Thanks Dad and genius Todd. I like the “theme” of Todd the inventor; just amazing 😻 Does anyone else want Dad to patent Todd’s inventions, so he could stay home every day?
It was really sweet seeing Todd let Glamour have a turn on the butterfly whirly. Almost like he's thinking "Yeah, that's right! I invented that!" 😂 He is just so stinkin' adorable! And smart too! And it's also so nice to see how you never seem to get frustrated that he's asking for something new while you're trying to work. Many dads wouldn't be so willing to be interrupted so many times each day without losing their cool. Your human kids & grandkids hit the jackpot with you! It's SO nice to watch!
That puts so much context into how my late kitty would joyfully join me when i opened the sewing drawer because sometimes i would craft her mousies and other toys out of buttons, string and fabric.
I like to think that Todd is extra proud of inventing the Butterfly-whirly. Glamour being so enthusiastic & Todd having previously suggested toys for Glamour.
Dad, Thankyou so much for sharing Todd and his siblings.. having these small uploads, atleast for me, really help to start up my day uplifting.. especially because I am homebound.
He was immediately interested when you made his requested invention and zilch with individual components. No mistaking what he was asking for. So smart!
Willy wonka cat toys, that's a fantastic name!! 😊🎉 Todd is so smart to be able to ask for these things, and you're smart for knowing what he's asking you! I'd just be really confused probably. 😅😂 ❤❤❤ give extra pets to the cats from me, please.
The amount of time Todd must spend thinking of things amazes me. I'm quite sure my girls have never thought more than, "I wish Mom would get up and feed me." And "When is Mom gonna put more litter in the box?"
Todd is incredibly intelligent, not to depreciate Feline Intelligence, but you can SEE him thinking, plotting what to say so Dad can make the combo he's imagined for himself. And, Imagination is a thing only Intelligence can bring to birth. Creativity too, a dull mind is not very creative [in Animal Kind] which again shows just how intelligent Todd is. Intelligent is not the same as Smart or Clever. Todd is truly an amazing Cat!
Great use for the kind gifts of jingle balls that viewers have sent, attach one of those to a new feather and wand, or tiny feather to jingle ball, no wand, your homemade bird toy. Todd is now head of research and development in the toy department. Dad is Chief Officer of Production ! 😊😼❤
Todd’s top things of 2024 are wonderful! Also, I started sketching Glamour on a piece of wood for carving! Going to have some pink crystal in the tongue! Can hardly wait to start!!
It’s so fun to see. I have to go, halfway through today, but I wonder if Todd combines toys *other than with bird toy. It’s notable that bird toy always requires Daddy to play with him, even more than with fetch. 💕😊
When I first saw this I was so surprised and glad at the same time. I have always felt everything has life hence intelligence, and the fact we cannot hear or understand another kind of life's language has to do with our limits, not with theirs. When in high school I read Micromegas by Voltaire I knew he knew, and felt less alone. These boards make our companions feel less lonely at last, and people like you and the other owners using these tools are groundbreaking. I think Todd might even suggest something worth a patent!
We were given a "Weasel" rolling toy, with a raccoon tail-like doodad on a ball that rolled around erratically. Kitty pretered to bat at the tail when the ball was not I'm motion. When we turned it on, he watched excitedly, but did not try to play with it. Then, my Hubby came home with a little fishing reel a coworker gave him to repair and do whatever with... We pulled off the end of the pole, tied the tail onto the line and would toss it then reel it back, and Kitty went INSANE with joy playing with it, chasing it, gutting the tail, fighting or coming back with the reeling of the line... These "Kids" fishing poles are sold as cat toys, but you can get an actual child learning rod and reel for less cost. Such a rig can have different toys and things connected at the end easily and switched out easier than tying them to the Bird Toy's string, and maybe seek shorter Peacock Feathers to tie to the rod's line for if Todd asks for it. Todd and likely even Paulie will LOVE the rod and reel set up, guaranteed. Seek one with a loop to guide the line on the reel's half of the rod, or you cannot really toss it at all.
Todd is amazing. What if you put a much longer string on a wand, then wrapped the string around the jingle ball, so you could "cast" the jingle ball down the hall like you were fly fishing?
If Todd had his own line of interchangeable toys for cats, Todd Toys, I would buy them for my cats because they are what real cats want. "Asked for by name!". You're welcome!
I had to put down my 13 yr old Manx cat today, cancer, and I wanted Todd to make me feel better. This pain is just terrible; it seems to be cumulative the more pets you have. It’s the only pain you sign on for, and everyone knows what it feels like. 😢😿 Not the best idea, but I’m going to have 🍷 Hug your fur babies 😻
Sounds like he wants various dangly things on the bird toy: a peacock feather, jingle ball, etc. Someone should create a “rod” (like the one on bird toy) that can be used to hold various objects. Sort of like earrings on which you can hang different charms. You could advertise it as “cat invented” toy. I would totally buy something like that-and I don’t even have a cat.
How old was Todd when he was introduced to the buttons? I have an 8 month old Siamese kitten who is VERY smart. He started playing fetch on his own at 4 months old, likes puzzle toys, and likes to watch Cat TV shows. He frequently has the zoomies. Is he too young to start learning language?
Thanks Dad and genius Todd. I like the “theme” of Todd the inventor; just amazing 😻

UA-cam star, cross species communication genius, toy inventor… we all agree Todd is amazing, and you are their loving cat daddy/ toy wizard!!❤

Just wow. Todd is one amazing boy.
You should start your own cat toy line, Todd's Toys! 😊
He's so smart 🐈
You're an amazing human who understands his cat❤❤❤❤
Agreed❤❤❤
Todd is an amazing cat who understands his human!
Love Dad's "Let's make this happen" attitude 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Such an amazing Cat.
That puts so much context into how my late kitty would joyfully join me when i opened the sewing drawer because sometimes i would craft her mousies and other toys out of buttons, string and fabric.
Todd is one of a kind!
Todd is the Leonardo da Vinci of cats! Thanks for compiling these recaps!
He is so smart! Love you guys! Thanks for making me smile as usual!
It takes a smart cat owner to understand an engineer kitty! Great job!
I like to think that Todd is extra proud of inventing the Butterfly-whirly. Glamour being so enthusiastic & Todd having previously suggested toys for Glamour.
You can add cat toy inventor to Todd's resume.
Tod seems to like that Glamour likes the toy too!
Dad!! Todd is so fortunate for you to be his Dad, as you are to be his Dad.
Todd is so smart and so cute! Love you Todd!!😘😘
Dad, Thankyou so much for sharing Todd and his siblings.. having these small uploads, atleast for me, really help to start up my day uplifting.. especially because I am homebound.
Me too.
❤ wow. You guys make me smile. Thanks for sharing
Just figure it out dad! ❤
So funny 😂 need to try one of those fishing rod toys for cats.
He was immediately interested when you made his requested invention and zilch with individual components. No mistaking what he was asking for. So smart!

I think the toy manufactures should pay close attention to this consultant😊
Can you imagine a corporate meeting at a toy company and someone saying: well, we need a new cat toy, so let’s ask the cats what they would like! 😂
😹

I'm going to start calling him Todd Da Vinci! LOL
My kitty girl ,Sterling, loves watching Tod. She likes string Thing and Bird toy too.❤

That cat is amazing! You might just need to start a cat toy line... call it Todd's Toys.
Todd’s top things of 2024 are wonderful! Also, I started sketching Glamour on a piece of wood for carving! Going to have some pink crystal in the tongue! Can hardly wait to start!!
That sounds beautiful 😍
Do you do this for sale?
@@ladawn603I do art for sale but haven’t for a couple years as I was fighting cancer. I am in remission at the moment so starting up again!
How awesome!!🎨
@@LisaBrandelbest wishes!
Amazing! I accept now that he is pressing buttons with his back feet!!! Our pets may be cleverer than we give them credit for.
What I like to pretend they’re saying, “make it be alive!” 😺
Haha; Todd play, Glamour play.
He is a good inventer

If I were Todd I would want to start a toy business.

Todd could sell his toys, if you sell the ideas...... Like a line so everyone can play with them. Enjoy that beautiul playinventor!
Good way he could retire.

you could start a cat toy company Todd's Toys
Now he’s just testing your creativity to see what new toys you can make, lol.

I’m so sorry. I have had to do that to 15 year old Lulu. The pain does get better. Have your wine🥹

I bought a package of cat wands with 3 different things on the end. Temu.

Trademark Todd!
I'm wondering if you let Todd catch the Jingle Ball-Bird Toy if he would bring it back to you to start again??

Todd could get a job at a Pet Toy company doing Research, Development and Marketing.

I wonder if he feels the need to hunt something?
