Indeed for what I seen this feel like a real continuation for the Dark Souls trilogy(On response that Elden is DS4, It was too much of It own thing Imo, way less darker, diferent take on exploration and bosses,etc )
Lets expect that more mods learn for this, and not the stuff I've seen like "Scammer of Eyes" or whatever is called.

@@Jormyyy There are a lot of animations in Elden Ring that can be traced back to older games. Erdtree Spirits famously are a reskin of the Asylum Demon. The Gargoyles from Thralls in DS3, etc.

Which one was from Sekiro? I noticed many Elden Ring influences but except the Bell didn't identify anything else remotely alluding to Sekiro.

Give it a week, and he'll come out with a new mod called "Garden of Archthrones" that's just a copy and paste of this mod with the lighting values changed and charge 20 bucks to play it.

1:15 is Aava's arena in Frozen Eleum Loyce
1:20 is the arena of the Ivory King!
Somehow I missed Heide's Tower of Flame but saw the other two. A less ruined Heide's Tower and frozen version of the old chaos is interesting.
This is the closest thing we can get for a ds2 remake!
Looks like this might be inspired by how Lothric had a lot of lore ties to Drangleic, seeing as this appears to be a DS3 prequel.

Silver Knight Erdan with Armoured Warrior's moveset is so nice, Armoured Warrior has one of the best boss movesets in my opinion

how the hell did you get it to work? I've been trying to install the mod for 5 hours and it won't connect to the server to download. Manual install also isn't working lmao. I'm so hyped I just want to play

@@wr5488 this mod wont be as big as an dlc tho. Anyway i play fromsoft for lore and New encounters. Hope they put alot of lore into this mod. A big downside for this mod is for me its bosses which arent new encounters. Knowing their movesets makes it also less exiting. But im rly hyped for ER dlc because of the unique boss Design plus moveset shown to us. I hope modders try to make more new movesets instead of coping alot. But thats just my preference. Maybe you enjoy the ds3 Art style more then ER and are hyped more for this mod then for ER dlc.

@@wr5488 honestly, with Bloodborne being the exception, most (!) non humanoid bosses were shitty compared to their Dudes-In_Armor equivalent. Even Bloodborne has arguably better humanoid bosses than monsters, Ludwig being the exception.
Naming the most famous / memorable bosses in each Soulsborne game most likely results in a lineup of humanoid bosses
DS1 - Artorias / Gwyn
DS2 - BVI / Sir Alonne / Fume Knight
DS3 - Gael / SoC - Nameless King
BB - Lady Maria / Gehrman / Kos / Ludwig (exception)
Sekiro - Isshin / Genichiro / Owl
Elden Ring - Malenia / Godfrey / Radagon
This mod has been on my radar for about a year now. Dark souls 3 is my favorite game and helped me through the hardest times of my life. It quite literally has brought tears to my eyes to see the love and care put into enhancing it to become this masterpiece. I can’t wait to devour the demo and I can’t wait to have the whole thing. Thank you, and don’t you dare go hollow
Crazy how Souls has actually changed people's lives and way of thinking. Only game franchise I have ever seen do that on such a large scale. Souls taught me that if you try something enough times, you will eventually get it. This way of thinking convinced me not to quit my job as an electrician, even though I sucked at first and lost my leg a few years ago. Not quitting was the best decision I have ever made, and it's now a great and lucrative career for me. I swear on my mother's good name that if it wasn't for the mindset that Souls instilled in me, I would have borderline no direction in life.
@@mikeyswift2010 couldn’t agree more. I remember throwing myself at Iudex Gundyr for an hour and looking up if there’s an easy mode. I had to learn how to adapt and how to deal with incredibly difficult situations. The skills I’ve learned and the fantastic world to escape into helped me get through engineering school and, more importantly, helped me crawl my way out of the hole that is ptsd. I am eternally grateful to souls games, my life would be so different without them

Voice acting actually seems solid! I noticed a lot of harsh sybalance in the recordings, though, hope you fix that, needs some proper dialogue editing.

Even if this Comment wont get any attention, please add just a slight bit of reverb for the voiceacting. It grounds the NPC´s in their environment and makes it sound less like a voice recording 2mm away from the mic. Its a small thing, which adds a lot.
Otherwise this looks superb, and im excited to try it!
Second that. A little reverb makes it sound closer to them talking to you in person vs from a studio 😊

I played this mod from around 9:30 PM to 3:40 AM. IT IS SO GOOD MAN
Also if anyone knows, what exactly do they mean by "demo", is it basically a beta? I encountered a couple spots where I don't think I can progress any further but I don't know if I'm just missing something or that's as far as the level goes at the moment
For example, the fog walls right after you beat the boss at the highest point in the Heide's Tower of Flame area

It’s EXTREMELY difficult to create wholly new movesets in these games through modding. Repurposing already existing ones in fresh ways is pretty much the only way new bosses and enemies can exist in fromsoft mods
@@datking8762 What was made right here is already a pure technical prowess. They even added new attacks, imported some from other FS games... Crazy stuff i tell you
Can u play the Demo in Multiplayer like regular Dark Souls?
I hope so, I purposly got banned to play other mods with friends. just so we could play on the banned server with no issues. if the game has a soapstone then I think we will be able to coop

@@karljuliuzseems like archthrones uses a seperate server, so no need to get banned :) but for mods like cinders, you can coop on a banned server.
