if you have the book and then inspect the ‘five guests murdered’ msg on the attic wall, you hear a little girl laughing. if you then go in your inventory and look at the book, it has the first of several clues that appear one at a time, each appearing when you point the combined hand /finger at certain objects around the house, the 2nd clue is if you point the dummy finger/hand at the book case under the clock and your controller then vibrates. you can initiate the first clue before you are infected but i believe the other ones require you to be infected. you can get infected just by being hit once by the molded monster. and in the true ending you can’t be infected.
Sora Kira no you can open the door after doing some stuff there's a rocking chair and a wood sign that says something and you get a coin that will transfer to the main game.

nah, you have to travel half world, fight 4 apocalyptic monsters to get 4 individual numbers that are for a combination lock, then make your way to the safe which is guarded by another apocalyptic monster, use the numbers to open the safe to get human hair strand so you can tie it to the end of a hook you found, then go hand it to a woman, who has longer hair than the strand, and have her use it to get the key out of the drain while you guard... WHILE there's also a timer.

You can kill it with bullets and the axe, takes quite a lot. But when it 'dies' the screen goes black for a couple of seconds and then it just isn't there anymore? :S

I killed the creature in the basement. I shot his arm off and finished him with the axe. Finally a real thing to kill in this demo.

Spoilers: The hand/finger combo pointed at 5 key locations (Vibration/Creepy Noise) will put notes in the book after you get it. All 5 will opening the attic room (Door will get bloody hand prints) and you get a GOLD COIN. I heard it carries over to the main game from the demo save file.

Albert Wesker its originally from the GameCube remake and they reused it in 4 & 5. And not to mention the empty trigger sound effect is also reused from the GameCube. Not sure about 4 & 5 can't remember.

Honestly when I grabbed the back door key and was already prepared to run, I literally saw Jack walk by the hallway then I turned around and quickly ran back for the hidden area which is the small door that you crouch to go in
Resident Evil 7 is the perfect social experiment of people accepting or refusing change. So much hate came from it not immediately being a zombie shooter game, to there seemingly being nothing linking this to the other games. Change seems to be too jarring for gamers let alone the rest of the world. Then if they did make it the same as the previous games, there would be whining about nothing standing out in this game.

You need to see the ghost during the flashback video at least once or twice to trigger the giggle on the doll. The ghost can be seen on the porch, through the window in the kitchen up the stairs or in the room under the stairs.

It's a ghost of a girl. There's been videos made of her. In fact, at the beginning of the journey, you can spot her before you enter the house. Just turn around and look into the dense forestry right behind you. Find the youtube videos in here about it.

You can just go ahead and get the fuse, get the basement key, dodge the monster without even relying on the tape less than 5mins to finish.

Arturo Gonzalez that's what you call speed running got it on my second try, you can also miss a few stuff like the lock pick for the axe so no need for the videotape and handgun rounds on the stairs
but this isn't a speed running video is it? the way he played it makes it feel more realistic and builds more suspense. It's not all just about the result, sometimes it's about the process.
Nope didn't try to speed run. I had experience with the previous builds of the demo looking for secrets and what not though.
I never said it's a speed run video, what I did in my own time IS the speed run when I got the pattern down because I took all the secret first try and like I said before I did miss a lot of stuff on the second time because of my speed run, didn't get any other stuff only the important ones the keys to get the hell out of house which is the main objective.

Imagine if Resident Evil got canceled by Capcom instead of Silent Hills PT by Konami and Silent Hill franchise keeps growing with new titles and remakes but Resident Evil just stops after this demo, and only first person Resident Evil experience we had is this demo just like what happened with PT. Kind of a weird alternative way to turn out like what if the roles switched :D

Obviously, this is his fifteenth or so run in this game. Having the brightness up allows for better recording quality and allows him to beat the demo in a faster time and clear manner.

The high contrast between the darkness from inside the house to the intense light that comes from the windows makes the place feel really unnatural, and also the added gore and blood (specially in the back door room and the bath) makes the environment feel a lot more hostile. The lack of music and the constant sounds around the guest house help a lot too. Overall I feel the ambience is way better done on the demo, the main game does a really good job too don’t get me wrong, but playing the demo nowadays still makes me feel uneasy

Danno1932 You can't play pt because it was removed from the store. even if you have an account that has downloaded it before it still won't download cause it was removed from the servers. there are other ways to get it but they require a computer and different programs that trick The ps4.

We don't know yet, but i'm betting money on the Bakers either being former Umbrella subjects (from the picture next to the telephone) or former Umbrella employees who happened to steal some experimental crap when the company dissolved. It's in the same world as the previous games, though, otherwise it wouldn't be Resident Evil *7*.
I'm not sure, but I have a feeling that if you play the full game you'll find out. I once watched a movie where I didn't know the story until I watched it all. Crazy!
Derptron459 Andre states that they weren't crazy hillbillies, just out on their own. So I hypothesize that they were experimented on, and Umbrella kept tabs on them (hence the picture of the heli and on the back written "Are they watching us?").
@@Catdogomeow It's a soft reboot. Basically they are starting over with a clean slate, so that you don't need to have played the previous games to enjoy it. RE7 still includes references to past events, so it's not erasing what happened in RE 1-6, but the story in this one is self contained.

Madhouse level this important to know save a lot of Alberto , Magnum , and Shot guns ammo because later on you will definitely need it another good thing is saving extra spaces in any levels just in case there are items you missed the first time around during the beginning I'll use the pocket knife cause them Venom rejects are not invincible an give Mia a nice hug and kiss .
