Excellent list. I've found that, consistently, Terriermon struggles with DP. I've been in so many situations where I could've had game but the opponet's DP was just too high. So I've been running 3 EX2 Terrier and 2 BT17 Terrier (for inheritables). Also, 2 of the BT17 Willis gving 2k DP every turn is super clutch, especially when you have a 16k RapidX on board. 1 Cherubi Ace is huge as well.
Deck building wise I love having 2 security bombs or option removal. There will always be a matchup where your engine can’t deal with something. Until a side deck makes a comeback which I don’t mind not having, then I want every matchup to be playable. I’m a Diaboromon main so I need the generic options that just delete big things I can’t dedigi and the floodgate poppers
You have my attention with best boy Terriermon. I need to rebuild mine after neglecting it in favor of my Leopard X Green Gacha engine deck. It's just been way too much fun seeing the look on my opponent's face when I swing with one Mametyremon, then Digivolve into Leopard X, playing Cherubi Ace for free, playing a level 4 off that play for free, then either giving one digimon -8k and bouncing an 11k or targeting a bigger threat and DP reducing it before bouncing. When they think it's over, then I digivolve Cherubi into Cherubi X and get another body on the board, then taking out another big threat at end of turn and using Shoto to give it blocker. Recent locals I've gone x-0 and x-1, going up against decks like Three Great Angels, Gallantmon, Lucemon, Machinedramon, and an Omni Zwart zoo that used a Dark Masters base.
I run 1 mimi and 1 EX2 Henry just because I like the ability to suspend another body if I dont have ways to suspend anything to just get the quick kill with Rapid X.
I really want to make the bt17 Terriermon and Willis work since you get to suspend and reduced cost 2 digivolve when play by an effect. Of course scramble is more effective while being cheaper than the Willis, but the extra 2k from willis did edge me out situations. I also ran x2 Togemogumon just so I could get inherit strip and stall whenever I did suspend stuff. I was just dealing with so much deletion and bounce that I couldn't afford to keep it in play even with Bt16 worm to bring them back.
I have tried them both and I think the BT17 Willis is a nice 1 of. It's pretty situational but the +2K DP is nice. It probably shouldn't be a 4 cost tamer though, it's a bit too steep for modern Digi format imo. BT17 Terrier isn't a bad 1 of also, I've tried it in the past but sadly you gotta play Pomumon right now. As you said, scramble is kinda insane but it's also great with the new BT17 Willis and any memory setter! I'll upload a combo soon!
Hey, I'm still playing with a version of your ex7 deck profile to deal with shoto/mother at my local. Do you think this version of the deck can stand up to mother too?
@@spoogaloo3583 this version has way less ways to DP buffs outside of Lopmon for Alliance. If you need to deal with MagnaX/ShotoMom then I'd recommend keeping Calumon at 1-2 and maybe even the new Willis for the extra dp
What do you mean? Lopmon (the alliance deck) is really good and I have many profiles of it on the channel. Unless you mean green scramble, in that case, fair.
@LOZA-DigimonTCG no I mean actual lopmon like. A lot of the deck sucks. The lopmon tamer is terrible and not worth it so you just run mimi (making it barely a lop deck.) and sure alliance is good but sadly there's an easy way to stop that. Floodgates and even bombs destroy the deck.
