I look forward to see how you are getting on with those kits!
Terrific presentation great video
@@kreeger2010 I appreciate that feedback
I'm a theatre nurse so i work with scalpel blades every day. The numbers on the blades represent the shape of the blade and there are lots of shapes available. There are only two main fittings, a number 3 blade handle, the smaller one and a number 4 blade handle, the larger one. Yours looks like a number 4 so the blade types that will fit it are 20, 23, 24 to name a few. The smaller number 3 handle uses numbers 11, 10 and 15. There are many others but they are the common ones that i use every day. Hope that helps.
@@martincase7515 That's super helpful! and I'm going to try and order some for the number 4 handle
Thanks Andy, used to love building radio kits, although I have not seen this one before.😀😀
Hopefully you will enjoy it when I make this project
That was a nice haul. Those kits look like fun.
@@terrybaileysr.3714 Thanks 👍
Thanks for tool video tour! I think I will buy some of the items. The ruler and the memory tester.
I am happy if some items were interesting. If you find any more things send me what you find so I can check it out as well
Great selection of tools you picked up.
Love that titanium scalpel, much better than the regular ones I use.
Edit: also love those 2 kits you got, look like fun protects to assemble.
@@klorslug Thanks it's definitely a nice scapel I should have shown the luminous tubes with my light turned off
Before using that ruler as a ruler I recommend that you check it against a real one. I bought a couple of different pcb ones, and the cm/inch errors were horrendous. Useful for checking smds though. Are the pads the device size or do they include the soldering area? I got one of each as it turned out - it's ok once you know, but potentially will catch you out.
@@georgeprout42 Thanks for the heads up. I believe the measurements for SMDs will be the soldering aera not the actual size of the component
@@JFIXX1 No no, SMD are measured by their size, but anyway its done by caliper or by placing on ruler.
Nice tools! Did you made any progress with the repair on that laptop?
@@SymbolTech21 No unfortunately I had no time to do it yet but I have some good ideas from all the comments
@@JFIXX1 That's good in case you get stuck again if you don't mind to send it to me to have a look as well and to make a video on it!

@@timruhe4157 Thanks Tim for your suggestion! I will check out the items you recommended. I already have the Miniware screwdriver I really like it I already made a video about it.
Why does everyone call me Andy? It's not my name haha
Hi tbere,
Very good video. Could you please provide the links for these items?? Cheers
Hi all links I put in my description. I tried to find the sellers with the best prices but also have a look around check around as some sellers offer discounts sometimes
Love your precision knife
Hate the pencil. Don't use it on PCB, though it works really well, because carbon conducts, and so does the powder caused by it too
@@karltest1314 Sorry I forgot to mention that the pencil was not really anything to do with electronics but I needed to choose an extra item for the 'choice' section to get the free delivery

for kets you are going to build I highly recommend instead buying an arduino and put some videos about how to program a microcontroller.
Doing those kind of videos helps alot the viewers about how does the bios and EC chip works.
@@akhtarmohammad6205 Good recommendation! I have some Raspberry Pi PICO boards I have very kindly been sent to me. I'm looking forward to diving in to some projects. I am thinking of making a UA-cam subscriber counter. If you have any more suggestions I'd love to have a go
