Well, he also killed a bunch of innocent people and didnt care about it. He does not have a moral compass, just the Harrys code, which he is not bound to and always tries to make an angle from which people would fit the code.

He doesn't have a strong moral compass, he was TAUGHT and engrained to feel a certain way but he doesn't actually feel that way.
