Nice video! I had a Chalet for years and loved it. Many happy camping nights with wife and dogs. Our leaf springs broke rather quickly even though we bought the trailer new. Hopefully yours already has upgraded springs. Also, after a few years the rear bubble window popped up. Not too hard to fix, but it’s something to keep an eye on. Finally, I would check all of the caulk every fall. That camper endured several very strong windy rain storms plus a lot of snow. I hope yours brings you great happiness, too.
Thanks for sharing the RV LED DImmable lights you upgraded your A frame camper with. Congratulations on the new camper, hope it suffices until you can go bigger!
My family was given a pop up camper that no one had ever used the features, ie heater, fridge, porta potty, ect in. I got everything working, i added LED bulbs into the existing fixtures but im definitely getting a couple of the lights you used! Ours isn't perfect but we stayed in it a couple times last summer and it worked great. Fact it was free made it even better!🤣
Thanks for posting some of these on the A-frame Technical Resource Center FB group. I liked the wood cover and figured you knew what you were doing because it looked like it met code for wind, etc. You mentioned that the refrigerator doesn't cool well. You might want to review an article on the tech group on how to take care of this issue with a high-tech dual fan system that would greatly improve cooling, reduce propane use, and extend the life of the 3-way fridge. The upper vent on these doesn't allow for easy access or much air flow. My biggest concern is that of adding wind protection for the side walls and the roof panels. You might enjoy reading my articles on making some upgrades to prevent the side walls, etc. from blowing in during windy weather. I would guess that it could occasionally be a bit windy there. Impressive video and effort. Thanks again for sharing your fun to watch videos! Also: I have a bunch of bubble wrap in the attic for a future project. Now I see a use for it to insulate the windows in cold areas! I never thought of that for repurposing this material.
Appreciate the tips! I'll definitely check out those articles. The fridge should technically work off from 12v though, right? Would I need the battery hooked up? Right now I have the whole trailer on an extension cord, plugged into the Solar Shed right next to it. I was assuming the AC to DC converter in the trailer would provide 12v power to run the fridge, but man, it just doesn't seem to be doing much. I should probably build the wall support before I leave, we'll see if I have time! Appreciate the comment a lot, thank you Hovander!

Don't really want to go bigger, I like this thing!

Hard to beat free! yeah those lights are worth every penny, you won't regret them.
@@ADDvanced yup, my moto is the only thing better than cheap is free! 😉
For my camper, I usually use Dicor sealants. Stays more flexible than silicone, so when towing, it doesn't tear.
Great tip! I actuallyh used some dicor to fix that part of the window

That’s a pretty clean little unit, my friend’s dad travels with one all over the west.
Surprisingly big inside for how small it is outside. Love it so far.
That's a very cool camper, sure you'll enjoy it. Good pick up on the get it up pun Sarah, lol
Haha
Very nice!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Those are awesome campers!
I barely ever see them for sale, it seems like people who own them rarely sell them.
Exactly because they are so cool and useful.@@ADDvanced
I love my A Frame camper. I hope you enjoy yours as much as
We are using it as a guest house, stay tuned for updates!
This thing is AWESOME!
Thanks! It's pretty interesting; I have wanted one for a long time but they're usually $12k and up.
That’s cool! I like it . Fast set up
Super fast setup! It's nice because it's fairly easy to tow, not a lot of drag, but 1 minute later it's usable.
Awesome!!!! I bought a similar 2008 Aliner, had to do some rebuilding tho!
Which parts? My floor is a little soft.
@@ADDvanced pretty much everything! Floor, walls, roof. It was totally gutted
You said cheap camper. Just how much was your initial purchase for the A frame? I am looking at an A frame in my area. Thanks for making the vid!!
Looks like fun. Add a wood stove, put some skis on it and tow it with two snowmobiles? I'll watch that.
Oh man, lol. Maybe on a lake? It’s so wide it wouldn’t fit on any trails
@@ADDvanced Thinking toboggans.
It's not a tent top, that is nice ..
I hear these leak when the rain is heavy and blowing in….also cant bears or criminals break in easily…
No leaks here, and no, these are allowed in camp areas w bears. Pop up campers are not. Criminals can break into anything with a window.
No bathroom? Other then that I like it.
Only concern you have is it being Bear proof, always have a gun able t stop a Bear inside of camper in Bear country
Facts!
Yeah there is only one exit. Lol.
I love it. I’d put a lift on it and take that thing off road
They make them, I might get around to that some day!
@@ADDvanced could probably get away with just using some axle blocks
