The only thing that's missing from this video is the plethora of lifelong symptoms that are generally associated with TBI and or PCS particularly those who have had a frontal lobe injury, fogginess, memory loss, sleeping and wakeing issues and constant extra proneness to pdhd, depression and anxiety, the after math of PCS is going to exasperate all those mental illnesses particularly if someone is being constantly bullied constantly particularly around the time of injury or higher PCS phases, stress releases negate hormones into the brain possibly furthering the brain damage that is already there.

This is so helpful (I am already 5 months post concussion). It is really a hard thing to go through, and appreciate that you have experienced this and address the anxiety/depression aspect. You really feel that all you want is your old brain back. I am on workman's comp. and thankfully I have a good neurologist, but he will have a tough time getting the therapies I need as they are stingy and not into recognizing head injuries. I have to seek out videos like yours and get my own research.

When being assessed with a head injury/mTBI, why do doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, and neurologists testing cannot seem to differentiate between frontal lobe damage, PCS and ADHD? I can see the frontal lobe damage on my MRI with my skull fracture, I still have PCS symptoms, doctors said my symptoms are ADHD, I don’t understand why they are misdiagnosing my mTBI🤕

I wonder the same. They all blame it on my (late diagnosed) Aspergers, well I didn't suddenly get twice as autistic for no reason now did I?

    How I Recovered From Concussion
I suffered concussion for a year. After one year, I discovered the ice therapy. I started using ice to massage my skull and that was the very time my recovery started. One month into this ice therapy, I was 80% okay. If you are going through concussion do this consistently for 3 months and you’ll be just fine.
Note: my Brain CT and Brain MRI scans were normal
I had to shave my hair completely so the ice could penetrate my skull.

I got into a auto accident in 2005. Pretty bad one. 136 stitches in my forehead and chin with cracked pelvis. I know I got whiplash and hitting my head the way I did I know I was concussed. MRI was done was stiched up and out the door. I have every symptom of post concussion syndrome. My life has been pretty difficult to say the least. After my accident, I moved back home from Cali to Oklahoma 6 months after accident. I felt fine. No symptoms at all. Once I got home that night, I’ll be honest I smoked a joint. Once I did all hell broke loose. From that night till this very day symptoms. I was for sure I had a brain tumor but my family and friends told me I would have know if I had one for 15 years. So every place I looked I put in my symptoms and boom PCS. Every thing from tinnitus headaches and everything PCS related I have. I need help. This sucks.

Can concussion issues persist all of life even when the subjective and big symptoms faded away after + - 1 year? An alternative Dr said the hospital maltreated me by making me get up and walk around soon afterwards (I don't remember, but believe it was after only 1 day of a hospital stay of 3 days in all.
In how far Is the length of time proportional to the damage/seriousness of the concussion? I'd think there are many parameters.

Try to find eye doctor that has been trained in FCOVD. Doctor should have you come in with eye exercises.
      Sometimes prism glasses can help.
Look for doctor, including DC, that focuses on concussion therapy, which can include beyond eye doctor, adjustments, neurofeedback (odd but helpful, PhD/ PsyD usual do that), massage, physical therapy, dry needling
There are eye tracking and eye exercises on UA-cam.
