      Moths(lepidoptera order insects in general) are not even hard to identify as lepidoptera

    Do the insects's innards come out? If I find a recently dead beetle, do I need to precess it in some way to preserve it?

    • @lazy2835
      @lazy2835 Рік тому +2

      No because of their hard exoskeleton you don't have to do anything to preserve it.

    how ethical it is to kill insects just to have in a box? isn't it too selfish?

    • @brute9867
      @brute9867 3 роки тому +32

      I agree completely, it goes against logic to kill something you appreciate. I find dead insects often and those i collect and that's ok

    • @bioheater
      @bioheater 3 роки тому +10

      @@brute9867 I agree as well. Why would i kill something I am fascinated with? Apart from that, who am I to decide wether something lives or dies?
      And if you really want to find dead insects look in pools from friends for example. There are drowned insects already. Sometimes they are not dead already, so you can rescue them .
