You can place an empty chest at the entrance to your base.
Check the Survivor box in the bottom of the inventory display.
This will allow your recruited helper to empty their pockets of all Ore's, Gems, Wood and stuff whenever you return to the base.
They do not remove food, potions, or weapons/cloths though.
If you leave some wood bundles in that chest they will refill all your wood burning crafting/cooking benches periodically.
This is by far the clearest easiest guide I've found for explaining armour crafting. I worked out the tools/weaps fairly easily but working out how to get armour above 255 is more obscure. You've really helped me, thank you so much.
Also meant to say, would LOVE a guide on how to farm better hides and meat. Out in the world (ie apart from Jana) I can only find T3, so I'm stuck with 211 gear as far as I can tell. Many thanks for this vid again!

Don’t sleep on the tier 4’s as well. I have to go back and now actually look at them. Desert fiber for instance at 4 is better than 5 imo. It’s 25/15/10/20 vs 20/15/10/25. You’re trading 5% max stamina for heat resistance. I’m crafting up items now to actually compare them for min/max but I’d kinda been going off of 5>4 previously.
Yes, you are right. In the case of fibers I also would go for tier 4 because of the better attribute stats
Those don't matter very much actually, you can keep fusing materials over and over again past it's normal limits, I have like 4000 HP and 300 Stamina with Carry Capacity of like 1300. And I'm conservative.
I have a Webly Revolver that does 20k per hit and 300k crits, and a Slingbow that does 50k AoE with Lightning Marbles... LOL.

@@hiimrev345 8k hp, 400 stamina, and able to zoom across the map with my brand new shoes with over 4000% move speed buffs needed.
Paper + Coating recipe, you can reapply it.
So you basically just need a ton of coatings, and find ways to pass stats from "Meat" and Plant Fibers to metal/lumber parts.
Textiles are impossible since there is no "reclaim" recipes, but looking for a loophole since Tender steaks can turn into animal fibre.
You need to chop the stumps also to get more wood!
Regrow spell also lets you grow it again and avoids running around trying to find more.
I still can't figure out how to even make the tools to be able to farm this stuff...

A showcase of the step before this of crafting your pick, axe, knife, and sickle to be able to access these materials is a missed opportunity. I think you'd find that would do quite well views wise. This topic seems to be a gap in what is out there at the moment. Ideally, you'd want to cover each of the teir jumps for the harvesting/mining tools gear score; 10, 40, 100, 200, 230, etc. rather than just the high end....but hey there are 3 or 4 different vids ideas that would do well. Tier 100 and 200/230 may be the first ones to tick off though.....
True, I might make another video showing the midgame materials, too. For the topic of this video it would be too much, since it is already 30 minutes long
@CassimoTV Makes sense to divide it up, an individual player is likely only looking to get past one hurdle at a time. Unless you are creating a overview guide of how to Progress into and through each of the tiers with minimal details (maybe as a video tying a series of other videos together that have the extra details).
But ultimately there isn't much point in showing someone where they can find T2-T5 materials to harvest/mine if they don't have the tool to collect it.

Do you notice the NPCs in the end game? Run around The Watch and look at all their faces.
Then answer this:
"Where's all the anglo-saxon type of people go?"
Probably at Nightingale city? Or will they 'wash' over that lore once more of the game comes out? Who knows?
Also apparently for some reason Coffee was a 'newer' implementation to the game, and yet they had it turn into 'Tea & Biscuit' down in it's crafting tree for food... What?
How can you be at endgame? So sad you finish a game like this a week.
He hasn’t even gotten the next tier of gear from the watch t4 or tools. So still a road ahead.
