This is honestly the best Parliamentary America althist i've seen. Most others just copy and paste our own history, and assume that the speaker is the prime minister. I think most disregard fact that if the US Parliamentary then it might flip the relationship of the House and Senate. Since in a Paraliamentary America, the House would more legitimacy as they represent the people while the Senate, the States.
Thank you! Honestly, I do wish I'd focused a bit more on the Senate than I did, because controlling, or at least balanciing it, was so vital to the leadup to the civil war. I'm not necessarily sure how that would actually go - especially since even here I transferred a lot of our history over - but it would be pretty drastic no matter what
Yeah honestly the civil war part of this was highly flawed; first of all, with House supremacy, the Senate doing much against them would quickly become very controversial, which means that the tensions will spike much higher much faster. In addition, peace candidates didn't exactly flourish in the midterms of OTL.

The only thing I disagree with is that after 2 years the USA and CSA would white peace, I think they would continue fighting.
