*NEW* [North Vancouver] BADASS Ladder 10 & Fire Engines Responding!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 бер 2023
- Captured here is the City of North Vancouver Fire Department's Engine 9, Engine 10, and brand-new Ladder 10 in action! The new ladder is a Pierce Ascendant Aerial Tower, which was put into service in early March 2023. The ladder reaches a height of 30 meters or 100 feet, and the black over red design of this massive truck makes it a sight to behold. In my opinion Ladder 10 is one of the coolest fire trucks in the province of British Columbia right now! Let me know what you think of it in the comments!

That ladder is looking sharp, i love the blacked out paint scheme
Thanks for the comment! I agree, it looks amazing.
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses Departments here in the US have been using that color scheme for quite some time.
The blacked out apparatus makes everyone think twice love the red down the middle and black on the bottom and top just amazing.
ာ
To be honest, how wonderful and beautiful units Canada has! As my colleague is in Toronto, he already saw lots of modern units which unfortunately, here in Mexico is not that possible to see! Magnificent compilation, mi amigo!
Thanks for the comment amigo! 🙂 Yes we do have some pretty cool vehicles here, but I still respect the emergency services in Mexico as well. They do what they can with what they have!
They look like Baltimore county Fire trucks
Spectacular catches!! I love the red and black colors on these North Vancouver fire trucks!! Interesting EQ2B siren on NEW Ladder 10 which is kinda rare to hear in British Columbia!
These trucks look AMAZING
I agree ☺️
The red glow in the Grill and the red glowing handles on the side, someone who love Fire Trucks made the Design, thats for sure !
Absolutely! 🤩
pierce is the best everyone in the seattle area and citys north and east are going with em, and damn they look good.
Black over red is an amazing color. Beautiful truck
I find that black over red is being used a bit too often these days (at least in BC), but the North Van City Fire Dept really knows how to pull it off 👍🏼
Gorgeous apparatus! Drives me crazy when they wait to hit the lights until they are on the street, particularly when there is so obviously somebody taping.
Tell me about it lol …I was waiting all day for that ladder and then it almost seemed like they weren’t going to turn the lights on at all! 😫
I don’t think it was intentional though. Got a feeling it took them a moment to find the right button since they’re still getting used to the truck…
Dope ladder
Agreed 😁
Ladder 10 is a beauty, hotdamn the paint job is slick!
FANTASTIC looking vehicles!! 🤩
Love the colour combination!! Great work 👍🏻
Thank you very much! I agree ☺️
Wow
Very interested in the Hazmat truck,8:31,looks like a Ford Cargo. I am in U.K. those trucks were everywhere,30 years ago. Box trucks, tippers, flatbeds, tractors, everything.
Just saw these bad boys fly by the other day. Funny this popped up on my feed now.
Nice! 😁
Nice
Thanks
That rcmp on the corner thinking, I should've been a firefighter. LoL
lol
This things gotta look more badass in the snow
I’d love to get a clip of it in the snow! 😁
04:08 The ladder is very beautiful with black, red paint
Definitely beautiful 😁
What a beauty. Like the red/black pattern :O
That is one nice fleet
Absolutely! 😍
That ladder 🥵🥵
Amazing Video. 👍🏻🤩
Thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to catch then post
No problem, that’s what I love to do! Thanks for watching and supporting 😊
can you add Morocco to your videos please ? And keep it up , you are doing such a great job on the channel , really love it !
I’d love to one day! Unfortunately I have not been to Morocco yet. Thank you for your kind comment 😊
Great video
Thank you!
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses your welcome
Looking great, we have a similar Pierce truck put in service a month ago. It's the same blackout in red and black, looks amazing, and we even blacked out the Stokes basket.
Nice! Thanks for the comment!
Nice Tower Ladder 🚒
👍🏼
Awesome catches!
Thank you!
That is a BEAUTIFUL truck!
I agree 😁
All of those rigs look brand new, very sharp. Nice catches!
Thank you very much!
That's a beauty of a ladder! West Vancouver has a new ladder/snorkel/aerial bucket that might be worth your time. It's within the last year!
I will try to get some clips in West Van soon 👍🏼
Awesome looking unit
Agreed! 😁
What an awesome rig! Love how much effort they put into the design
Absolutely!
And how much money. Are taxpayers of that district aware, how much of their money was spent on that non-standard paint scheme, that makes the truck actually worse at its function?
@@solarissv777 most fire trucks in Canada, and America, use red over black lol
@@blue.light.fazbear and nowhere else. Form over function?
Not just the paint job. The North Shore of Vancouver BC consists of 3 municipalities. West Van has its own police and Fire. North Van City has their own Fire (single station) Nort Van District has their own Fire, City and Dist share the RCMP detachment. Think of the savings, lack of duplication and increase in fire and police services abilities.
Top heavy, wasteful and over duplication.
Note North Van City trucks do no correspond with the actual number of trucks they have. City and Dist trucks are all numbered as if one service.
EMS as elsewhere in BC is done by BSEHS(BCAS) with fire first response when medically necessary.
love the picture of the fire truck painted on the street
Looks like you had an awesome day at the station! That's a great looking ladder truck, and those rigs in general look very sharp.
Yes it was fun, the only downside being that it took over 6 hours to finally catch Ladder 10 responding… 😆
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses Oof, that's a long stakeout! I get bored after, like , 30 minutes 🤣. Worth the wait though!
Ladder 10 looks Awesome! That HazMat Truck is pretty sweet also
Agreed!
Literally just saw T10 on a trip up to North Vancouver and commented to my uncle on what a baddass looking Truck it was. Didn't realize at the time it was only a few weeks old.
Now you know 😁
Nice catches, new Ladder is very big :D
Thank you! It is indeed.
Awesome video as always my friend!! Glad we caught this together, especially after waiting 6 hours for it! haha 😆
Thanks man ☺️
LOVE the black and red color combo. Excellent work brother !
Thank you very much!
I wish there was also one like this for Calgary fire department
Nice fire truck
Sure is
Ladder 10 is a magnificent beast 😍🤘
02:00 they talking about the red gloving handles and he says "that didnt cost extra" 😂
very nice Timur😍
Still Timur here…thanks though! 😆
AMAZING rig!
Awesome catch! Love that new ladder
Thank you!
Hope the wait was worth it 🤣
Maybe I need to go there to get some of that tourist luck haha
Well I think overall the video turned out quite nicely, and 4 responses clips is not too shabby for 6 hours of waiting 😄
Give it a try man, you never know!
Epic! To bad no Q on L10.
Thanks! Yea that’s a bit of a bummer. I was surprised that they didn’t get a Q because usually North Van is very big on tradition and they love using the Q (the engines never use electronic sirens). On the other hand I’ve definitely warmed up to the EQ.
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses Np! Yeah, it’s a bummer. Hopefully if they order a new engine it will have a Q.
I don't know how you do this, but it's amazing! Perfect timing with response, keep up the great work dude. 👍
Thank you very much! It takes a lot of time, planning, and luck… 😁
The black and red looks sleek on ladder 10
For sure!
Great praise! A very nice video. The fleet is really great.
Thank you! 🙂
Beautiful mid mount 😍
I'm pretty sure that ladder is a Decepticon
Lol absolutely!
What a beautiful beast!❤️🫡
Nice truck. Don’t tilt the cab up or else the condensation from the A/C will drip all over the portable radio unit 😅
nice video! they've got some great looking apparatus. i really like the personality you put into your videos and how thorough the documentation of your visits are. keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! ☺️
Very sharp looking rig. Only a two man crew on the Ladder?
Seems like it. Not sure if they ever go with more people on the ladder.
Pierce Tower ladder truck
Correct 😁
My hometown fd is getting a new sutphen pumper and I asked one of our captains when it will go into service and he told me late June so I guess I gotta wait 2 more months before I can see it driving around my hometown which sucks but hey I'm a patient man
Damn these look cool, I live in East Vancouver and we have the same Trucks but Red and White
That brand new ladder looks awesome, btw any idea where’s the 3years old ‘new’ platform for VFRS 😂
Haha that is a very good question!! The last time I saw the ‘new’ Platform 3 it was at the VFRS training facility (Chess Street). Not sure where it is right now and why they still cannot put it in service… Long overdue!
this is dope people who just spend time to see firefighters or any emergency vehicles go out thats cool the camera ppl should get paid for giving commercials for emergency people.
I’m so lucky to have bought the retired ladder 10 that this new beauty has replaced. She’s a diamond 💎 too!
Where is old L10 going?
Is that sitting on an Enforcer chassis? That's a first. Most of them have been mounted on the Arrow XT chassis so far.
Yes it’s an Enforcer.
Somebody( on the purchase committee), definitely likes Pierce rigs, they( Pierce MFG), make SWEET APPARATUS!Those look to be all “Enforcer” cabs!!👍🏽🇺🇸
Thanks for the comment!
E9 is enforcer, e10, e11 are arrow xts. Ladder is enforcer.
@@siahnide Thanks, I can’t always tell which are which, the only standout is the big “Quantum” cab!👍🏽
Best truck in my country
Definitely one of the coolest in Canada 😁
imagine seeing a European fire truck that has black over red
Would look pretty badass I think 😁
yep
Great Catch and excellent videography as always!
Thanks man! 😊
Best rig in canada by far
I can’t name a cooler one at this time 😄
Do they only come with these weird siren-like tones or do they have actual sirens as well?
I don’t know what you consider an ‘actual siren’, because emergency services use a great variety of sirens around the world… The mechanical ‘Q’ siren is quite commonly used as the standard fire department siren in North America. However, most trucks also have electronic sirens that may sound more ‘regular’ to you. Different fire departments have different preferences on what they like to use.
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses Ah okay, well, I always thought regular sirens are those that police cars have equipped. That's the first time I came across such different-sounding ones.
Are they even heard very well? I wouldn't be able to immediately differentiate these from other sounds around.
Engine 9 and 10 are they both normally based here?. Lovely looking busy station and the tower is great.
Yes they are. Engine 9 and 10 take turns responding to calls, or go together for bigger incidents. In fact this department only has one station, so all the apparatus you see in my video are based there.
North Van City does not have crew permanently assigned crews to units. They have a pool of 11 or 12 crew and they man and use what is need as per call. North Van Dist Rescue and Tower are manned by the same 3 crew persons.
i hope its a autobot not decepticon
Lol yep
Shot at 1:44 was majestic
Thank you!
Is the hazmat truck in the garage a old ford cargo
While it indeed looks great, isn't the color scheme rather counter-productive to being seen? To me it blends in with the background more than a solid red or red and white color scheme, which should be the last thing an emergency vehicle wants.
no headsets or Q on the new tower?
Only EQ. Not sure what you mean by headsets.
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses oh i’m talking about the headphones used for crew communications when the siren is running
Q2B & EQ2B
That’s right!
Whats the siren on those trucks?
Federal Q on the engines and EQ2B on the ladder.
Q siren on the Vancouver trucks?? Haven’t seen that before. That’s awesome though
Not in the City of Vancouver (Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services). The one in this video is from the City of North Vancouver, a different department and municipality. Vancouver next generation engines might get Q sirens though!🙂
I would hate to work there, 3 front line rigs out of one station.
Why?
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses for us the average first due engine sees 3-5 calls a night now do that x3. Plus probably a battalion. Yikes I don’t want to be woken up that many times for calls that are not even mine
4 front line actually 😂 rescue/ladder are cross staffed and then 2 front line engines 😂
@@siahnide lmao😵😵
@@Jacob-mm8xq I see what you’re saying, but I’m not sure if it really works like that at every fire station. They might get paged individually depending on which unit they’re assigned to.
In the daylight run why or what is the point of not activating the emergency light Before rolling out into the street? A good way to forget them or cause issues with drivers. Perhaps liability for failing to activate them before entering public streets? Just bad practice IMO. Not picking on This department but it seems too often to be the "thing" with many departments (or their 'drivers').
I don’t think it was intentional in this case. They usually have the lights on before entering the road. It’s a brand new truck, so it seemed to me that it took the driver a few seconds to find the switch for the lights. It happens.
im japanese but that fire truck's siren is similar to police's siren in japan.
So I’m curious, is their a south Vancouver fire as well it is this a branched division of central?
No, this is the City of North Vancouver, an independent municipality and completely separate from the City of Vancouver, which only has one one fire department (Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services).
Only 2 on the ladder?
Did not find the Russian ambulance 🚑
That goodness its not a Spartan chassis
Great lookin ladder....but NO REAL MECHANICAL?!?!?!? Have to say I'm a little disappointed.
For some reason they didn’t get a real Q for this one. Quite surprising for North Van City because they’re big on tradition and the engines literally NEVER use their electronic sirens.
Sad no Q2B
Hazmat 1 is a Ford Cargo?
Only if we had it in the U.S...
There are similar looking ones in the US, but this one just came out perfect… whoever designed it did a really good job 😄
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses I am pretty late, but if you didn't yet, try and catch footage of The Woodlands Fire Rescue tower ladder! It looks similar to these ones, with a different color scheme.
Only a 2 man crew for the ladder? Weird 🤔
Why does it not have a q siren
Ask the North Van City Fire Department! 😆 It’s unusual for them not to use a real Q, I’ll say that for sure.
It’s just that the tower ladder in Montreal haves a eq2b and a q
@@jimbobcramden Ok. Every fire department does things differently 🤷🏻♂️
Ewww, they use the Amazon backup alarms
There’s always something to complain about lol
It’s a Broadband backup alarm. It’s actually more effective than a traditional backup alarm because the frequency allows the human ear to pinpoint the direction from which the sound is coming, rather than the sound echoing and confusing you, like a traditional backup alarm. Some models also have an automatic volume sensor, which allows the alarm to get louder or quieter based on the surrounding ambient sound.
amazing looking trucks but those flash patterns are awful and seem like a lazy person was in charge of it
I think they work fine.
I like to meet with you my name is joseph hendirck and I like fire turcks to
Why black? Decreased visibility yet many departments going for that look.
It’s becoming more and more popular (in North America at least). Mostly for aesthetic reasons I would guess. Yes, the dark colors are technically not ideal for fire trucks, but then again they are also covered in bright warning lights.
Nice tower ladder! Too bad they didn’t put a “REAL” siren on it 🤦🏼♂️
If some one can not see anything the size of Ladder 10, they should not be allowed to drive on public roads.
I agree! 😆
