Weapons being tied to classes has always been a staple of Battlefield, which this is a clone of. It's not a bug. It's the preference of everyone who plays battlefield type games. No one wants speed boosted sprint sniping like COD in this type of game.
I believe he was implying that some weapons don’t give other class the full arsenal. For example, the medic/support call can use all of the smgs but the recon can only use a few.
except xdefiant is actually crap and isnt killing cod and delta force hawkops is actually really good (and not even fully released) and is killing both battlefield and possibly cod and most def killing xdefiant

yes I agree, even that all classes can use rifles like M16A4 etc, I'm already happy that sniper rifles are only for recons, and rocket launchers only for engineers
Love your content @eColiEspresso, been watching you for so many years. The weapons being locked to a specific class is a Battlefield Mannerism, Called the Class System. This game is very hyped in that community, and without a class system, I could see that fanbase riot like they did for BF 2042.
No no no ... Locking weapon class under specific operator class is a must . Imagine they do mistake like dice and give anti armour weapon to everyone and make tanks like nuclear bunker ( if you play solo) because there is potentially everyone with rocket launcher . The outcome was as a tank user u were wiped instantly but if you play solo u have to move back as u wasn't able to destroy tank on distance on your ownt . Very very odd It was MASSIVE MASSIVE mistake they never recover from that even after locking certain weapon class under certain operators

it arguably plays better, both maps in this alpha play better than the majority of 2042 maps, gunplay and atmosphere is better than 2042. everything feels grounded in Delta Force. the only thing 2042 does better is the vehicle play, Delta Force's vehicles don't feel up to standard yet.

It's kind of annoying how many streamers have access and keep saying everyone should try it, when it's so hard to get access. I've been signed up on the website and steam since before alpha launch, still no code. 😅
New map is supposed to come the 16th. I hope they leave the alpha up for a while. only my brother and I have managed to get keys. I want all my friends to have a crack at this. I'm loving it. I think they did great catering to both BF, CoD ground war and Tarkov/ dmz fans to give something different. I have many friends still on console so i cant wait to cross play with them as well.

It’ll be out on console, I liked defiant it’s aight, but goddamn this game is awesome, they have done battlefield better than battlefield has been done in years for me, it’s only a bit but hopefully soon we’ll get it on console and mobile cause it’s great, (not a broken mess even in its alpha is not something u see with games now a days)

Two very different gameplay loops and offerings though so I do think that both are great, free to play options for FPS fans. I wish I could figure this game out better. TLDR: would love a tutorial video for someone who has no clue what they are doing. Never played any kind of survival or looting game before. So this is all new and it’s hard to figure out. The health system, you mentioned is super easy…I find it super hard… I keep injecting myself, and wasting it, not sure what the injecting does .. I feel like there’s a health bar and I thought the injector would like make the Health bar go back up but it sometimes does… I’ve never played this kind of stuff, so it took somebody else to tell me that I needed the surgical kit thing when I hurt my leg … I tend to jump off everything from the second to the first floor and breaking my legs. I kept loading in with a couple of injectors and a couple of the red bags, but those don’t fix broken legs … When I’m hurt I can never tell what I need, do I need the surgical kit or the big bags or the injectors … whatever I need I typically don’t have on me I pretty much have nothing in my inventory as I never was able to successfully extract single time and was always killed by an enemy player They come out of nowhere and never figure out where they are …. Don’t understand how people figure out where anyone else is A few times that they did not get the jump on me, my gun is never powerful enough to kill them … I lost all the decent guns you start with so I kill some AI character and use his gun. Looting is very confusing for me as I am never sure what to take … when I find another person with like a better vest or backpack than mine I get very confused when I’m trying to switch them… it seems like it ends up putting their vest inside of my backpack or their backpack inside of my backpack instead of like switching out packs.. I feel like I need someone over my shoulder, teaching me how to play a game like this before I can enjoy it Like I said without a single successful extraction …all I do is lose everything. You should some people play the extraction mode. If you hover over your body in inventory, you can see injured and there is also item description. And dying is normal, you won't be as good as streamers from the start

Try clicking on the red part of the wrist and nothing happens… Tried drag over One of the injection booking things out of my bag onto the wrist and nothing happened… none of it is intuitive Also like my health bar was down and I held the button to get the medical wheel up and give myself one of the shots which started to make the health bar increase but it didn’t go up that far, gave myself another shot and the health bar didn’t go up anymore, still the same, yet still wasted an injection 1. I wish they would categorize the items better, like these things are for healing body parts, these things are for health bars, etc. I’ve read some of the descriptions and it’s not fully understandable and I feel like there’s 100 different items in the health section, how am I gonna sit there and try to read all of them when I’m being shot at and have to heal quickly? 3. Very much dislike the fact that you can hurt different parts of your body… I just want an item that fixes anything I’ve got wrong, with a quick push of a single button… I wish there weren’t so many variants. This game is already so good. Sincerely the best Alpha I’ve ever played. Gameplay & gunplay is amazing, they executed the multi mode better than Battlefield & the extraction mode better than Tarkov
i've been seeing stuff about this for a handful ofdays now, as a PS5 player, i cannot wait to play thing. older batlefield games were my jam. hyped for this for an alpha the game looks and seems pretty solid.
It's not a bug. The operators function like the og classes from BF 4 and 3 where only certain guns were tied to classes. That is what I and the BF community hate about the specialists who can use any weapon.
There's no way this is a shot at me... I never *once* said XDefiant was the COD killer and nowhere in any of the Delta Force coverage did I say this was a BF killer, you're literally making things up if that's aimed at me.
The irony is, Delta Force is going to kill Battlefield for at least the next year. 2042 is dead and over, content got cancelled with season 7, older BF games are stale and boring. Delta Force is going to take the Battlefield playerbase until the next BF, just like XDefiant has taken the MW III playerbase until Bo6. The only real killer, is the games and companies itself, but Delta Force so far has been recieved extremely well, most of the BF playerbase love it.
The game looks great, I played the OG Delta Force games: 1,2, 3 and Black Hawk Down, "Irene I repeat IRENE!" the game was just like the movie. Cant wait for this to come out on console 🪖🔥

The extraction part is pretty good been playing since they had the closed alpha, confidential is pretty hard though.
First game for me since BF1 that scratched that BF itch. If DICE/EA are smart they will go back to class limited kits.

I can play on my scuf envision pro controller. It’s very responsive and smooth. But without any aim assist against K&M it’s rough. But very playable

I hate the footsteps. They are so loud. I had my speakers on and I could hear footsteps all the way in my kitchen away from my pc.

i've been seeing stuff about this for a handful ofdays now, as a PS5 player, i cannot wait to play thing. older batlefield games were my jam. hyped for this for an alpha the game looks and seems pretty solid.

It's not a bug. The operators function like the og classes from BF 4 and 3 where only certain guns were tied to classes. That is what I and the BF community hate about the specialists who can use any weapon.

There's no way this is a shot at me... I never *once* said XDefiant was the COD killer and nowhere in any of the Delta Force coverage did I say this was a BF killer, you're literally making things up if that's aimed at me.
The irony is, Delta Force is going to kill Battlefield for at least the next year. 2042 is dead and over, content got cancelled with season 7, older BF games are stale and boring. Delta Force is going to take the Battlefield playerbase until the next BF, just like XDefiant has taken the MW III playerbase until Bo6. The only real killer, is the games and companies itself, but Delta Force so far has been recieved extremely well, most of the BF playerbase love it.

The game looks great, I played the OG Delta Force games: 1,2, 3 and Black Hawk Down, "Irene I repeat IRENE!" the game was just like the movie.
