- Spring growth in Juneau annually passes me by more quickly than I would hope, especially the blueberry blossoms along the forrest trails. I originally wanted to make this video purely to experience and share an afternoon of beauty. In the end, I decided to also include some reflection on the process.
Great video and narration!
Thanks! Have an awesome new year!
Dear Kent, for very close shots you should "hold" focus... not allowing tracking if unnecessary during the shot. Better a slight loss of focus than focus jittering/hunting. Anyway your video is stunning! Great job!
Well, spring in the forrest is stunning anyway. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I don't think about locking focus as often as I should. I also adjusted my camera setting recently to hold the target more tightly, and that will also help.
Did you use a gimbal or did you hold it in your hand?
This was all hand-held. With no stabilization built into the lens, there was definitely some noticeable shake in the video clips even after adding warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro.
