I'm going to be releasing a video on the QRP Labs QMX soon. You may want to hold off until you see that one. The QMX is more of a value with more features and slightly cheaper than the SW-3B. I'll try to get that video out for you as soon as I can.

Yeah, unless you are brave enough to do a kit build yourself, there is about a 6 month wait to have one built for you. :(

The only thing that I've seen that comes near it at a similar price point is the QRP Labs QMX and after the latest firmware updates, the QMX has the edge with more features like multiple DSP filters, an SWR meter and more memories for only $152 built. I should do a video on the QMX next. 73

There was a version of the firmware that let you change it by pressing the function button then the CMP/F-L button to set the low side of the filter and function then NB/F-H for the high side. Give that a try and see if it works.

You can always go back if you don't like it but I bet you'll stick with 1.78.

I realized that I lost that functionality when I upgraded to 1.79. Download the 1.78 firmware files and follow the upgrade procedure in the documentation but just select the 1.78 files to downgrade the firmware. You can always go back to a higher version if you want but I'd rather be able to easily change the filter bandwidth.

While you are in the RX EQ menu setting ,you can hit the mode button to the upper right from the VFO knob to will switch between SSB and CW right in the menu. The KX2 lets you save different RX EQ settings for both SSB and CW. Glad I could help!
