I don’t think there’s anyone else right now who’s bringing it like them .
Saw them in Houston last week. I was awestruck.
@@Metalfreak327 seen gojira in Manchester and London in Uk back in febuary and it was one of the best shows to attend
Meshuggah and Animals as Leaders are, but they’re all great!
@@Metalfreak327 Just saw them in Asheville last night, I was in awe the whole time. I'm a newer fan and I was blown the fuck away by them. Might be one of the best performances I've ever seen. Mastodon was amazing as well. Lorna Shore was alright.
@@tacticalteager7920 I was there, too. I'm a huge Mastodon fan but hot damn did Gojira steal the entire show. So sick!
So happy to see them playing big shows finally. Deserved
Yeah. I'm SO happy for their success!
They opened for Metallica and A7X a while back!
they’ve been playing big shows for almost a decade now what are you even talking about lol
Not this big and certainly not as one of the main bands. @@Twenty1st
yes bro look at the concert in bercy paris it was enorrrrrrrrrrmous and i was there ... 20 000 peoples
Gift of guilt is simply an amazing song, goosebumps all the time
Most underrated Gojira song for sure
@@gt_beltran42i think ocean planet is so overrated too
Mouth of kala and gift of guilt are my favorite part of rhe album!
33:39 That snare reverb
You can also hear it at the end of Born For One Thing, massive reverb sound hahaha
Saw them live for the first time in Phoenix about 2 months ago. The Gift Of Guilt is one of my all time favorite Gojira songs but considering it not being as popular and them not really playing it much anymore, I didn't think they'd play it. When Joe said this would be our last song, under my breath I said please be The Gift Of Guilt. As soon as Joe starting tapping, I knew my wish came true, and Gojira is now easily in my top 3 favorite bands
Huh? It's among their highest rated songs by their fanbase, they play it at every show
I don’t mind phones so much but SITTING DURING GOJIRA?!?! Even the statues are standing at least lol
Joe's live vox just get better and better
This is the ultimate Gojira setlist, I can't believe they introduced this setlist merely WEEKS after I saw them in Melbourne... what a sad time lol. Also the sound sounds incredible in this video I can hear all the gut punching low end
Lol
Fucking lmao. Not even close. The Remembrance outro isn't even here, and neither is Heaviest Matter, but with Art of Dying being in the list, at least that makes a little sense.
na, a lot of good songs are missing.
it's a shit setlist. go watch the link alive again.
Was there, the experience was great. All three bands gave 100%
I’m pumped I see them tonight and I’m taking my dad who doesn’t care for metal lol but boy is he in for a show
I'm up tmw night!
I went 2 nights ago in Boca Raton, FL and man were they flawless. Easily one of the top 5 shows ive ever been to.
@@lupehn haha that’s awesome! Took my dad to a dubstep show, hated the opening acts but literally lost his mind at the headliner. Dads get it!
Saw these back in 06 and wasn't a big fan, I was too young to appreciate it, now they're up there in my favourite bands. Do anything to see them againb
Gojira is like TOOLs harder experimental younger brother. They need to co-headline!
Incredible to hear how the drums sounds clearer in this footage than some actual album recordings 30 years ago 😂
or literally any black metal album
Wow, it's almost like technology has advanced far beyond what is was 30 years ago 😱
I remembering going batshit insane when backbone came on. I can actually see myself hopping in the pit at the beginning of the song
They need to play, my last creation, ocean planet the underrated songs
GREAT work... thanks so much for posting this!
Awesome 😎
Thanks for doing this, very much appreciated! Great audio and video!
They are amazing live!
Excellent upload! That was a hell of a night
wtf is with this tame audience? IT'S GODDAMN GOJIRA! MOSH AND REJOICE!
I had just thought a few seconds before reading your comment lmao there's this massive breakdown in Born For One Thing at 3:49 and you can barely see anyone headbanging, like wtf you went to see Gojira lol
goosebumps!!! It looked bonkers
Thanks for this, just saw them in PA and wanted a reminder of the bone crushing I received!
I was there, such a fun concert!
Can't believe they cut heaviest matter from the setlist
so disappointing, would have liked to see remembrance as well
They’ve played it every show since 2005 Lmao
@@Onamorata not when i saw em the other day tho lol
@@plateboycarton790 I’m saying they’ve played it every tour since 2005 besides this one
Dude we got art of dying though
Just seen the OKC show with meet and greet...was front rail...freaking amazing!!!
Saw them on this tour in Asheville, so incredible. The outro for The Gift Of Guilt blew me away. Thanks for this upload so I can relive this gnarly set!
Just saw them 5 days ago and it was amazing. Their so tight live, their sound and energy they bring is badass. I can't even begin to tell you how many people were crowd surfing during their set, bodies flying every where. It was awesome 🤘🤘
My son and I went to the L.A. show, cool to be able to relive it...thanks for sharing!!!!!
The Chant live is an absolute beast !
Thank you, absolutely awesome hearing Gojira and Mastodon smash both sets, two of my favourite metal bands in the last decade or so. Would love to see them down here in Australia soon. 🇦🇺🤘
Thanks for uploading this marvelous!! I've fallen in love with Mastodon together with this band. Period!!! I hope you enjoy the rest of the Tour 💖
masterpiece... one more ^^
Seeing them today in Salt Lake City. I’m so e excited!
This band just leaves me speechless. Good God Mind blown
I cant wait for the Prague concert in 3 days
will be insane seeing them play in person
Going to the show in Alpharetta this weekend!! Can't freaking wait. Been wanting to see Don and Gojira together for awhile now!
I was there in Alpharetta and I still can’t get over how amazing of a show they both put on. I hope they plan to come back soon!
Europes best and Americas best at one show! How lucky are we to see these amazing musicians do their thing! Phoenix, AZ a few weeks ago was AMAZING! Also, shout out to Lorna Shore too, the next big thing
Was there too!! Absolutely amazing to see my 2 favorite bands in one night even got to meet Gojira!!
I absolutely love Gojira but id be a little pissed if I went to see them live and they never played Heaviest Matter of the Universe that is the ultimate live metal song imo. Nonetheless one of the greatest live metal acts today and my god their sound engineer deserves all the accolades. Dudes an absolute beast.
Man.. That's what I was thinking. This setlist in general is just not it for me at all.
I agree, but to get The Art of Dying almost makes up for it honestly.
they are getting older and they used to play those songs all the time before Fortitude was released
it's nice to get a change every now and then
that's how I would feel if they didn't play Vacuity which I don't think they do from other vids 😑
@@cheekclappa69 they will sooner or later stop playing that . . .
if Gojira has taught us something is to embrace change m8
Saw them in Asheville, NC - they blew the roof off the place.
Joe sounds great
He really does. He struggled for a long time but it seems he's found his vocal footing and confidence again. I especially loved that laugh he added to Silvera, so good
06-06-2023 I'll see them live in Amsterdam. Can't wait.
Holy shit, Joe got "strike me down the ground again" in backbone.
My life is complete. 😭 Nah I kid, amazing show man!
NO WAY I DONT BELIEVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!
NO WAY
YES thank you for this, on 4-20 I arrived half way through their fucking set because they started the show an hour early, missed Lorna completely :( BUT I went so fucking hard for Mastodon I almost broke a rib, one of the best concerts of my life and I was so happy to finally see two of my favorite bands up close!!
See you in Detroit August 15th. 2 greatest bands in metal!
It was absolutely insane man. Hope you enjoyed them at Masonic as much as I did.
Saw them at the Masquerade in Atl back in 2010. Was front row center stage. What a badass band. Got to meet them after. Hella nice guys!!
the reverb on that snare is killer...............
Such a great playlist! I'd add VACUITY from "The Way of All Flesh" it's awesomely perfect 💥💥💥💫 Such a Blast!!👏👏👏👏👏!!!
yes! That's one i would really love to hear live.
I can’t stomach seeing them from that far away (even though I’m happy for them). I’ve seen them 4 times, the first of which was in 2006 in a 500 seat venue.
PHENOMENAL PERFORMANCE AT BOCA RATON HOLY SHIT
murdered it in chicago america needs keep bands like this above the mob of sirus radio
Can't believe theyre playing the art of dying again, I never thought they would since it's such an incredibly hard drum song, Mario is legit though.
This is the band when MeMetallica finished... 6 month.
the light guy is a magician bro
I can see myself in the crowd! Hahaha
more lights, there's not enough lights, please bring more lights. le sang de tes morts
great fucking video dude🔥🔥 &’ to clarify to anyone who may be thinking the crowd was dead, every one there was in awe the entire set🤣 my brother and i tho were losing our shit the entire time by the pit😂😂
I'm so pissed i couldn't get to this show, i bought the ticket the day it went on sale but someone attempted to steal my car and its been in the shop for 3 months
I just seen a video of them in Vegas on the 23rd and they used a countdown clock and had no front cover
Not all shows got the curtain...orhers got the 176 second countdown
@@mindofmatter071 it was 300 seconds in vegas, I think some venues cant do the curtain so they do the countdown. Pro of the countdown is everyone gets to cheer at 69
the art of dying on this is fuckin nutz
Finally, someone has a phone with a half decent mic. lol
Sad Canadians who didn't get to see them raise your hands 🙋♂️
Went to the Austin show it was great! Is there a way to find the bird image they used at the end of art of dying?
I see they're just playing the same setlist over and over. I'd like to hear The Link every once in a while.
They opened with Ocean Planet in Detroit!
Gojira and meshuggah is top
"but i dont know... yet how to die"
badass. Do they ever play Vacuity? I would be awesome to hear that one live.
That is their 5th most played song live. The last time in the US was back in 2021 unfortunately
!!!!!!! !!!!!!! !!!!!!!
ils sont énorme nos petits français vivement nimes
next time is driving down either to SAT or TheW/lands..
This shit is so tight. Does anyone know if they use a click track?
4k viewers only 135 Dumb up...cmon guys
that screen back there looks like you're high sometimes 🤣🤣🤣
Cell phones are the worst. I remember back when people just enjoyed the show.
You can both enjoy the show AND record it to enjoy it more later. I do understand the frustration about it, but it's honestly not that bad
No New Found 😢
Two
Set list?
No haviest matter😢
Dem boys good!
GOJIRA root tab8L
No wall of death?
Is this the standard setlist for 2023?
Yes, just saw them
No L’Enfant
And your mindlovethe small minds walking by
Joe sounds a bit rough here, still amazing though 🤘
Where’s explosia? Why is that not on the list? One of their best songs 😑
The number of phones in the air instead of horns is sickening...
Too short, i understand It s hard to sing like this for too long but they should play another Teo songs at least
Two
For a long time, I thought that Mario, the drummer, was the backbone of the group, thinking, 'The others can do whatever they want because Mario is the one keeping everything together.' However, after seeing them live, I now believe that the real backbone is Christian, the bassist. While the bass lines may seem simple, his role in holding the band together is absolutely vital.
Jean Michael, Christian is the guitarist. I know what you mean tho .
Setlist anyone?
I know it but dnt know how to time stamp it.. i definitely would...just seen them Sunday and it was amazing!!! I was on the rail in front of Christian and Joe!🤯🤯🤯🔑🌐
In OKC. ALL 3 Bands KILLED IT...But GOJIRA ripped it fucking out!!!!
Silveria, art of dying, gift of guilt, every single one from born for one thing that opened!!!!
Sick,sick,sick!!!
Gojira=Life 🌐🌙🌐⚡️
It’s in the timeline, and description at the top of the vid
Ok cool thanks
The crowd don't move because this is real music. Lololololololololol they don't know what to do or think.
salten flojos qls
The light show is far too intense. Gives me a headache.
Fans don't make shitty bootlegs
I love Gojira, but this setlist is kinda mid.
Wow no heaviest matter 😮💩💩
1:10:43 the fills ❤❤❤
did not attend but I will be pissed if my favorite group would stay on stage 65 minutes actually.
