The situation is this. Arteta has backed Havertz since the controversial signing. Getting Moreno fills our midfield and says Havertz is our number 9. But in Arteta's mind this would be a backup player who would develop over a couple of years. Havertz is rhe reason we're not signing Gorkores
Stop yapping. Havertz offers a lot in certain games / situations. And a goalscorer would offer us a lot too. Hence us being linked with the best on the market.
By any means It is naivness to relay on our forwards except Saka. It is risky to relay on Havertz, Jesus or martinelli. These are subs for a club competing for the league title.
Eddie Nketiah is our 3rd choice striker, has never really tied down a first team spot, hasn't really been a prolific goalscorer so a fee of around £25-30 million is a fair price.
