Not sure if you’ve mentioned this, or done the class already, but since the Ilrigger just got added to D&D Beyond will you be covering that class at anytime. I mainly ask because I know you’ve done some Matt Mercer content and this class feels just as close to official content as third-party material is gonna get. Thanks for the videos as always.
It is nice to see that you are trying to fix things you find you don't like, and I applaud that, but I guess I'll be the "nay-sayer" here. I disagree with your analysis of this subclass in some places. I think Minor Conjuration should have gotten rid of the magic glow completely, as it is weird and makes it difficult to use. I also don't like the scaling you placed on it since it makes it rather useless at 2nd level giving only tiny objects, but that is my opinion on this. Also Benign Transposition would be better if it were an action or a bonus action. By giving it a bonus action only it can't be used on the same turn with misty step, so the combo to switch places with a player who's in trouble and then bonus action misty step out to get yourself out of trouble now no longer works. I actually like the order of the original subclass as it was (thankfully my DM would never allow this change since she doesn't want to deal with homebrew stuff or fixes herself that she has to remember later on). I guess I'm just more partial to original stuff myself. I find that I even don't like many of the new features in the 2024 Player's Handbook.
I'm sure it will come out in a later source book, but I would be curious to hear how you would adapt necromancer for 2024. Just a thought.
