I wish Dr Mary had gone a little deeper on what happened to her 9 year old. My 11 year old son just passed away 4th March, he has always been healthy, suddenly a very rare condition called HLH took my baby boy. We are grieving and that's what brought me here,watching your testimony is helping a lot.Thank you

I don’t understand about NDE. I’ve read her second book. Without a body how do you have an image. I understand that consciousness may go on but there is nothing physical that you would be able to be known. In NDE what are you?

With all due respect, lady, if you believe an 8-10 yo child is a sinner and find pride in this, I feel sorry for you and for all those will come on your path.
And to use your metaphor Mary, what happens if someone blocks your route, as the lady unwittingly did her canoe, and you Mary had to go down the less safe route instead?
I've spent decades putting myself out to do the right thing, and most of the time people haven't even met me halfway.
Worse, the police have criminalised me time and again for having the 'integrity' and 'courage' to fight for not just my rights, but others?
Now I am facing "3" court cases for doing the right thing.
People too often speak of spirituality, but only on their own terms.
If we truly believe in spirituality, we should apply these values universally.
For what I heard from her, she do not believe that it is import to make a decision and accept Christ as a saviour! Make me feel she think all of us can go to heaven, this can be a stumbling block for many in this world. She definitely need to go to the Bible to really understand the truth. 🙌🏼❤️

I believe in life after death. But, something doesn't add up. In the spiritual realm we are comforted and upheld. It is much easier to lose someone we love suddenly than to live in fear of it's inevitability for years so why would we be told that there. I worked with 4 year olds, only at around 9 could they envisage being grown up . A 4 year old understands tomorrow and maybe 6 months ahead so her son was very unusual. She is clearly a sterling person but we cannot read the mind of God. I wish her no ill and am sorry about the anguish she went through on her child's death.
A good point Emily and yes, it seems strange to make someone live for 10 years with insight of an impending bereavement. Some will likely argue it will help with grieving but If she already had knowledge of the afterlife in her nde she wouldn't need this so much it could be said. God knows it seems. I, like you, do not wish to upset anyone and Dr Neal seems a sterling person. I also think a lot of these NDE's seem genuine to the experienced. My biggest issue is with a Deity who doesn't manifest themselves without any doubt to clear up any confusion and do everyone the honour which us humans deserve.
Honestly, if there is a God they seem to be a friggin doofus who I'm really not sure I would even like let alone love.
I like Mary Neal and have done her suggested life review but honestly I find the subject of a God more hassle that its worth a lot of the time as its usually ambiguous, opaque, frustrating and throws up more questions than answers. I found no certain times of a presence of a divinity. If God is real it makes you wonder why such a being doesn't make themselves straightforward and known. Everyone knows an Elephant is real...no doubt, or a Bear...no doubt...but God...out comes all the ethereal, opaque tosh.
the good news is that this is a one way feeling. You're not too much hassle for God 😅 even if doubting and overthinking and wanting something you can touch and smell with your physical senses.
go look with your heart, if you can find even a faint flicker of selfless love and joy then you've touched it. no need for words or definitions or scripture or dogma ...no concept 😊

I wonder what her thoughts on reincarnation are . Why doesn’t someone ask this direct question ? Many NDE survivors are absolutely convinced there is reincarnation,it would be interesting to know her perspective on this .
It's simple it does not exist, but in reality Jesus never talk or teach anything about it, if reincarnation existed then there would be no reason for Jesus to sacrifice him self for the sins of all humans and for him to give grace to the people who follows him, i never believed peoples storys of reincarnation humans are known liars, there is a saying out there humans would believe in anything as long as it did not come from the bible
@@Ravenstudios-s5o According to respected NDE researcher PMH Atwater ,an estimated 40 % of near death survivors believe in reincarnation. These are beliefs they did not have prior to their experience,some of them were even raised Christian . If 40% of these people are lying ,that’s quite a statistic. I’ve listen to many of these testimonies and belief in reincarnation is a consistent theme .
The demeanour and body language of these people strongly suggests that they are sincere ,I don’t believe they’re lying . If they’re not lying ,then who or what did they encounter? Personally I don’t like reincarnation and I definitely 100% do not trust the “ Light” ( whoever that is ) ???? .Perhaps things are not always as they appear to be ,something is sinister about the “Light Being” for sure.

The phrase" getting into heaven " is such a terrible statement...stop spreading such misinformation...this is to the interviewer.
Heaven exists all around us and we are never denied access to it...we live and create it through our connection to the living Source God that created this world...we are never withheld from heaven...it is through OUR choices we make.
I disagree. Heaven to my mind and I suspect many others involves having a life with the things of your choosing which is often out of people's reach financially. Then there are former loved ones no longer present. It's life where there's no threat of War, personal harm, ill will etc. You need a lot of effort and luck to get that in this life and in many ways ARE denied access to this, unless you're version of Heaven is different, please tell ?

I actually think I am Athiest now. Having been open to, even desirous of the potential of a God being real, reading scripture, meeting religious groups, listening to MANY ideas and individuals debate it, one thing stands out in all of it. What kind of a being would expect, even suggest, dedicating their lives to a being for which there's zero real evidence of apart from nice stories, a few poems and the will of wishful people ?
It throws up many more problems than it answers. If anyone was asked to commit their families livelihood, their health, the roof over their heads etc on something so devoid of evidence or credibility, then this is an absurd proposition, which true friends of anyone being asked this would be deeply concerned about said family getting involved with it.
So many believers seem to have to do so much mental gymnastics to convince themselves a God is real, the bigger question should be, what kind of a being would make themselves so obscure, unprovable, in a world of 7 billion people with all our issues, pain and troubles. This God can create life but never proves themself to be real against ANY doubt apart from 2000 years ago a book says, never answers a prayer, is eternally vague, relying and expecting deep personal faith on something as likely to be myth, Fairytales and the like ?
People can be 'good' without an ambiguous, obfuscating framework built around what seems like thin air. They're probably better off without it as well.
SimonJBrand, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. Hebrews 11:1. I am not an avid Bible reader as I should be or a regular church goer as I should be. I was brought up in church and am still a Christian. I can’t lie to you and say I have never had doubts but they are fleeting and always come back to faith. Sometimes prayers are answered. Sometimes they are not. God may not always give you what you want but He will always give you what need according to His will because He sees infinitely in wisdom more than we do. Reading your response, this verse of Hebrews in my response is the first thing I thought of. I don’t know many Bible verses by heart, and that somehow popped in my mind reading your message. If you also look at how the world is held together, there is so much perfection it’s amazing. It’s gravitational laws in tandem with a vast universe, the perfection of the smallest cells and how the millions of them form together to make breathing and living beings with a perfect anatomical make up, how down to the tiniest cells and nerves to organs and how all of that moves in synchronicity at all times to keep us conscious, thinking, loving, breathing and moving, there most definitely is a God, Son and the Holy Spirit who gave us all this miracle of life from plants to animals to humans. Scientifically, even if there was only the smallest rock formed first in the beginning to one day create a big bang, something way beyond our comprehension had to have the knowledge to create that rock and powerful enough to do it. Nothing at all can just appear without a higher power before it. If you would pray to God in the name of Jesus for the answers to your questions and some way He can reach you, and wait on Him to answer and ask for these answers with an open heart and mind, patience for Him to answer you, He definitely will. Sometimes He has answered me instantaneously, and sometimes He waits to show the perfect situation to happen to me to answer me, it is shown in a way that made me understand it was an answer. I personally have experienced a love from God. A presence of calmness and love that was totally unexplainable. Especially when I was lost, sought Him in prayer, and broken hearted or in sorrow over something or someone. That is also in the Bible that He is close to the broken hearted and people who seek Him for answers to their lives. When angry or blaming or not believing, is when we are not open to receive those gifts and turn away. He gives us free will to be near or far away from Him and I have personally done both and being far away from Him in life were the times I waa miserable or angry and wallowing in it. God is light and love. Peace and love to you.
Evidence ignored always fails to prove anything.
As an atheist, could you explain to me how absolutely nothing exploded into all that is around us? Or if you believe the universe always existed, how and why? Just like it’s difficult for you to explain that, it’s difficult to explain God. All we can say is He is love. It took me 30 years to believe. I was agnostic until last year when I had just a little faith and saw how real God is.
