That was beautiful work and I really enjoyed watching the mass of ammonites emerging from the matrix after 180 million years. The “Bob Ross” really added the finishing touch. Thanks and I look forward to more.
Nice piece of work enjoyed it. had many happy days on the Yorkshire coast fossil collecting. You have many miles of coastline with constantly eroding cliffs. I live near the Dorset coast and mostly collect there. It's not so extensive a lot less to search, some stunningly beautiful fossils can be found but you have to work very hard most of the time to get a result. Much more competition in a compact search area, unlike Yorkshire with miles of reefs and under cliff sections.
Just Finding a death plate nodule like that is totally Amazing.. never imagined it would be packed so Full of Ammonites.. Thanks for showing us your work on it..
Love it! So cool to see the process, and would like to see more. The varnish really does make them pop. Thanks for sharing the still photos as well; you can clearly see the sutures close up, just lovely. 😊
Excellent work, is that one of the multi blocks you collected on your road trip down on the Jurassic coast, if not have you tried to prep one of the ones you collected that people said were really hard & time consuming to prep ?
Wow that's a cracking piece
Thanks mate much appreciated

That is astonishing, where did you find that?
Was found on the holderness coast in the east riding of Yorkshire
That was very interesting. How long was the process to prepare it.
Roughly 4 hours, the initial split took several hours of the prep
