Running with Skydio 2 Tracking with Phone and Beacon

In this video, you will see the Skydio 2 drone Do motion tracking, and GPS tracking simultaneously. In this video, my goal was to work out some of the technical difficulties with my drone and not have to be concerned about all the nuances of writing a Recumbent and Trike and trying to film and learn how to fly the drone all at the same time. In my first video What the hell Skydio 2? - Ice VTX Recumbent Trike • What the hell Skydio 2... listed So I realize from my last video is I have a lot of things to think about in reference to making sure my cameras are straight on my bike and trying to operate a brand new drone it was too much, it was about like trying to chew gum, smoke a cigarette and walk all at the same time. So in this video, I wanted to demonstrate A similar setting on how I would use the Skydio 2 drone or drone if I was riding my trike. So as you can see you going to see me do some different things running I’m a run I’m a change direction I just really want to see how responsive this drone is and whether or not it can keep up they keep Mitch in tracking me as it’s been advertised. And I must admit you might say George you’re thinking negatively but I was kind of thinking yeah that works for everybody else but will it work for me. so apparently there are different settings and what I have it on now there’s fix the track, and there’s also motion track and with motion tracking, you can set it to be on your right side of your left side or to be behind you or in front of you and it will do what he can to stay in that position.
I like the motion track setting that’s probably the setting that I will be using mostly. They're still doing construction in my community not as much as they were but they’re doing some Annie you’ll see me go past a different home construction site as well., And the Skydio 2 drone does well with obstacle avoidance anywhere anything from street signs, tree lambs, to big trucks.
And don’t be making jokes about how slow it looks like I’m running because I’m actually running really really really fast.
Watch me as I go through a cul-de-sac you’ll see the drone really working to stay in front of me and try to figure out which direction I’m headed in.
The other thing that I like is how easy the footage is to download once I plug in the SD card on my computer. Work on the deck
Now you’ll see me try to confuse the drone by running in zigzag changing directions and Scotty oh actually does a great job with trying to maintain this position with you.
I’m not sure there’s one part where I don’t know what I was doing and oh OK I think I was trying to see if the drone would move for the way and still track me but I think this is the setting that I like.
I also like the way the drone just lions in your hand I think that’s so cool.
