June 10th - Puttalam Lagoon Downwind

June 10th - My favorite one of the whole trip is the Puttalam BIG Lagoon downwind. It looks so far but actually only a 13km straight line distance. The small sand bar in the middle is a gem with a massive shallow water area. Amazing services by the Kitesurfing Lanka team with Gihan DE Silva leading the pack, Tikiri de Silva sweeping last and a rescue boat for safety. Thilak Chathuranga took great care of us with every meal. Every kitesurfer should experience this trip!
