Great comment. You need to explain to the younger UA-camrs what you are referring to with this comment. Also violent crime is less than half of what it was in the 1970s. You might wanna check the crime rate while he was mayor. He made *certain* people "feel" safer.
@@ervinghenderson4780 Frank Rizzo was the best mayor Philadelphia will ever have
@Philly Bred 85 that's YOUR opinion. To me, the best mayor was Ed Rendell. He took Philly out of this old thinking and began to turn the city into a place to be.
@@ervinghenderson4780 Your the type of person that accepts criminals destroying our community then you wanna play the race card. Your a coward! Smh
He’d be in prison now with all the electronic surveillance
RIZZO WAS , IS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE KING OF PHILLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Rich Zapp Absolutely ..... I agree Rich.
King of ignorant losers
RIPRICKJAMES IM GLAD HES. DEAD HE CLEARLY ACTED WITH A SHORT , QUICK FUSE A DIRTBAG WHO DIDNT HAVE A HEART
Rizzo was a piece of shit
Gotcha question interview..sounds like tds
Frank Rizzo was thee best mayor Philly ever had. He was no angel, perhaps an angel with a dirty face, but he was a man of his word, and you could depend on him.
This interviewer needs to get his facts straight. All accusations no proof.
He is a good example of the fake media and this is from 1972, Riz was the best, bar none
Rizzo was also fond of rimming hairy sphincters of homeless black men.
Trump is a lot like him. Can you imagine if Rizzo were mayor today? Trump at the help and Rizzo leading philly? I'm from that area and my friends down there say it's not safe to go to phillly
What exactly was "fake" about this interview?
Craig Moorer yes trump, with Rizzo and Giuliani as mayor for Philly and NYC would be amazing
@speck: Well, you did make this comment over four years ago; do you still support white supremacy or were you just merely doing nothing more than trolling for your `shits & giggles` when you posted this feces?
Callings crumbs crumbs. Like the crumb doing the interview. Lol
We need frank rizzo back
Frank would be elected president today.
Frank Rizzo R I Z Z O !
Tough interviewer. That’s good. That’s what we need more of, tough cross examination of politicians of both parties.
That was an interview setup, based on one single journalists attack, sensationalizing with no proof trying to grab headlines.
What had Rizzo done to be set up like that?
David Howells-he ran the city like a mob boss!!
I study loneliness daily & learn nothing. Yeah and got shit done.
I thought this video was about the jerk boys
He did keep the city from being burned down unlike dc where I grew up
Gordon should have asked what he would think if the city put up a statue of him and then take it down it down years later.
I remember when he died, the outpouring of grief amongst the black community which surprised me because I was always told what a racist he was.
He loved "Phluffia"
He seems to be the model for Sean Hannify’s hairstyle.
That was a hatchet job on rizzo. We loved the man in philly
Rizzo: “I’ll sit here & answer the questions.” (5 seconds later) asked a tough question; Rizzo walks out
Philly needs Frank Rizzo now.
Rizzo was a great man.
Frank was a G
This was when the Democrats were sane.
Good on Frank Rizzo.
Make Philadelphia great again
Philly was, and shall always be a shithole, bar none.
@@deschutesmaple4520 100% Agreed!
@@deschutesmaple4520 😂😂
You can always tell a liar by the ad hominem attacks they use when they are asked hard questions about their actions. Challenging a reporter to a fight is classic.
weird that he specifically pulled the number "187" out, the police code for homicide.
seemed calm and reasonable
... where can I find the made for TV movie FRANK RIZZO in the late fifty s and or early 60 s
Its black and white
I remember watching it.
I would like to see it again.
S.F. Needs his type! 👍
Didn't he resemble a cross between Tom Bosley and John Goodman?
Lou Gordon was also the guy who asked George Romney about Vietnam, and Romney responded that he was brainwashed on Vietnam, and that contributed to his failed presidential campaign.
Rizzo was alive he would clean this county up
Rizzo was a democrat who was NOT pc
He was your typical white racist.rest in piss
"I know a mayor who's in prison" 😂😂😂
When he died, the city died.
If my memory serves me correctly, that reporter was arrested for luring little boys to his car in NYC.
Great Eyetalian!!
Because they don't want people to know the truth.
Rizzo needs to demand who these sources are? Unless they're named then they're meaningless.
What a tough guy
Good Ole days
Lou could’ve handled it just a bit differently. Not that I would want him to pussyfoot around, but he could’ve said, “Mr. Mayor, this is your chance to respond to some really tough allegations. This is your forum.”
The interviewee must have some rapport and a modicum of trust for the interviewer to be effective. It’s not a boxing match. You don’t just come out swinging. decorum matters when you are trying to press for tough answers.
I have a feeling Rizzo and Trump would have been fast friends.
No Mr. RIzzo was a law and order guy while Trump is chaos and only for himself.
😂 Why I oughta!
