Looks scary lol but you def made it sound super easy!
I got your back lol! Had to learn this trick while in school because we were constantly starting from scratch, no need to waste so much time constantly installing new VMs lol! While everybody else was installing their machines, I would take a trip outside or to the cafeteria LOL

when I start the new cloned machine it says boot failure. "reboot and select proper Boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device"

Dos it have all the same win updates ? I thought each time an up date is dune it has its own uneque id/encrypt code !?
Yup, when you do this the new machine will be exactly as the master was when it was cloned. You can install all and any updates + programs and documents, clone the master, and all the new VMs will have all those updates + binaries.
