@@manasvi-k6v y'all literally made the whole ass show about him so it doesn't matter 😂 everything is about Miguel the other characters and their outcomes don't matter to anyone 😂 because all everyone ever mentions is Miguel 😂
Miguel might need to step up as Captain, the duality/similarities between Rocky and Cobra Kai are extremely evident, and the storyline in Rocky 4 could give us hints for what's to come. For example, The names Iron Dragons and Ivan Drago are similar, right? Another big thing about Rocky is that Rocky's former rival and now friend Apollo loses to Ivan Drago (dies). Of course, I don't think Robby (Who in this case is Apollo), is dying, but gets injured for Miguel to take his spot. Of course, in the Rocky movies, Apollo (Robby) is avenged, with Rocky (Miguel) having a personal vendetta against Ivan Drago.
That’s too derivative and below what the writers are capable of. The most plausible theory is Daniel withdrawing from the tournament (this decision would be reinforced by the death of a certain character at the Sekai Taikai tournament) due to his arc about Mr Miyagi’s past coming to close (i.e. Miyagi never wanted Daniel to compete, and for good reason). It is likely that Johnny takes the spot for representing Cobra Kai after it has been postponed (in Part 3) and realising that it is his responsibility to set things right with Cobra Kai (since he brought it back from the dead in Season 1). It will probably be a full-circle moment (and actually Season 6 Part 1 has already alluded to this happening with that scene where Stingray tries to persuade Johnny to retake Cobra Kai), and for whatever reason Miguel and Tory will become the Sekai Taikai captains for Johnny’s Cobra Kai and compete against the Iron Dragons dojo in the finals (against Zara and Axel).
Yeah, I completely agree, that's a better theory. The writers have always alluded to Rocky in the show, so I wouldn't be surprised if some aspects of the storyline are similar to Rocky. I think your theory would be more plausible.
WATCHPARTY: Yeah Miguel getting rejected by Stanford was another thought that I had, I'm just hoping that it's not it though because it seems like such a small matter compared to the stakes that they already have to deal with and to be honest Miguel has always been the character that always sees the glass half full so for him to cry like that over Stanford's rejection it feel kind of forced & like he's making a bigger issue out of it then it needs to be because when it gets right down to it, he doesn't really need Stanford. Also, though it would explain his attitude in the trailer where he might feel like "what's the sense in fighting in this tournament anymore, I'm not team captain & I got rejected by Stanford" which kind of brings home what he's saying to Robby about him having the opportunity of a lifetime to be Captain & he's blowing it full circle. Like he's taking on a defeatus attitude that Johnny has to snap him out of because Miyagi Do needs him.
Him getting rejected by Stanford is liking the reason. WatchParty is right I think. The Stanford storyline is just a plot device to move the story further. No one in the fandom cares about Stanford.
I actually agree with the theory that Sam gets ambushed by Cobra Kai and severely injured. Because let’s not forget Daniel goes after Kreese and pins him to the wall in the trailer. And what happened the last those two were in that position? Kreese sent his students to attack Sam in season 3
I think Sam does actually yeah Sam does get severely injured it’s because of Cobra Kai Cobra Kai ambushes Sam and a defending Iron Dragon Axel while Axel is trying to defend Sam Cobra Kai keeps going at it making Sam not be able to fight meaning Kenny will go in and take Sam’s spot
maybe hes just frustrated about the tournament and he is just letting it all out. In the trailer we saw miguel storm out of the room so maybe those scenes take place in the same episode. johnny finds miguel and miguel starts crying and aplogizing to johnny. It would be why johnny isnt really upset.

@@Adfnnno he got deferred meaning the college will re-review his application in the spring and then decide to either reject or accept him did you not watch part 1
5:40 - Agreed. I think Miguel is crying because the Stanford stuff has finally gotten to him. He's frustrated and guilty that he can't give his pregnant mother and grandma a better life. After the sewage pipe burst and he overheard Johnny and Carmen talking about their concerns, it just amped up Miguel's urgency. Also, after seeing Hector and experiencing Mexico, he's now convinced that he must repay a debt to his mom and grandma for giving him a better life. So when he gets rejected, the feeling of inadequacy, stress of the Sekai Taikai and drama with Axel will just make everything boil over, causing him to break down in Johnny's arms. If I know anything about stories, it's that the middle of the story (PART 2) is the hero's low point. In the end, Miguel will realise that he was wrong to put that much responsibility on himself, that he doesn't "owe" anyone, and that Stanford is unimportant and not his only ticket out of poverty. (We all know the "Stanford College" storyline is weak, but don't worry, it's secretly a "Hector" storyline, and you will all love part 3 because of it).

@@Akz4200 Almost certainly. We know he's into watching MMA from Season 5, Episode 2. So, there's reason to believe he'll be watching the Sekai Taikai. That's likely where he'll see Miguel competing. Seeing or hearing Miguel's full name on TV, will be how Hector connects the dots to Carmen. Part 3 will be where it all comes together: finding an alternative to Stanford, the newborn baby, Johnny's proposal to Carmen, etc. And Hector will be in the middle of all of that as the villain. He'll probably only appear for one or two episodes though and not all of part 3. This is where my speculation gets really silly, so bear with me: Miguel may even fight Hector, using everything he's learned from his true father, Johnny. It'll be like Luke vs Vader in Return of the Jedi. Cobra Kai isn't shy about using Star Warsian themes, after all. I think someone is getting hurt/dies and this is why Miguel is crying. You can see a cart with medications in the background, meaning they are in a hospital and if that's the case that would explain why Daniel is pushing Kreese against the wall angrily. Because he found out someone dear to him got hurt by CK probably his daughter (hope she dies) or Robby. Two candidates for an attack. It all make sense when Kreese says "You got a lot to lose" that he is not talking about the tournament at all, I think he plans a murder rather it goes well or not. We do see someone holding the knife of Kim Sun-Yung, so the questions are- Who got the shank? What is the result of the attack? 3rd question- Will Axel help Sam or is he luring her to CK on purpose?
Imagine Chozen comes back at some point which I know he will giving Miyagi Fang the pressure points that he taught Daniel so they have a chance to win and possibly Mike Barnes appearing giving them his old moves from the past to beat the other dojos
One variant on watch party's idea of stanford: Miyagi Do is not doing well in the tournament and miguel accepts sam's take that doing well in the tournament is what will get him in. Miguels is particularly upset because he feels the team would do much better with him as captain. Hence you see in the trailer miguel tell robby he is blowing this opportunity. Miguel is crying because now his loss to robby in the captains fight is hitting him particularly hard-because he feels that if he had only won the cpatains fight, that he would be on his way to stanford because he believes miyagi do would win under his leadership.
Don't get me wrong, the writers have done an excellent job with this series, and I'm really looking forward to part 2, but I really hope there won't be any more relationship drama between Miguel and Sam. I know there will be between Robby and Tory, and that's fair because they haven't really had any drama in their relationship yet, but I think Miguel and Sam have already had enough.
I was thinking about the Johnny and miguel scene where they both cry . Could it be that miguel is responsible for the person who dies 😮 Imagine he spots kwon going after someone in the brawl with that knife and kicks him and kwon falls into the knife and dies. Or miguel kicks axel in a scene and axel falls unlucky into kwon, straight into the knife. So miguel blames himself and quits karate and Johnny comforts him in that scene
I’m guessing he’s crying because of something that happens during the tournament:I think it’s because Kwon will actually hurt Robby hard during the tournament which is why he’s crying I know Kwon picked up the knife and that he’ll use it on Robby during there fight that’s my guess and Kwon will get banned from the tournament and Robby can’t fight so Miguel takes his place not realizing he’s in for a rough fight
The scene where migual was crying is because migual found out that hector is back and is worried that hector will go after Carmen and migual wants to leave but dosent want to disappoint the team and Johnny goes after hector once they meet hector tells Johnny that he’s only here to see his son then Johnny is shocked because jhonny knows that hector didn’t know that migual was his son
It looks like Johnny and Miguel are in a hospital. Either this has to do with Sam getting hurt or it's about Carmen and/or the baby. Johnny has this lost look on his face. Also it seems like he's trying to keep it together for Miguel. Maybe the baby comes prematurely?
What if the reason Miguel is crying is because he feels like he is being held back. Maybe he got rejected from Stanford, AND he believes that Sam has cheated on him, AND the tournament isn't going so well, AND he has maybe not had the best beginning to the tournament, but at the moment he is crying, he has had some solid wins, but because he isn't the captain he doesn't take part in the big battles. All of this together makes him cry like this. The main take away according to my theory is that he feels he needs to prove himself - he left the All Valley in season 4 and that's not a mistake he's going to make again. PS, I love your videos WatchParty!
going to freestyle on this @2:11 while imagining tinie tempah and labyrinth lover not a fighter instrumental: what you know about setbacks , cause i get alot, what should i take on first I'm tied in a knot (eminem reference)
I think that Sam does get beat up and that’s why Miguel is crying and it’s also probably why the Larusso family was in shocked and it was probably on the tv that announced that Sam couldn’t be playing and that Kenny would be replacing her
I think it is Sam and Robby get hurt bad by the iron dragons that is my thought also maybe the other thing is she got.into the college that Sam got in and was denied I don't think they would go back on the cheating it seems repetitive and would be lazy writing. Maybe he thinks she cheated but she didn't maybe the iron dragon captain.got into the same school she did and kinda took her by surprise when he came and talked to her. BUT i feel like her or Robby getting badly hurt is what happens
Why does everyone see Hector as a very bad man? All he did was to say that Maria was only after his money, that Barmen and her mother tried to screw him and respected Miguel’s decision to leave. Yes, he is very likely a criminal, but Johnny has a long list of crimes and misdemeanors since Karate Kid 1.
Having Sam attacked and seriously injured would be bad writing because if she really could not fight then the writers would be forced to choose between 1) Miyagi DO remaining competitive with devon as the female captain which would require one to stretch their imagination way too far or 2) prematurely eliminating miyagi do from the sekai taikai-which would ruin the reason for the remaining sekai takai episodes. Remember Daniels reaction to what happened to tory was to cancel the rest of the captains fight. There is no way daniel would want to continue to have miyagi do in the tournament without Sam. Also the leaked photos should be taken with a grain of salt. It is clear from the trailer that there is a time when both Sam and Kenny are fighting together in an octagon against cobra Kai.
I can tell Miguel is crying because he either got rejected by the college he wanted to go to or He Lost someone. Idk who will die in part 2 season 6 of cobra Kai . Half says Carmen And Yaya
It looks like he’s in a hospital room rather than at the tournament. A brightly lit room that’s very white. Could be someone (maybe Robbie, Dimitri, Hawk or Sam) got hurt (or even died) or it’s the birth of Johnny and Carmen’s baby girl.
@@WatchParty1 Oh. In my defense you don't see a lot of the room in the shot. Well my theory that he's crying because someone got hurt (or even killed) at the tournament is still in the ballpark. Though some of the other comments assuming dumber reasons are also always plausible.
I think Sam gets stabbed by the knife… that’s brutal. The Sekai Taikai is interrupted and it’s complete chaos. She probably survives but that explains why Daniel has Kreese pinned against a wall and looks pissed. Probably just his grandma dies
I don’t think it ends in part 2 the tournament will go into part 3 and think a brawl will happen that will interrupt the tournament and Miguel wins the tournament and I think the finals will Miguel vs axel and. Cause I have theory that jhonny and Miguel will take back cobra Kai and Miguel will be a cobra Kai captain and Miguel beats axel in the finals and Miguel wins the sekai taki
@josephblocker2724 Rhea isn't the Captain so he won't fight Axel or Kwon in Individuals Matches. The Part 2 Trailer clearly shows Robby fighting Kwon in the Round 2 Elimination which is most likely the Boys Championship Match while Round 1 Elimination is most likely the Girls Championship Match being Sam vs Tory. Robby beats Kwon winning the Boys Championship while Tory wins the Girls Championship most likely winning the TS for Cobra Kai.
@@BumblebeeTuna8Kwons not making it to the finals we saw how easily Axel dominated him, wouldn’t make sense for Kwon to be in the finales when Axel is much better than Kwon, Kwon is a fodder as we saw in the sneak park. It should be Axel in the boys finale, not Kwon.
@JustinJames-n8c that was most likely the opening Match of the Tournament with an overly cocky Cobra Kai underestimating the defending Champions which cost them that Match. I'm sure Kreese will double down on Training and have them switch up their Strategy to where Cobra Kai defeats the Iron Dragons in a rematch. In the Trailer it clearly shows Robby against Kwon in what appears to be the Boys Championship so I stand by my Statement.

I think the breakup that Miguel thinks he sees it’s not true she’s not breaking up I think Silver is behind this telling Axel to do that with Sam to throw Miguel off balance so the Miyagi Fang
Miquel is crying because he didn’t get accepted to Stanford High School. Miquel should have contacted Samantha. Robby is a bad actor in season 1 when Robby ditched school and Hungout with the wrong crowd.
The reason Miguel is crying is because Miyagi-Do moved from 11th to 9th and failed to qualify for the next round or "playoffs"; and Miguel feels he let everybody down. Part of it is Robby's lack of leadership. He's been a thorn in Miguel's side since Day One. But then....(possible spoiler alert) it's discovered that Tiger Strike had been taking performance enhancing drugs which is a violation of the rules; therefore, disqualifies them and Miyagi-Do moving up to take their place. Then, an all-out brawl ensues among several dojos and judges. Someone dies in the melee (supposedly Kwon). The live broadcast is cut off; and the Sekai Taikai is later moved and finished at the All-Valley Arena in Los Angeles. That is for Part 3.
Maybe it's stupid but what if Miguel cries because he's mourning Tory and wants her to come back? They were once close and never spoke out. I know you wouldn't think so, but the series is supposed to be shocking. I'm sure it's at least not what we think. nothing big, no death or anything
Hey i think i know why hes whereing alot of green in charkas it means the heart and it helps us control our imbalances and even in releationship so maybe thats why miguel is wearing a lot of green because he is the heart of the team in the 2nd trailer he was the one to give motional speech and got on robby for not being a good captian because he passio ate about wining and hes struggling in his releationship with sam like the green charka repersents and if we want to go further in season 4 hawk was wearing purple mohawk and in charka purple is a sign of einlightenment and moon even said that in season 4 so if that was a scene of important we can use that same knowlege on miguel and thats why i think he weres green because he is the heart of the team.
Serious question - do you think we're ever gonna get a Jaden Smith/Jackie Chan Karate Kid crossover? I don't know about you all, but I loved that movie. It maybe that I watched it at a formative age, and I happen to also move overseas around that time and could really related to Dre in that way. Regardless of its quality in comparison to the originals, is there a possibility they would make an appearance right before the show finishes off?
@ do you have any personal thoughts/feelings about the 2010 movie? I don’t mind if you hate it lol, just wondering how it fits into the stories and canon for you.
The reason why Kenny is subbed in is because Devon gets injured due to not being prepared for the Sekai Tekai. Remember, she cheated just to get accepted as one of the 6 Miyagi-Do fighters. Kenny is prepared and is mentally ready IMO... ya'll are crazy with these theories lol
I watched another clip of Miguel crying in Johnnies arm. But in that one it had the audio. Miguel said I love her. Sam? His mom or Ya Ya? It might be Sam. Based upon leaked videos, pictures, official trailers. In one of those Miguel angrily yells about a team captain, not taking their team captaincy seriously. Sam? Because of getting into a brawl outside the touranment? Being with Axel?
My guess I hope someone doesn't make a irrational decision and lead to a 💔 up and between him and Sam as well my second thought 🤔 could be Stanford maybe rejected him. I hope it is not about his mom losing the baby. As we don't see 🙈 much of Carmen from the trailer but see Amanda larusso and the rest.
They’ve been pushing this Stanford shit and making Miguel’s whole character revolve around it and I really don’t like it bro. I understand these characters need their moments away from karate and they do that well for characters like Robby but this is not interesting

It's likely Stanford, and if it is, he's probably going to have a major win in the tournament (before a lot of turns and twists)!
It looks like Johnny and Miguel are in a hospital. Either this has to do with Sam getting hurt or it's about Carmen and/or the baby. Johnny has this lost look on his face. Also it seems like he's trying to keep it together for Miguel. Maybe the baby comes prematurely?
Axel is really helping Sam during the street fight
I feel like iron dragons will eventually become friends in pt 3 with miyagi do
What if the reason Miguel is crying is because he feels like he is being held back.
PS, I love your videos WatchParty!
going to freestyle on this @2:11 while imagining tinie tempah and labyrinth lover not a fighter instrumental: what you know about setbacks , cause i get alot, what should i take on first I'm tied in a knot (eminem reference)

yes: Line , rhyme: "bigg and some pac , mix 'em up in a pot"
@mastervarious *oh*
I think that Sam does get beat up and that’s why Miguel is crying and it’s also probably why the Larusso family was in shocked and it was probably on the tv that announced that Sam couldn’t be playing and that Kenny would be replacing her
PLEASE what is the name of the song starting in the beginning of the video? ive been looking for it for nearly a decade
The first song is Mexican Standoff by Walt Adams. It's available on Epidemic Sound. There's a link in the description near the bottom.
@@WatchParty1 Thank you so much lol
:1 Miguel’s crying because Sam got beat up like he said :2 he thinks Sam’s cheating again :3 he’s scared that he will get hurt again
Actually being anxious he would be hurt or too strained again makes a lot of sense
Probably something bad happen to Sam
I’m guessing he got a minor injury. He broke down realizing that he may not be able to compete anymore.
They always got Miguel crying but I think this might be about his grandma dying it looks like a hospital.
We Miguels are just too passionate that’s why we cry
I had lots of replies in my comment in the trailer about Miguel crying
I think that Devon is going to admit what she did to Kenny, and he's going to replace her for that reason.
I'm ready to get break down like Miguel
Another hard-hitting journalistic investigation by WatchParty. I just thought the shirt texture discrepancy was an oversight or mistake.
Well this sure aged well 😂
They always got my boy Miguel crying 😭
Bro fell off the railing and became a Cry Baby
I can tell Miguel is crying because he either got rejected by the college he wanted to go to or He Lost someone. Idk who will die in part 2 season 6 of cobra Kai . Half says Carmen And Yaya
It looks like he’s in a hospital room rather than at the tournament. A brightly lit room that’s very white. Could be someone (maybe Robbie, Dimitri, Hawk or Sam) got hurt (or even died) or it’s the birth of Johnny and Carmen’s baby girl.
Nah. It's the hotel.
@@WatchParty1 Oh. In my defense you don't see a lot of the room in the shot.
Well my theory that he's crying because someone got hurt (or even killed) at the tournament is still in the ballpark. Though some of the other comments assuming dumber reasons are also always plausible.
The only explanation is that either Sam cheated,Stanford, anyone on the team probably got injured that’s it
@@WatchParty1 2 weeks later, I am vindicated.
Carmen might give birth but he can’t get back when he was crying
Maybe Yaya has diarrhea again and Hector the Salazar got revenge buying/stealing all the Pepto in Reseda, so she couldn’t get any?
This actually makes sense. 😂
Call me crazy but they show the knife maybe he is crying bc Robby gets stabbed ? Or Sam gets hurt
That scene is Robby see the height and size difference
The reason he's crying turns out to be one of the most pointless plot points of Part 2
It’s not out yet
@@RichieW90210screeners have been out for a while
@@cakeinmilk ok. What’s screeners; test audiences?
Why is he crying?
Most likely sam gets jumped by the cobra kai's and gets brutally injured.
hopefully. i hate her
I'd be cheering tbh
Isn't axel in there
@@KarlJacobs-y8y kwon will get his rematch with axel in the street fight and win, plus they are outnumbered anyway so axel and sam could lose
In that case, Miguel would not be crying instead he will start destroying the cobra kais, one man army mode💀
I CANT WAIT FOR PART 2
Desperate for the OLD S1 S2 Miguel DIAZ with J Law's Cobra Kai.
In the trailer he’s seen opposing Johnny he’s probably Apologizing in that scene
I think Sam gets stabbed by the knife… that’s brutal. The Sekai Taikai is interrupted and it’s complete chaos. She probably survives but that explains why Daniel has Kreese pinned against a wall and looks pissed.
Probably just his grandma dies
My Theory is that the Tekai Saikai ends in Part 2 while Part 3 will be focused on the Aftermath.
@@JustinJames-n8c that was most likely the opening Match to where a cocky Cobra Kai was the first to fight the defending Champions/the Iron Dragons. Kreese will double down on them after that and adapt to where Cobra Kai defeats the Iron Dragons in a Rematch. It clearly shows Kwon fighting Robby in what appears to be the Boys Championship Match so I stand by my Statement.
I think the breakup that Miguel thinks he sees it’s not true she’s not breaking up I think Silver is behind this telling Axel to do that with Sam to throw Miguel off balance so the Miyagi Fang
I haven’t watched the video yet but predictions made me thing that he’s crying because his mom died after having Miguel’s baby sister
Idk
If it is true that Sam is cheating on Miguel with Axel then Miguel can just go for Zara Malik 💀
What if they’re not letting him compete anymore because of his back injury.
Miquel is crying because he didn’t get accepted to Stanford High School. Miquel should have contacted Samantha. Robby is a bad actor in season 1 when Robby ditched school and Hungout with the wrong crowd.
His Grandma dies.
Miguel is goat ❤❤
This is funny
Im kinda scared part 2 will get delayed
Maybe it's stupid but what if Miguel cries because he's mourning Tory and wants her to come back? They were once close and never spoke out. I know you wouldn't think so, but the series is supposed to be shocking. I'm sure it's at least not what we think. nothing big, no death or anything
His Abuela passes away. That’s my guess.
checkout twisting tiger with brandon h lee _(same guy in cobra kai)_
I just hope it’s dark to raise the stakes
Hey i think i know why hes whereing alot of green in charkas it means the heart and it helps us control our imbalances and even in releationship so maybe thats why miguel is wearing a lot of green because he is the heart of the team in the 2nd trailer he was the one to give motional speech and got on robby for not being a good captian because he passio ate about wining and hes struggling in his releationship with sam like the green charka repersents and if we want to go further in season 4 hawk was wearing purple mohawk and in charka purple is a sign of einlightenment and moon even said that in season 4 so if that was a scene of important we can use that same knowlege on miguel and thats why i think he weres green because he is the heart of the team.
this is by far the best theory i have heard and makes more sense
Serious question - do you think we're ever gonna get a Jaden Smith/Jackie Chan Karate Kid crossover? I don't know about you all, but I loved that movie. It maybe that I watched it at a formative age, and I happen to also move overseas around that time and could really related to Dre in that way. Regardless of its quality in comparison to the originals, is there a possibility they would make an appearance right before the show finishes off?
Not in the show
@ do you have any personal thoughts/feelings about the 2010 movie? I don’t mind if you hate it lol, just wondering how it fits into the stories and canon for you.
@lyricsronen better than most give it credit for. Copied the original beat-for-beat which helps.
when Sam block him on instagram
That’s why Miguel is crying
@@hashimkhan7020 good joke no one is laughing
Maybe something bad happens to hawk or something
Well sam was with axel a lot in part 2
Miguel lossed a major fight in the SekI Tekai. Which he was hoping to win. Didn't become captain. Failing his own expectations...
That sound effect 1:16
Miguels probably crying because axel injured robby and is dating sam
I watched another clip of Miguel crying in Johnnies arm. But in that one it had the audio. Miguel said I love her. Sam? His mom or Ya Ya? It might be Sam. Based upon leaked videos, pictures, official trailers. In one of those Miguel angrily yells about a team captain, not taking their team captaincy seriously. Sam? Because of getting into a brawl outside the touranment? Being with Axel?
Fake
My guess I hope someone doesn't make a irrational decision and lead to a 💔 up and between him and Sam as well my second thought 🤔 could be Stanford maybe rejected him.
I hope it is not about his mom losing the baby. As we don't see 🙈 much of Carmen from the trailer but see Amanda larusso and the rest.
I hope it’s because Tory killed Sam!
I think he was crying because Kwon had died
Awww someone died at the Sekai Takai?
I have a theory. It said there would be a death. Could Miguel be responsible and that’s why he’s upset?
The thing is that Johnny is kinda crying as well. So i hope not Yaya is dead or they lost the baby😮😮 that would kille the show
Did something bad happen to Miguel’s mother?
Miguel needs to win the sekai takai if he doesn't get accepted by Stanford because he is deferred by Stanford.
3:00 That would be sad and disappointing to see Carmen and the baby die
Poor him, if i was in this serie i gonna console him, maybe it's Sam that he worried?
It took you five business days to get to the point.
They’ve been pushing this Stanford shit and making Miguel’s whole character revolve around it and I really don’t like it bro. I understand these characters need their moments away from karate and they do that well for characters like Robby but this is not interesting
Carmen lost the baby is my guess
