    As the front of the truck goes up the incline the shocks unload or open up. I would try and get them to stay closed as much as possible. When they unload it puts all the weight on the rears and you lose pulling power. Awesome place to crawl I am jealous

      Is that the droop setup?

    • @mumblesjj

      Yes, it's desert lizard shocks with 85mm limit straps

      Thanks, I used 50wt, single soft spring up front & dual in the back (soft upper & hard lower) may change to 40wt after a few more runs

    How did u connect the rear shocks to the inside of the tralin arm?

    • @mumblesjj
      @mumblesjj  Рік тому +1

      they connect the same as the stock shock but they are not inverted like the front shocks

    Looks like too much articulation in the front and not enough in the back. Literally take the rear shocks and put them up front. And put the front shocks in the rear. You will have a much better crawler.

      both shocks are 90mm, may put ( 85mm) limit straps on the front

      @@mumblesjj are they set up the same way? If you want to limit the front just use the medium or short length spring before the plunger. That’ll give you about 50% travel in the front. It’ll really suck down the front end when climbing.

      No, the front are short soft upper with 50 wt oil/ no lower, the rear is short soft upper with 50 wt oil/ hard lower to prevent the swaybay from full extension locking

      @@mumblesjj I run medium soft spring lower and short soft upper for front shocks. Short soft lower and upper for the rear. 30wt oil all around but using the single hole pistons.

      I did not change the pistons & I prefer the slower movement of the shocks
