This packaging helped me pull the trigger on this pallet as my Xmas gift to myself. And I’m so happy I did. This pallet and The Groundwork in Blooming Romance palette are the only two palettes that I’ve been using for my ENTIRE face for the last 2 months. And what’s great is being able to put the Groundwork palette into the empty Lightwork outer shell. This year’s palette is highly wearable especially for us pale skinned girlies. I hope all her palettes come customizable in the future. 😊🫶🦋
A fluffy brush will not apply this product with the "punch" you're hoping for. For that outcome, it's best to use your finger or a silicone applicator. To sheer it out, a small fluffy brush will do wonders. Great vid. Thanks for sharing.
I do think she watered this one down to be more wearable/daytime/work appropriate and versatile but the packaging is genius. I’m trying to talk myself out it but…. Idk lol
Danessa says that you get more color payoff if you use your fingers instead of a brush. At least that's how it looked on teach me Tuesday. Thanks for your review. I love the way the stacks and magnets work. I'm taking it on my trip with me this weekend.
This ia the first thing I bought during my USA trip and UGH gorgeous. It's my most expensive piece of makeup and I spent a lot in Danessa Myricks products in general!
I think she watered down the color intensity in this palette so lighter skin tones can wear them. Have all of Danessa Myricks Lightwork eye shadow palettes. I really like the packaging but not the lightly pigmented shadows . Mid-light colors. Can you please come closer so we can see better. Cute eye look and love your hair!
thank you! 💕 & unfortunately I cant get any closer, if I do the background will start flickering bc my camera has a hard time figuring out what to focus on. I've tried. My newer videos are actually closer than older videos due to feedback about being closer. I've improved the closeness from previous videos, but my camera does not allow me to zoom in more. that's why I add close up shots to make up for it where I can. ♥
yes that’s what i usually would do. i don’t like to alter products when i do first impressions videos. i want yall to see how the products perform without me giving it a little help! ☺️
This is also my favourite Lightwork palette. I only have V and VI but, like you, from seeing the others, I wasn't too fussed. My head wasn't turned to the Lightwork series until Volume V. I filmed with VI and had so much fun doing so. I actually like the matter formula. I think they made good crease shades for those who don't necessarily want in a shimmer there.
What a stunning palette! I really like the new format, making it customisable was a genius move👌🏾! I get why she put the satin shadows in there. But seeing you trying to use them was a bit of a letdown, I thought that they would pack some more punch. Thank you so much for showing and swatching for us! 💕
yes, I def understand the satin as well but after using the first one, I wasn't impressed! I def would have preferred another shifting shade! 🥺 but the palette as a whole is stunning & I had a lot of fun playing with it! ♥
I like the packaging. If I didn’t have a collection of Clionadh, Shine By SD, Terra Moons, Devinah, etc I would be sold on this palette. Beautiful swatches!
I think the first two light works where more highlighter palettes. 3 did have a black matte I think, but otherwise I don't think there's been matte formulas.
Love the packaging, great concept. The palette however seems to have a lot of light tones. I have the Viseart II and this reminds me of same only the Viseart colours may be more complimentary for me. I find this seem more Caucasian leaning
the lighter tones you see are the more iridescent shades! ♥ they all have a stunning shift! but they are shades you would have to swatch or place on the eyes to see the shift. you can't really see the shifts in the pan. I feel like when it's in the palette they all kind of look the same, but they all have different color shifts ✨
Ive never owned a lightwork palette, but I do like this one. The packaging sold me.
Right the packaging alone gets you
I do love how she did that, like its looks very travel friendly .

Tatianna Anesa, awesome video keep up the amazing work
thank you ♥☺

i don’t know if you saw but i also used my finger in addition to the brush & it still didn’t give me the punch with that shade.
this eye look turned out stunninggg omg
thank you!!! I had a lot of fun playing with this palette! 😍
Girl! I could not click fast enough!

I wish I was into colorful Shimmers, duo-chrome, multi-chromes. Love the concept of the palette tho
Imagine going forward she does this with her mattes and other stuff. It would really be amazing.
I said i didn’t want it but those duo chromes and shift shades 😮
Really appreciated those phone snippets ❤ !! I def don't love enough of the colors to justify buying it 😭
When I got mine it was definitely packaged so well, but still came broken. Sephora did ship me a new one and it came perf!

@@TatiannaAnesa Okay I understand. My eyes are not the best so I always try to get close to see well.
I know it’s not ideal but if you are on UA-cam mobile you can zoom in.
This palette looks amazing! I have so many indie shadows that i dont know if i will be that into these. You have me tempted.
wet the brush for those shadows to stick to your eye

The names are on the backs of the individual pans too! Gorgeous video!❤️💯👑
So great!! 🔥💜
The palette is so pretty! 😍But is the price though! 😩💓💙💚
The pallette is beautiful! The price 🫣
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice video. Mine is on its way!

Of whose pallets?? I clearly need to expand on my knowledge on makeup bc I’ve never heard of those
It looks like a palette that can go from everyday to runway. I can't wait to play in mine
Flat packing brush and primer should fix tht. Or spritz setting spray. Swipe motion or pack motion.
👑 ❤ 📖 i really Like this pallet but i have my concerns mainly if I'll like how it performs 🙏 🕊
I wish I could afford these palettes 😭 I wanted last year’s so bad but I wasn’t able to afford it and I still can’t this year
💖💖💖💖💖💖

I hope not. I got this because some fair skinned reviews said these show up better with darker bases!
