i noticed it changed the tone slightly. what was surprising is that it took some of the sharpness from my bridge tone and turned that ice pickiness into a more usable tone. really surprised by that. It doesn't require a lot of manipulation or travel in the bar to get the tomes you want. i had to learn to have a softer hand. I am not a dive bomber but nice to know I can pull that trick out of the bag any time I want to now. Overall a thicker tone. a few adjustments on the tone knob and amp and all is well.
This is the review that sold me on it. Tim is the best.
I order mine. Got it in a mail today and can't wait to install this trem.

Great to see these user experiences of tremolos. One thing. The trem arm mount. Is it like the Floyd Rose? Are there some 'wobble' in the arm?
Nothing at all. In the VT1, the arm fits perfectly and there isn't "wobble".

Its the same. Just keep in mind that every time you change the tuning, you have to change the setting of the springs too.
I see that it has a small block. How it affects the sustain?
