Launched out of catawba heading to the reefs jigging. We only pulled one fish to show for our efforts and that was trolling. A bad day on the water beats the heck out of being home or at work. I plan on getting back on the reefs soon. It'll only get better.

The area up on the reef was going good till midday then went downhill when we showed up
You will get into them like how you show how it is some days can't get a bite. Like your videos.

Looked like Toledo lighthouse in the background, did you try around Turtle Island ? usually have luck right around the island early in the year.

Tom, your absolutely right. My son and I was all over Maumee Bay Saturday with not even a bite. Marked tons of fish again with no success. A bad day on the water, but a great time with my son.
We caught 12 over 2 days trolling. Water not quite 40 degrees yet, we were seeing 37.5. Jig should be here in a few weeks

The net handle is a old handle from years ago, not sure what brand. The net itself was bought last year from janns netcraft.

ive been running charters which has taken up alot of time and yes we are in the brawl. I'll drop some videos when i get things straightened out.
My boy and I limited at the Huron Dump NE corner on Saturday. Color or setbacks didn't seem to matter. Took 3 hours to get a full box. Just an fyi. 70 back on bandits was our highest lure, and caught down to the bottom.

I heard. There's guys who run ten pound test mono on there boards. My question is why ? I know there's a reason.
Thats the standard for the precision trolling bible. We tried 10# for a few years with to many break offs loosing lures boards etc etc. Swithed to power pro and all that went away.
What's the limit on scales and how many for a meal???😋
