowing. So if you see the lines moving to the left, aim your put to the right slightly. If it’s uphill, a little more power. Putting is by far the hardest part! Great vid as always Zach!

That's exactly what I did when I was playing the past Hot Shots Golf games on PlayStation systems. It was very helpful.
I noticed the putting is really hard in this. They put the flag but then you have to guess how much lower or bigher you have to hit it on the meter.
I love when Zack does a new series. Takes me back to New Leaf.

Zach, when the ball curves when you go to put it in, that means the ground is angled and you need to look at it bc it shows you which way it will go

Zack I’m an actual golfer, don’t hit a driver from the fairway. It never goes as far as it normally goes off the tee

Just saying technically legal to still tee up your ball in the fairway to prevent the issue also now fairway woods work pretty well

The shaping of the shot is because in golf a draw ( ball that drifts back across the same side as the golfers swing) typically runs further when it hits the ground. A fade (the ball drifts away from the golfers swing) has less run

1.if you play with a character a lot you gain character points!
1000=star clubs
3000=super star clubs
They give so much distance and are awesome for your favorite character.
The Xc country golf sucks but the story is great when you get past it..

10:31 Now that’s taking in to account the rolls. When you hit it in the air do it less because it rolls. When it’s on the ground do it a little extra power because the golf symbol in that case is how far it rolls

Game looks ok honestly. The trailer made it look really action packed. But its mostly running around looking for things. Might be too early to judge tho.

@Joel Johnson it's a LOT of fun to play, especially with friends.
The optional lessons are harder versions of the original lesson. The blue ! tells you that it's optional, plus there is 1 optional one for each required lesson. The Orange ! Tells you it's required to progress through the game. Plus you get more coins and exp from doing the optional ones, and you use coins to buy better gear and golf clubs.
In the future you have to play Mario + rabbits sparks of hope next year
If you want to run more in speed golf, put points into stamina. I have seen you put zero points into stamina, others might get ahead because they have more stamina than you. Also upping your stamina will allow you to run for longer periods of time without having to pick up a heart
Fun Fact: Zack, Yoshi AND Toad all qualified in the Qualifying Round!
Just a heads up, your running dash can move balls out of the way if you run into them when they arent putting on it
When playing in the front 9 courses in Balmy Dunes, you have to make sure you stay hydrated. If you run out of water, you'll pass out and you're out of the course.
I, in real life, have passed out from dehyration quite a few times in my life. Gotta stay hydrated. It's important.

My idea is that you could showcase different characters everyday. You can do a bit of the adventure mode and a bit of the mode where you pay against computers. The video was really good.
I have a tip for you:
- If the floor is flat, try to move the gauge bar a bit back
- If the floor is downhill, use even less than flat floor
- If the floor is uphill, do the reverse thing of downhill
Hope this tip will help you on your golf journey!
One more tip: if you need a full shot, don’t fill too much, it will shifts
