- In this video we will look at how to create EXE software/application deployment type in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
EXE application deployment type is a bit tricky than MSI based deployment types. I have demonstrated the basics you need to understand for an EXE based deployment type through ConfigMgr aka MEMCM/MECM/SCCM.

Thanks. You will be looking for cmtrace.exe.
ConfigMgr server if ConfigMgr installed on c drive: c:\Microsoft Configuration Manager\tools
Windows machine with ConfigMgr client installed: c:\windows\ccm

Have a query on this deployment, how to deploy the updated adobe to the organization were all computers are running with lower version of Adobe reader.
In other words to install the updated software version on top of older software.
Could you please revert back with solution or the Video link which you already done ?
Not sure how many end points you will targeting. Is it a patch you will apply or a full update of the app?
You could deploy as a superseded app. It will remove the previous installation and install the new app. It may remove the user preferences or the app preferences in case it is set as default pdf reader manually.
Usually, you would use a third part tool to manage updates of such applications.
Thanks for informative video, can we uninstall the older version of software and install latest version using this?
There are a few ways. You can make a script installer, which removes older version and installs new one.
Or you can create supersede install. Or you can create a dependency which uninstalls other application, in you case it will be the previous version of software.

You are welcome. There was no need to use Chrome.exe as it is available as MSI for Enterprise Edition. Check here chromeenterprise.google/intl/en_au/browser/download/.
