He saved money on trailers, security and planning to get all the gunit members to meet up. Plus the prop guns and outfit changes. The live action version would've costed at least 100k to shoot but he probably paid 20k and had someone do all that from a computer. Plus he had a video game coming out around the time so this gave fans a little taste of what to expect until it releases...simply genius 🔥🔥🔥
damn right! I'm that animator. it was nicer than 20k, remember back in 03 NO ONE was doing this independently, and budgets were HUGE back then. Going to remaster this soon, bring the whole thing into Unreal engine and open it up as an interactive world. Stay tuned
