Oh how thankful that back in 1970, i accepted Jesus as my personal Savior. I'm now 69 yrs old. The road hasn't always been easy but Jesus has never left me nor forsaken me. Ask Jesus into your heart today. Read your Bible, it's a roadmap for our lives.❤
I remember hearing this, maybe in church or at a youth gathering decades ago. I was looking for background music for my wedding reception on May 25th on UA-cam and ran across this beautiful reminder of how much Jesus loves me and keeps reminded me and my heart was broken with tears! We have constant reminders of His faithful love and how much we mean to Him. Sometimes we wander away like sheep, but the great Shepherd always lovingly leads us back into the fold! Oh how He loves you and me. What a sweet reminder of that from Ralph Carmichael!
The Savior is waiting to enter your heart, Why don't you let Him come in? There's nothing in this world to keep you apart, What is your answer to Him? Time after time He has waited before, And now He is waiting again To see if you're willing to open the door: O how He wants to come in. If you'll take one step toward the Savior, my friend, You'll find His arms open wide; Receive Him, and all of your darkness will end, Within your heart He'll abide. Time after time He has waited before, And now He is waiting again To see if you're willing to open the door: O how He wants to come in.
Music has power to move people in ways that sermons can't. I've played for church service for years, and I have felt the Holy Spirit move in me through music, and move the congregation through the music that I was playing. Talk about a rush.
So nice but then again a master at work. Memories come flooding back of a precious daughter now held in God's arms oh for the day we can hold her hand once more ..Mum Dad
as I see the scenary with accompany your music, I start to cry because my heart full of thankfullness to our God who always waiting for us to come home
This song is making a come back. I just turned 50 not long ago, and I'm still working on this one. Maybe I'll get it by the time it comes around the third time. Thanks Greg, I'll keep working on it.
Where do I begin? Let's start with Romans 8:7-8: Romans 8:7-8 English Standard Version (ESV) 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. If the Savior wants to come into my heart, He's got a long wait. Paul says that those who are in the flesh cannot please God. They are not able. Did Jesus wait outside Lazarus's tomb, time after time, to see if Lazarus was willing to come out? Romans 9:14-18 English Standard Version (ESV) 14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. Verse 16 says that God's mercy in salvation depends not the the human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. Ephesians 2:1-6 English Standard Version (ESV) 2 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience- 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved- 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus... So, let me get this straight. I'm dead in sin, by nature a child of wrath, doing what I want to do, and all of a sudden I'm going to "ask Jesus into my heart"? Not what Paul says. Paul says that when I was dead, God raised me up. Salvation is God's doing from first to last. We are saved by grace, through faith, and the faith is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8-9 English Standard Version (ESV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. This song is so full of bad theology it makes my ears bleed.
Dearest Greg.... this is a troll who hits every single gospel song he can find and places the same thing on them each time. The devil come to us in all forms.... but I know your powerful incredible GOD inspired music sends him fleeing each time. This is breathtaking. And you used one of my all time favorite songs! God bless you always! Mel
Hi Greg, how do you do those beautiful quick piano trills and runs in the middle of the arrangement? Have you ever done a video tutorial on this technique? would love to learn how to do these... Many Thanks, Joe
I do appreciate this version, I have dowloaded you this video for ministry and for cover purposes I hope it's okay with you. Thank you so much! I am a missionary.
Let me get this straight - Jesus is waiting for you - despite waiting for billions of souls? How many minutes does He spend with each who accept him? I'm guessing that also includes the billions of people who have died as well. Is there a machine that dispenses numbers? ("Now serving number 10 billion") What are we supposed to do while we're waiting for an audience with the Savior? And does the line have a bathroom?
@@GregHowlettpiano So you'd recommend I should get a life like yours where you're espousing a philosophy that is based on a book that is not at all fact-oriented? When I hear falsehoods I should ignore them and just be happy and dishonest? I might point out that America was formed on disagreement. Are you against America?
