Music was still banging so you didn’t lose the quality either. 90’s rap has a special feel to it but it wasn’t as big as the 2000s. The 2000s will always be the height of everything that makes rap altogether. So happy I lived this in my late teens/early 20’s!

i like the 2000s not just the music, but just how everything looked, the fashion, society, the swag, the attitude, the style of directing the music videos, the way the environment looked, it didnt look so modern or gentrified like today and alot more people were out on the streets then these days, it always feels dead in the background when i see modern music videos trying to recreate old school style videos and using HD cameras makes it feel weird. i love the shitty old film cameras so much better
