@@Casherr93 i agree, except for vegas i was at the vegas gp in person last year and i really enjoyed it. (Even though we missed 2 practice sessions for negligence) The race was incredible I love how loopy china is though, can’t wait for it.

Because it will show Mercedes is still the fastest car despite sky Lewis F1 "claiming" Ferrari has half a second advantage on the straightaway.

There's not a chance Bottas beating Lewis Hamilton over the course of a season. Over an entire season, it takes immense mental strength. Remember last year when we all thought Seb is going to be the champion after 3 races ? Lewis is so tough mentally. He's almost superhuman. He's usually slow at the beginning of the season but comes alive in the middle of the season. Bottas doesn't stand a chance against Hamilton. Not a fanboy but just stating facts. Lewis enjoys pressure while even a 4 time WC like Sebastian wilts under it. LH is a very hard nut to crack.

While Hamilton was surfing, kitesurfing and modeling in the off season, Bottas was busting his ass in the gym, rally racing, perfecting his driving skills. He deserves it!

@@manigopal92 I'm nationally obligated to be a Bottas fan but you speak the truth. Objectively, Lewis is the best driver on the grid hands down.
@@manigopal92 haha lewis is so tough? he just doesn't make mistakes because he is an alien driver in the grid. But think about a bad mercedes upgrade to the car or a strategy error from the team. When you look at past you can see he is fragile almost 'mentally' as seb. his driving is superb but .... we didn't see him in a slower car since 2013. and dont tell me ferrari is faster last year, ferrari made awful upgrades after spa and litteraly went back to the spa version aero at the last third in the season. this is a disaster for a team because everyone on the grid getting faster and faster with the upgrades but you can't get faster AND get slower due to upgrades. makes huge pace difference.

Ferrari is the ducati version of F1: straight line speed is incredible, but not really good on corner
Mercedes is the honda: straight speed is not that great, but easier to ride around corner.

This is quite odd considering the 2019 cars have been quicker at Australia and Barhain, but maybe they’ll be faster in the race idk.
Interestingly, every team/driver has gone slower than their 2018 China qualifying pace--except Mercedes. Bottas and Lewis did a 1:31.625 and 1:31.675 last year, improving to 1:31.547 and 1:31.570 this year. It seems that Mercedes is really going pedal to the metal with their in-season development pace.
