You need to prime the oil filter and check that you have no leaks and good oil pressure. You can turn the engine over with the starter with the stop pulled out. Once the correct oil pressure is registered, you can safely start your engine. Then, recheck your oil level at the dipstick.
Thanks for sharing Your knowledge and experience to this video. A previos viewer was telling me the same, so I put a note in the description. Thanks again
btw that Biltema oil pump fits directly to the engine oil removal pipe, but then oil change needs to be done inside of the boat, might be more difficult... Old oil filter removal is always messy :( I drip oil even I use plastic bag. nice video
Thank you @mika oyry. I have been thinking of making a more permanent setup, with a tube mounted to the engine, leading to a comfortly place and perhaps a fixed quality pump. Actually I manage to drop the filter out of the bag, but it was cut away 😀
Good video! A little tip…. Always start the engine to get the new oil filter filled, and THEN read the oil level one last time afterwards.
Very good point. I will put your advise in the description.
Thanks alot👍

I hope you can explain the refrigeration cycle in detail
Do you mean the seawater/freshwater system?
@@SailingBlueBird Thanks for answering yes
